It doesn't work

First of all, the app always takes you to the internet to process everything that you're attempting to do. When I send money to cash-app, I remain in the app. When I send money through venmo, I remain in the app. When I use, or try to use givelify; it forces me to go outside of the app and then back again. It's so annoying. I had some from happen to my account and I had to set up a new debit card within the app and I've been attempting to add a method of payment for almost a month. The app forces me out as always and it still won't add the card. This app is TERRIBLE. I wish my church didn't use it because I won't be using it anymore.

✝️ Good App but Lacks Features ✝️

I’ve used the recurring feature to pay my tithes for the last few years. The app gets the job done but when compared to other money sending apps it lacks a few features... 1. When using the recurring feature there are no notifications when your credit card expires. Your gifts will just stop being sent. 2. You can’t update the expiration date of your credit card on file, you must add a new card. 3. Your wallet only shows the last 4 digits of your cards on file. If you have multiple cards on file and you add a new card to replace an expired card, you will see 2 cards ending with XXXX (i.e. 1234). No way to determine which card is the old card (so you can delete it) and which card is the new card. 4. For certain functions, the app seems to switch between the app and the website. Each time it does this I get a pop up message asking me if I want to open the page in the Givelify app. This can be annoying at times. 5. The wallet only shows 2 options; Make Preferred and Delete. There is no option to update/add your credit card from the wallet. The only way to update your credit card is when you’re in the process of making a donation. On the plus side... I like having a history of my gifts. This is great because some churches don’t provide annual gifting statements if you’re not a member. The app is especially great for the tech savvy generation who are accustomed to managing their business affairs online.

I have not been able to edit my profile to include my name. Therefore, my church had difficulty determining who was giving. They said that where it profiled my name or picture it only presented as “MasterCard “. They couldn’t tell who was giving. Fortunately, they were able send me an email inquiry as to my identity. I was asked to go back in and insert my name. However, I have not been able to figure out how to do it. So, my Givelify account still only displays my MasterCard number. Therefore, I cannot give your platform a positive rating. If I am not able to edit my account so that my name appears in the appropriate field, I will have to revert back to my old way of giving, by check.
