Givelify Mobile Giving App Reviews

I’ve used the recurring feature to pay my tithes for the last few years. Givelify gets the job done but when compared to other money sending apps it lacks a few features...
1. When using the recurring feature there are no notifications when your credit card expires. Your gifts will just stop being sent.
2. You can’t update the expiration date of your credit card on file, you must add a new card.
3. Your wallet only shows the last 4 digits of your cards on file. If you have multiple cards on file and you add a new card to replace an expired card, you will see 2 cards ending with XXXX (i.e. 1234). No way to determine which card is the old card (so you can delete it) and which card is the new card.
4. For certain functions, Givelify seems to switch between Givelify and the website. Each time it does this I get a pop up message asking me if I want to open the page in the this app app. This can be annoying at times.
5. The wallet only shows 2 options; Make Preferred and Delete. There is no option to update/add your credit card from the wallet. The only way to update your credit card is when you’re in the process of making a donation.

On the plus side...
I like having a history of my gifts. This is great because some churches don’t provide annual gifting statements if you’re not a member.
Givelify is especially great for the tech savvy generation who are accustomed to managing their business affairs online.

I have not been able to edit my profile to include my name. Therefore, my church had difficulty determining who was giving. They said that where it profiled my name or picture it only presented as “MasterCard “. They couldn’t tell who was giving. Fortunately, they were able send me an email inquiry as to my identity. I was asked to go back in and insert my name. However, I have not been able to figure out how to do it. So, my this app account still only displays my MasterCard number. Therefore, I cannot give your platform a positive rating. If I am not able to edit my account so that my name appears in the appropriate field, I will have to revert back to my old way of giving, by check.

Every Sunday I’d rush to Sunday school about and halfway there I realize I didn’t stop at ATM I had no money for Sunday school, no offering for benevolent, and no tithes. I was embarrassed because I put so many other things before that: getting groceries, putting gas in my car. I forget the most important thing the one thing that God asked me to do was remember him and give him 10%.

I know the benefits of giving because the church has done so many things not only for my family but for our community because people are walking in faith and trusting God in their giving.

I love this app because it takes the math out of it. I made the commitment at the beginning of the year to set up a reoccurring gift and then I just walk in faith that after that gift is given every other week that I still have enough to take care of the things that I need to take care of.

God has never failed me and he never well. I am so grateful for this tool and I don’t have to feel ashamed because I forgot to stop at the ATM thank the Lord. Let God do the math.

I've been using this app for a few years and can't say enough great things about it. Givelify has made significant changes over the years. It's so easy to use and the most convenient way to give! I love that you can give wherever you are located. The recurring giving is also very helpful. I appreciate the ability to give both to my church and charity organizations! Above all, tracking my giving for tax purposes is one of my most favorite feature. I don't have to wait for my church or nonprofit to send me a giving summary for the year. I can file my taxes as soon as I'm ready! Grateful my church uses it. Keep up the good work this app!

Thank you to the developers of such a fantastic app. Now I can keep track of my giving and to whom I give. With the many issues of this Pandemic, in-person fellowshipping was not possible, however my giving and offering did not miss a beat. Also with the number of other Churches coming on board, I am able to share an offering to other Ministries…(in real time)!! The yearly totals you provide are also great to have. You have done the accounting for us. Thank you again and may God continue to bless you all abundantly!!

this app makes Giving EASY! Givelify is simple to use and effective. I can give with simplicity and effortlessly.

I am a this app Team Leader at a church and I throughly enjoy the customer service that this app offers. Our church has a this app Success Coach by the name of Faith. She is amazing to work with. She gives ideas and updates to help our this app giving grow. Her personality and attitude sets her apart and makes giving easy on the back end. Her knowledge and willingness to serve is awesome.

I would recommend any church or nonprofit to come on board with this app. They do a phenomenal job from the admin side and the user side of things. I absolutely love this app.

