Find My Fitbit Reviews

First problem, I paid for the premium service for life to use. Once you use it and close FindMyFitbit , when you relaunch it, it asks if you want to purchase the premium service again. In very tiny writing at the bottom is “ restore purchase “. I didn’t delete FindMyFitbit , why do I have to hit restore every time I use it? Very deceptive. I keeps using it because I still haven’t found my Fitbit.
Second problem, it says signal is weak or strong and where device is listed, it says iPad. I’m using my phone to find my Fitbit which is what FindMyFitbit is supposed to do. Why is it finding my iPad which is sitting on my desk?
If I use my iPad to search for it, the device listed is my iPhone which is right next to me. It is finding everything that isn’t lost and not finding my Fitbit at all. I know it’s somewhere close because when I hit sync on my phone it updates immediately.
FindMyFitbit is complete garbage. This is old man with a 3-strand comb-over hot trash. FindMyFitbit stinks more than humidity-soaked hookers using wet wipes to bathe. I want my money back.

Purchased this out of desperation to find my watch (which fell off on its own). I made sure to slowly take my time to scan all the areas I thought my Fitbit could be. Completely undressed the car and could not find it. Low and behold I see it, on my own, sitting on top of my backpack that was in the car. After I picked up the watch thinking that I scanned that area multiple timers with no color change. I put the watch slowly to my phone to see if the color change would slowly appear. Nothing...absolutely nothing changed. I went as far as to touch the fitbit to the phone with app “actively” searching for the fitbit. What a bust. And to take advantage on desperate desperate people just to make a few bucks. Well played

I purchased FindMyFitbit yesterday evening. Although my fit bit was next to it it said it had a week signal. Battery was full on my phone and fit bit. I plugged it in anyway. Started a new scan a multitude of time where it found devices that weren’t connect and were actually off, and two items I didn’t recognize m, maybe from someone else’s home. I had to repeatedly start the scan just so it would look for the ionic. It found it probably 2 or 3 times out of 15 to twenty scans if not more. I finally started to record my screen after a while so people could see this was no exaggeration. I don’t know how you have so many happy customers when you can’t find what your supposed to be looking for. All other blue tooth connectivity was off except the ionic. There should be small print that says results not typical. And shame on FindMyFitbit Store for not checking out what they sell. Additionally, make the bad reviews as easy to get to as the good reviews. Could have saved ton time!

I couldn’t find my Fitbit Versa 2 but it was still syncing to the Fitbit App. I downloaded this and it instantly tried to discover my iPad- so I turned my iPad off. It then discovered almost every other device in our home but never my Fitbit. I finally stopped trying when it synced to our Tile and there is no way to turn that device off.

I did find my Fitbit shoved between couch cushions but only because my toddler pulled the cushions off the next day.

An improvement would be to have a button that says something like “not the device I’m looking for” so you don’t have to go through and turn off all your electronics.

FindMyFitbit does not work at all. I guess it’s just a scam for people desperate to find their devise. I’m so sorry I paid for it, even though it wasn’t a lot of money I still paid something for nothing. It would turn green in my bedroom area and I tore the room apart looking for it. In the long run it was found in a different part of the house where it indicated red. Once I found it I opened FindMyFitbit and held it above my FitBit while I was wearing it. It indicated red and said there was no signal that it was off or in a different room… I was wearing it!!! I would not recommend this to anyone. 👎

I lost my fitbit in an Airbnb house and FindMyFitbit kept leading me to a location near the door. We torn the house apart and never found it. I thought maybe it was in one of the packed bags but when we got in the car FindMyFitbit said we were getting farther away from the fitbit. When I went back in the house it was saying I was close to the fitbit. This went on for over an hour and so we gave up. Then when we were driving my husband said to see if the fitbit was connecting to the Bluetooth on my phone and sure enough it was, it was even close enough to sync. The fitbit app still said the fitbit was not in the car and was leading is back to the house. We think FindMyFitbit was reading the Bluetooth door locks as a fitbit but who knows it was definitely not picking up the Fitbit.

Looks for anything your Bluetooth is connected to or can search for (I.e. non paired devices). This has potential of being a great aspect of FindMyFitbit, HOWEVER you are not able to select the device you’re looking for as it does it automatically and sometimes feeling at random. This is very problematic if you have multiple Bluetooth devices in your home, or if you live in a more densely populated area because you’ll be connecting/looking for your neighbors’ devices… Please add a feature where we can tap on the “device” section or on settings in order to change the device we are looking for!!

It took me 15 minutes but I finally found it I suggest walking very slowly through your house (where ever). The written feedback at the top of your phone is slow to react to your proximity to your phone. I could not correlate the color clues given me to my proximity to the watch. Even though it took a while, I found my beloved watch!💜

I installed FindMyFitbit and was free! Works amazing! I found it immediately after following the review in Fitbit community that advised to remove the Fitbit device from the blue tooth setting on my phone. Thanks to the founder and for offering it free!! I was first confused by the msg and was a little scared to even remove it. Device was in my house and my battery was full and synced on my phone. Even though I knew it I got tired of looking for it for over 30 minutes and I decided to download FindMyFitbit . Thanks a lot!

I couldn’t find my Fitbit. I didn’t know if it was at home or at work. I called Fitbit and they told me it had just synced 1 minute ago and that meant it was within 30 feet. I downloaded FindMyFitbit and at first it was tracking our blue tooth speaker and another device (annoying) but after we shut these devices off and hit “start scan” a few times it started looking for my Fitbit and within 5 minutes I found it. It had fallen in a box where I never would have checked. Thank you Fitbit tinder. You saved me $130 to buy a new one!

