Pink Cloud: AA Meeting Finder Reviews

Pink Cloud is a great app and is frequently enhanced with new features. I use it daily and use “Rooms” finder when traveling. Jason (developer) is very responsive and engaged. I recently moved and noticed an outdated meeting location because the local chapter had not submitted updated location. I reported this through support and was emailed the next morning by Jason letting me know they have weekly accuracy reviews and would update the listing. He then emailed me to let me know the change had been corrected and thanked me for bringing it to his attention! I HIGHLY recommend Pink Cloud and appreciate the developer’s attention to detail and follow up!! Experience, Strength and Hope!!

PinkCloud has been very useful with me in my recovery. The meeting finder is a lifesaver. If I can make a suggestion it would be to have the meeting counter 30 days instead instead of seven days Or even meeting counter for 90 days since some of us have to do 90 meetings in 90 days. Other than that I love it and I’m going to end up purchasing it once my free trial is over I recommend PinkCloud to anybody who is trying to get clean and sober through the NA or AA or CMA program. This will be the best purchase maybe this year that I will be making. Thank you to the developers for PinkCloud but please try and make the room counter more than seven days thank you

For those familiar with AA I don’t have to go into great detail why it’s immoral to charge money for this. Regardless of app improvement or functionality this is profiting off AA which is so beyond messed up. Not to mention it’s not even fully accurate, but that is a tough thing to keep up on in every area so that shouldn’t be judged too harshly.

I also understand one is not allowed to accept donations through PinkCloud per apple rules but the loophole would be to link it to a website where one could easily use PayPal or other electronic payment methods. Until then PinkCloud developer(s) aren’t helping anybody in any AA fashion.

I didn’t even realize it was a “trial” until I was looking for a meeting and got prompted with the need to pay to continue to use the meeting finder. And the thing that really made me angry and led me to review this is that the developer(s) had the audacity to try and guilt the user into purchasing PinkCloud by “thinking of the newcomer.”

No, the developer(s) needs to think of the traditions and where they apply and either offer it for free, link a website donation page or shut it down. It’s not even a one time purchase.

PinkCloud is by far the best sober app out there. It is extremely easy to use and has everything you need to stay on top of your sobriety. The “Rooms” section is so easy to use and find a meeting in or around any town your in at the time. It has also helped me set up a daily checklist that I try to accomplish everyday. I have pretty much downloaded every sober app I come across and now have deleted all the others and just use this one. Thank you for creating PinkCloud!

PinkCloud is really helpful especially right now while I’m tracking my 90 meetings in 90 days. It’s very helpful for finding meetings, especially when you are traveling. There is a “directions” button right there on the page with the info for the meeting. You can add your own prayers and there is a phone list function that helps keep your contacts anonymous on your phone. There are more great features. I use PinkCloud every day!

PinkCloud is awesome. Makes it so easy to locate and save meetings you enjoy. Using this is so much easier than the meeting lists online. Game changer! I highly recommend it. I never pay for apps and I ended up paying for 6 months to keep the rooms feature after the free trial. However, you can bookmark your favorite meetings before the free trial ends and you won’t lose these even if you don’t subscribe to the rooms feature after the trial! Love it!

I use PinkCloud for everything involving the meetings I want to attend. I can touch the map and it will allow me to see meetings in that area, I can bookmark it, set a reminder, check-in & track what I attended.
It also gives options of prayers and I've added my own morning & evening prayers, journaling/notes I use for the meetings I attend, phone lists, days sober, current step, etc!!!
It definitely has room for growth but it is amazing and the most encompassing I've seen yet.

PinkCloud helps you navigate meetings specially when you're new to an area. I love how it allows you to keep track of the meetings you've gone to and also bookmark the ones you like. Getting a reminder for the meetings also is important for me personally. I think it's great that PinkCloud provides a list where you can check off some of the things you've done that day for your recovery. I highly recommend PinkCloud to anyone who's in recovery.

PinkCloud has been instrumental in my early recovery. I'm going to a variety of meetings regularly now that I probably wouldn't have discovered without PinkCloud. It's way easier than using the AA website or calling the office or getting the little pamphlet directories, although perhaps not quite as accurate. Pink Cloud has not yet led me to a defunct meeting though and I don't think it ever will! It's also a fun way to keep track of your sobriety and work on your program, etc.