It’s very easy, convenient and hassle free! It, for whatever reason uses my alias Facebook name. Ive tried changing it to my REAL name but it doesn’t let me. I don’t think I should have to go through the hassles to make my name right!!! It’s still using the wrong name. I hate having to tell people it’s ME, and not what’s showing up. Any simple suggestions??

As a giver, I love using the cause feature. I can find orgs to support, discover nonprofits in my neighborhood and city, and add my favorites to a list.

As an org leader, I live that people can find us who have never heard of our work! We are one of several social justice organizations that have been started in the past few years. By being a giving partner on this app, we are letting our community have access to our mission by donating to us and other organizations that fight for the same cause! 💙

He is so good to me I cannot keep from God what he has given to me and I want Praise Chapel to grow to grow in people who love the Lord to grow in his children who have talents in music to bring us worshipers and those that play instruments so our church can grow and have a Music ministry so we can take the youth from Santa Fe Springs and bring them to the lord we thank you father for every soul that has entered our church bless them save them in no other way than what you can do we thank you we praise you in Jesus name

Once you set up your account nothing could be simpler. They have a list of churches that use givify and if your church is not on the list they will add it in so the next time you give it will just be a touch of a button. There is a box for tithe or offering or you can just add in what the donation is for. And you can print out an immediate receipt that is very clear for IRS purposes or just for your own records. I highly recommend Givelify.

I have been using this app app for three years. It has been an excellent way to donate and give my tithes while also proving a record of all my donations. Today was first time I could not login to my Mobile app. I tried resetting my password and reinstalling the mobile app but keep getting error message. “Undefined index: error_description”

this app Support proved excellent in response, service and resolution. The support staff resolved my problem within 3 hours... on a Sunday afternoon.

I love Givelify it has made giving so much easier for me and my family. I love giving and tithing is truly important to me and my family. We are often away from our home church do to work travel obligations and recently relocating. However, I am still able to give no matter where I am in the world and I really enjoy the convince of this application. I even us it’s when I’m in service as well most weeks. I love this application and I certainly recommend it to others.

We started using this app because we wanted a simple way for our congregation to give that was simple enough for our elderly members who are not tech savvy to use. I found that not only does our older more seasoned members appreciate it but our GenX and millennial population are crazy about Givelify as well. I tried ALL of the others and this app is by far the best out there. THANK YOU to whoever created this amazing way for members and friends to support our ministry.

I absolutely love this app. I have the ability to give to different ministries as I am led to do and it’s all able to be kept up with and track with this one app. I have been using Givelify for 3yrs strong and I have never had any issues or concerns with my end of the year statements that they make available to file with your taxes. I would absolutely recommend Givelify for charities and individuals to use as well. Thank you this app for all that you do to make giving easier. 🔥🙏🏽🌈

I am currently unemployed so I am unable to Tithe My 10% at this current time. For now. AMEN. I LOVE how Givelify allows you to give under other categories and keeps track of your donation. I can ONLY speak for myself when I say it brings My Heart Joy when I see the record it keeps of My giving when I am in attendance. Another plus is that you can give from anywhere with just a tap of your finger. GREAT JOB CRC in deciding to incorporate Givelify. Praying that I am able to give Cheerfully one day. In Jesus name. Back when we worshipped in person, my pastor would recommend this app as a way to submit your offering electronically without having to leave your pew. I would walk to the offering box at the pulpit anyway more out of habit than fear of new tech. Then came COVID & virtual church. Now I’m a this app fan. And with what I save in gas & wear and tear on my car, I give more to my church than ever before. this app makes it easy. Thanks. I guess you could say, I’m a believer now.