Fitbit Alta HR was knocked off my wrist in the woods beside my house. After slowly walking through each room with Scan on, I went to the family cars...nothing yet. Went around to side and got a red dot! As the dots got higher on graph, I knew I was getting closer. In among the trees, fallen branches, and zillions of leaves, the dots went higher. Found it in less than 6 minutes!! Tonight a spring snowstorm 6-10 inches expected. I never would have found it without this fantastic app! It’s amazing!

I have been looking for my Fitbit for weeks now and I thought maby I should see if there are any find my fit bit apps and I was starting to get doubts because I had no clue where the Fitbit was so I had no idea if it would say put in the passcode in order to find it because there’s so many Fitbit in my house but somehow it tracked down mine in three minutes and little did I know it was in my kitchen. Highly recommend!

It took a few tries to get it to connect with my Fitbit but when it latched onto it and not other devices in my house, it took me right to it! I also found my iPad so I’ll keep FindMyFitbit. My only regret is I can’t name the different signals it’s picking up. So it said a bunch of numbers and I don’t know what device that is. But all the Apple and Fitbit devices had their proper names. Very cool!

Within a one hour period, I downloaded and tried at least 6 apps to help me find my Fitbit (lost without it). FindMyFitbit had the easiest interface and helped me locate it within 10 minutes of walking around my house. It addition to numeric proximity output in numbers, there is a nice moving graph that changed color to let you know how close you are.

For an hour I was trying to find my Fitbit thinking it was in my room at 5am. I started to panic wondering where it could possibly be if that’s the last place I remember taking it off. I downloaded an app which was no help so I then downloaded FindMyFitbit. The dots really helped me find the way & less than 5 minutes I found it in my living room almost devoured by the coach. I love FindMyFitbit!

I just miss placed my Fitbit that I spent a lot of money on. So I’m frantically searching around trying to find the same unsuccessfully. I then decided to see if there was a Find My Fitbit app in the market. Sure enough there was. I turned it on did not have to do anything started the search and led me right to where my Fitbit was. And to make this find even better yet FindMyFitbit is FREE!

I was worried FindMyFitbit wouldn’t work after reading mixed reviews. But I couldn’t find my watch anywhere and thought I’d try it. Used FindMyFitbit after trying others and it worked great. I thought my watch was in my room or closet somewhere but the signal increased as I walked into our kitchen.
FindMyFitbit doesn’t tell you much, but a strong signal is a turquoise color and a low signal is red.

I lost my fitbit about a week ago, and completely forgot where I misplaced it. I looked in all the places it could possibly be (at least I thought so). I downloaded FindMyFitbit and found it within 5 minutes. I knew it was in my house so it wasn't too hard to locate. The signal was strong in one corner but no where in sight so I went into the other room at that corner. Turns out it was there behind my christmas tree!
Once I found it, its battery died but FindMyFitbit still worked well! I highly recommend to anyone who lost their fitbit and knows for sure it's in their house.

Turn off all signals like Apple watches except the one device you are hunting with. Green and aqua mean you are very close. If it’s lost in my house or yard, I just follow the dots. Don’t get fooled by other signals. Remember to turn them off. Used FindMyFitbit 3 times and it led me to the room and nearest location in that room and found it. I hate losing things. This saved me lots of frustration. Great App!

It works for all Fitbits and even more. it’s awesome and very cool I could look for my Bluetooth if I lost it or my computer I don’t know if it works on phones maybe it doesn’t know but if you try it I’m pretty sure you will find it just make sure that it is charged otherwise it is not possible that you will find it

FindMyFitbit works if you have only one fitbit and it is the only device Bluetooth connected. As it simply searches for the signal of the last connected Bluetooth device, even a headset!

The user will need to disconnect all other Bluetooth connected devices and keeps only the lost device. For FindMyFitbit to understand! No instruction included in how to look for a specific device.

Finally an app tells you where the fitbit is! My only problem was my fitbit was in my couch. Not under a cushion, literally in the couch. I’m positive my experience with FindMyFitbit would’ve been better if my fitbit wasn’t hidden. If you’re wondering how I found my fitbit, I set an alarm so I could hear the buzzing and feel around. I advise you to use an alarm to make things easier! Overall FindMyFitbit is great.

It actually worked! My sister lost her fitbit and we found it within eleven minutes which without FindMyFitbit , would have taken about thirty or maybe even an hour. This is the best app for the job. So many other apps i downloaded didn't work so I highly recommend FindMyFitbit.

I found my Fitbit within minutes and I am so glad I bought FindMyFitbit!! It helped me find it in a field on our 5 acre property after cutting wood. The field was full of calf high grass and I thought I’d never find it. I highly recommend FindMyFitbit!! Cost of app lots cheaper than having to replace my Fitbit.

Never got very high in green color but told me it was in the room I was in or the one below. That helped immensely! It was teal when I found it but I’d say it worked just getting me close. I had spent a couple of hours at least and found it in 18 minutes using FindMyFitbit. Thank you!

I used it and found it but it took a while. I decided to do a test. So I set the Fitbit right next to my phone and it was getting mixed signals the first dot was the strongest door and said it had a strong signal but then it changed to weak signal and they were still parallel.

It took a bit of walking around, but using the info FindMyFitbit provided, I narrowed it down and did a serious search. It was under something. Without FindMyFitbit , it would have taken weeks to find. Worth the cost; thanks!