Great app. Would prefer it didn’t request reviews after I’ve declined to review more than once. Would also like to see logging multiple meetings in one day streamlined - as it is now you have to go to another day in the future, select your second or third meeting, and then log it into your current day - which is obviously a needless hassle. Otherwise great app.

I downloaded this because I’m a newcomer and I needed to find meetings near me. PinkCloud worked fine and I loved it, because the room finder was available and I used it very much. I open PinkCloud one day and it won’t show the rooms until I pay, the minimum monthly fee. Granted it’s only one dollar, but as a newly sober alcoholic, I’ve wrecked my credit therefore don’t even have a bank account, not to mention I’m barely scraping by to pay the rent for my halfway house. PinkCloud isn’t the only one, but I had to delete it because i didn’t expect it to charge alcoholics for help.

both AA and NA pertains to me, and i am so happy to have found something that accommodates me to either which wherever i am. because of PinkCloud i have found so many more meetings than i thought and through have met the most amazing people. i recommend this to anybody who struggles with addiction and wants, needs, a better life because it is truly obtainable, and it starts with a meeting.

I LOVE PinkCloud. I haven’t opened it in a while because i’ve been social distancing but they updated PinkCloud to meetings online and in person. it’s only $1 a month (i think) and it’s definitely worth it. Paying less than a cup of coffee to keep track of my recovery but also find meetings around me wherever i am!!!!

Having just joined AA I am always looking for meetings to attend, especially when traveling over the summer. PinkCloud really helps find rooms in whatever city or country you are visiting. There are a few cities in Europe that I'm going to next month that weren't listed in PinkCloud - I emailed customer service and they responded quickly and are looking for meetings! I really recommend PinkCloud!!

Thank you to the amazing soul who developed PinkCloud!!! I have 19 days today, a sponsor, the fellowship, and a new life. PinkCloud has become an integral part to my recovery. Being able to bookmark meetings, track attendance, add notes, phone numbers, prayers, etc. I couldn’t ask for anything more in an app. Do not hesitate for one second; it’s the best $5 I ever spent. Super convenient app, works really well and I like how everything is centralized from contacts to directions and even notes. Only complaint I have is I wish they had a tab for "Daily" meetings so you could easily bookmark or identify those. PinkCloud is really big part of my life and recommend to most of my pals who are new to the program.

I really like PinkCloud , especially the rooms feature. I'm just wondering if there is anyway users can inform PinkCloud developers of changes in local meetings (locations, new meetings, etc) so that PinkCloud is accurate? I would really like to make sure PinkCloud is actually reflective of the meetings in my area. It would be nice if there was a way for users to edit meeting information.

PinkCloud works decently— have had some problems with addresses being incorrect, it doesn’t say the length of the meetings, and when you have it show you directions it puts the GPS coordinates into the google maps app rather than the address. The main reason why I give this one star is that it goes against AA principles as it is a for-profit app. They usurp AA slogans and use them in PinkCloud , yet as they are for profit they are basically using AA to make a profit. Once my free trail is up I will certainly not be paying to line the pockets of these opportunistic developers.

This is the best app I have found for traveling. With location services on, it finds meetings within a set radius. I’ve used this to find meetings in Maryland, California and more along with my home area. PinkCloud itself holds me accountable for my attendance and checking off the things I need to be doing to work a strong program. I love PinkCloud!!!

PinkCloud has been an invaluable tool when traveling as well as at home. I’ve added prayers and edited PinkCloud ’s daily checklist to keep myself accountable. I also had an immediate response to a correction of two local groups that had changed but AA General Services had not updated their database yet with the correct information.

PinkCloud has much to offer beyond its fresh aesthetics. I haven’t found a meeting that isn’t listed on PinkCloud yet. The truth is I may not be where I am with my sobriety if this tool wasn’t installed on my phone. With access to waze or google maps, directions to any meeting are a few taps away once I put my key in the ignition. I wish there was a way for PinkCloud to access more detailed descriptions of the meetings (probably the fault of the database and not PinkCloud ), but otherwise this new age meeting finder has worked wonders. Keep coming, it works.

I enjoy using this to count my days clean and keep track of which meetings I’ve been to. I’ve noticed it’s not always up to date. Certain meetings have either moved locations or become discontinued. Some new meetings are not listed. My biggest issue is that I don’t understand the function under the programs tab; why check off items on a list of what I did “Today” if it’s not saved in a log so I can compare my progress?
