You have to buy the upgraded version if you want to change the time of the reminder.
I wish I would’ve known before getting it.
I understand that the developers need to eat (get paid) but I would’ve definitely been more willing to buy BirthControlPillReminder if I would’ve just been offered the paid version upfront instead of being lured into downloading it and finding out that it works as a reminder but it reminds you Only when BirthControlPillReminder wants to remind you (at 9AM) and that you can’t change the time unless you pay(?!) please just make it so that the consumer knows they have to pay to use it. The fact that BirthControlPillReminder labeled as “free“ if not even the Most basic feature—of changing the time of the reminder—is available is misleading.

I’m in month three of BirthControlPillReminder and BirthControlPillReminder did not send me a reminder of when to put in my ring. When I finally discovered that I was late putting the ring back in, two days had passed. As a result, I had to spend money to get emergency contraception and to see the gynecologist. I expect my birth control apps to be reliable and consistent, and BirthControlPillReminder is neither. I do not recommend it.

Let me start by saying that I DID have my push notifications enabled and all settings correctly configured! However, BirthControlPillReminder never worked the way I needed it to: as a reminder to take my pill!!! I am a very forgetful person so a reminder is an absolute necessity. I could go in and mark my pill as taken, so that portion of BirthControlPillReminder worked, but it never reminded me. No alarm went off, my screen did not light up, and no banner even popped up on my screen if it was unlocked. I’ve tried tweaking the settings multiple times, but nothing helped. It only worked when it wanted to work and in the way it wanted to work, but this worthless app didn’t help me at all. Bummer...it has such a high rating. Hoping another app will actually work for me.

I love the set up of BirthControlPillReminder. It’s easy, simple, and doesn’t have all that extra, useless crap that most have. The problem I’m having with it though is that it won’t set to the specific days I take my pills. I did the custom setting and it still puts too many days even though that’s how many active pills I take and the placebo pills would start on a random day even though I’ve put Sunday as the day they start. When I first had it, it worked fine and it had all the right days, so I don’t know what changed. I don’t really need a reminder, I could use an alarm on my phone for that, but I just like to have everything mapped out for me so I can see what’s going on.

App is very easy to use and I like the look of it, but there have been multiple days when my reminder hasn’t gone off! That is the entire purpose of having BirthControlPillReminder . I’m supposed to take my pill at the same time everyday, and have missed my time because a reminder never went off. I’m removing BirthControlPillReminder and trying something else.

I like BirthControlPillReminder alot and when I got BirthControlPillReminder the pill color matched right up with my pills but then when I got a new phone all the pills changed to pink can you please change it was 3 weeks were pink and the last week was brown it made to much easier to tell when the last week was now they all look the same when I look at my app thanks

Honestly kinda useless doesn't remind you for sugar pills and doesn’t remind you as well as an actual alarm will it just gives you two 10 second reminders and doesn’t work if your sound isn’t turned on 1/10

On calendar so if you want to put a note on the date that you want so you can see the notes

When I downloaded BirthControlPillReminder it was awesome iPhone so I just love it thank you very much easier time is much easier thank you so much you’re a lifesaver

BirthControlPillReminder is simple, easy, and unobtrusive. It gives you a reminder ding at the time of “ring in/out”, and that’s it. There’s a great calendar visualization that’s easy to understand at a glance. It also reminds you to order your refills. A great little tracker!

Notifications pop up every morning and you mark the day when you took a pill. Easy no use

BirthControlPillReminder has been so helpful, so far I haven’t missed a day in two months before I was on and off my birth control due to my forgetfulness. Absolutely worth it!!

So I haven’t gotten pregnant yet because BirthControlPillReminder annoys the hell out of you until you take it. Has lots of options for different birth control methods. I paid the one time fee of a dollar to unlock more stuff

I have been using BirthControlPillReminder for years, never lets me down. Simple, and to the point. Sometimes the fancy apps are worse because they get too complex, this gives you everything you need in an easy and simple format.

I got the full version of BirthControlPillReminder and it makes it super easy to remember to take my pill. I love how it lets you create your own message for a reminder and I could have fun with it. Overall I love BirthControlPillReminder for tracking birth control and admire it for being easy to use, I would highly recommend it.

I’ve been taking birth control pills for well over a year now and I’ve forgotten and messed up so many times. I got BirthControlPillReminder two months ago and it works like a charm! It’s very user friendly and actually does what it claims to do, the reminders are so helpful! I definitely recommend this to anyone who is forgetful like me.

I always used to just use an alarm on my phone as my reminder. But that failed me so many times — I’d snooze it and forget about, accidentally change alarms, etc. This is so much better! I like that the notification remains on your phone until you mark the pill as taken. Definitely would recommend!

MyPill stopped working with my Apple Watch a few months ago and it was driving me nuts. Out of habit and being busy, I’d take my pill and do the pill taken on the watch - my phone (in range) would not mark it and I had missed pill showing for that day.
BirthControlPillReminder is simple and sweet, it works with my watch. Tested both tonight after updating watch iOS. Glad this one works!

I have always struggled with remembering to take my birth control and BirthControlPillReminder has changed that! It has a reminder feature that reminds me every day at the time I set it to take my pill. It has a feature to log if you’ve taken it and to snooze the reminder for 20 minutes. By far the best app on my phone! Highly recommend

I really like BirthControlPillReminder because it’s simple and easy to use. I never had to pay for the upgrade because the free version was good enough. If you want to lock BirthControlPillReminder just put a lock on your phone and you never have to worry about it.

I loved BirthControlPillReminder and it worked perfectly for months. It doesnt have a lot of fancy features which I love because I just need it to remind me to remove my Nuvaring and it stopped reminding me and Ive checked several times all of the setting and its all correct. It’s not only me and it just alarms me in random moments.

BirthControlPillReminder has really helped me remember to take my pill and has saved me from forgetting a causing a big problem!

BirthControlPillReminder is the best because it lets you customize the number of days you have the ring in and out. So helpful, took me forever to find an app that does this.

Pretty good app for free. No glitches, annoying ads, or hard set up. Also pretty discrete for an app icon with a pill in front. Easy to use and easy to change!

When I wake up I have a little text that tells me to take the pill so I don’t miss it which is great! I highly recommend BirthControlPillReminder if your like me and are very forgetful.