I used this app today for the first time. I started on the web, which prompted me to confirm my email and then I downloaded Givelify as suggested in the email. So as not to restart, I finished on the web. The benefit of using the web was the ability to split what the total gift was for. In contrast, Givelify does not allow for any itemization. Overall, it was a breeze to use and I am excited about the seed it allowed me to plant.

this app is the BEST app ever! It makes giving to your local church and other non profit organizations fast and easy. I love being able to give 24/7. this app is a creative genius in that it allows me to always put God FIRST!!! When my payroll hits on Friday, I use this app right then to give my tithe and offering. I don’t have wait to go to church on Sunday. I don’t spend any money until after I’ve taken care of my tithe and offering via this app!

First of all, Givelify always takes you to the internet to process everything that you're attempting to do. When I send money to cash-app, I remain in Givelify . When I send money through venmo, I remain in Givelify . When I use, or try to use this app; it forces me to go outside of Givelify and then back again. It's so annoying. I had some from happen to my account and I had to set up a new debit card within Givelify and I've been attempting to add a method of payment for almost a month. Givelify forces me out as always and it still won't add the card. Givelify is TERRIBLE. I wish my church didn't use it because I won't be using it anymore.

Cannot seem to enter an exact amount...ie, $30 or $300; would like to give amounts not listed as choices. In additional, app provides no feature to print a receipt; this is absolutely necessary for income tax purposes.

Updated Review:Thanks for clarifying the features of this application. Givelify is great — Givelify is one the most useful during the current pandemic. Thanks again for the excellent application.

The new look on Givelify is nice, easier and user friendly. However, I don’t like not being able to see the comments I had typed when looking at my history. Many of our donations are of the same amount and as senior adults, being able to see the notes helped us to know if we paid something for that month. Can you please add that back in? Or if I’m just missing it somehow, let me know where to look for them. Thank You.

I just started my new charity HTJ Sprinkle of Blessings. I’ve thought of all donation sights such as go fund me to PayPal ..... then I remembered I needed an app that allows people to give recurring to claim us on their taxes or even give out connivence. Then I realized why not use Givelify my church uses and it was easy to setup!!! Not to mention Matt reached out to me and helped me add a logo , banner, and description.( he’s my go to guy) his service was amazing !!! I feel so welcomed

I am beyond thrilled that someone thought up this wonderful convenient way to give and support their local assembly and or charity! It’s simply and very easy to use for all ages and non intimidating even for the beginner or not so tech savvy. I am thankful I was charged no fee to use Givelify and it didn’t have ads or get to upsell me on anything. I will be using Givelify in the future for all my giving! Thank you this app!!

This is a very nice app easy to use. I like how it it lets you know how much you gave and the category you gave to. BUT it won't allow you to make any changes to your profile. Our church asked that we put our giving number next to our name since we have a such a large church. Other than that it's a great. When that is fixed will come back and give 5 stars.

I don’t usually carry cash on me and use checks less often than that. this app makes giving so easy and stress free. I’m able to keep up with my contributions on Givelify and can print out the receipts each time I give or a history of my giving at the end of each year. Thanks for making such a wonderful app.

In the digital age where paper money and checks are not readily available (direct deposits/primary money exchange is debit card) being able to give on-line is an excellent way to go. Your app was easy to download & set up. You did a great job of making it “user-friendly “ to those of us whose friends are NOT techie gurus but are senior citizens ;-)

It’s so much easier to give God His first with Givelify. Givelify has allowed me to stay abreast on my giving. I travel and sometimes sickness may occur. Instead of trying to make sure I have money set aside for next Sunday, I can give weekly without being present. It also helps me with my budget. ✝️

My life have changed because God chosen this Ministry for my journey. I’m so humbled my mindset has changed I met my wife through this Ministry. Pastor Jones is a awesome teacher the wisdom knowledge God has given him is amazing is what I need the discipline accountability he holds you too that I’m grateful. I was a traditional check writer for giving my Tithes and Offerings to my House of Worship. My church encouraged use of Givelify and I was able to set it up with help in 5 minutes and seeing my giving in real time-Awesome.
I especially like that I can give at any time 24/7 -not just during Worship services.
