I’ve never used an app that is as inconsistent as this one. One day I use it and it works and the next day I can’t open MaineEMSProtocolApp without it crashing. I’m not sure how in this day and age it is not a stable well put together app. It is easy enough to find a better app maker and find a way to put out a easy to use intuitive app that ALWAYS works. Or at least almost always. I understand there’s always going to be glitches and bugs but it takes forever to get fixed and never seems to fully work right.
Horrible app! If I could give it negative stars I would! Still not working. Can’t open protocols. When you try to, it says they aren’t downloaded and to go to previous page and refresh it. So glad Maine EMS forced us to switch to online protocols instead of the pocket ones when we can’t even use them.
Forget during a run, MaineEMSProtocolApp crashes and is unable to load anything while on strong, stable WiFi. I am unable to get a single protocol to open or load. Teaching people to rely on an app that doesn’t work is dangerous.
App does not work with Dark Mode
MaineEMSProtocolApp crashes when you open almost any protocol. It’s been this way for awhile and needs to get fixed!! Add a search feature. So you can quickly search the protocols.
Half of the protocol tabs crash MaineEMSProtocolApp as soon as you open them on current iOS. Not at all helpful if you need to reference something quickly while on a call.
I want it to work but I can’t get it to
Constantly crashing, always needs update when you open MaineEMSProtocolApp regardless of how many times you have updated it in the past. Now unable to open ANY protocol. Just says “protocol not downloaded” and advises to refresh and is unchanging no matter how many re-downloads and refreshes my service and myself have tried. Do not rely on MaineEMSProtocolApp.
App crashes and can’t be used on iPhone 14 pro running iOS 16.0.2
Our new protocols go into effect today and we can’t even use them on our phones!? This is absurd and unacceptable
It’s crashing on the IOS 16.0.3 Not all tabs, but anaphylaxis and half of cardiac tabs minimum.
The fix update for the new roll out is still missing the new meds in thee calculation tab. Please fix.

I love MaineEMSProtocolApp, but I cannot use it anymore because it is not updated to the 2024 protocols. PLEASE UPDATE FOR YOUR PROVIDERS.
If you are going to have “see Blue 3” in bold, the references should either be hyperlinked, or “Blue 3” needs to appear on the table of contents for Blue.

Please update the contacts for the hospitals in MaineEMSProtocolApp . Tired of going to an unfamiliar hospital and having to wait for the next available receptionist at the main entrance. Also update for 2018!!!
Please fix zoom settings when opening MaineEMSProtocolApp . Everything on the main screen became small/compressed after the iOS 11 update.
App updated yesterday on my iPhone and it was buggy. This morning it updated again and works great. Thank you Maine EMS!
Pediatric seizures: Pink 6 lists Midazolam dosing as 0.2 mg/kg IM and 0.1 mg/kg IV.
The drug calculator uses 0.3 mg/kg IM and 0.15 mg/kg IV for its calculations.
