I have had to reset my phone, and now my calendar is not showing anything. I can't get it to synch with google, what do I do?

I just got a new iPhone 14. The Calendars app installed with all of my data, but whenever I try to edit an event, the screen freezes. I can't click delete or cancel or any of the other options, I have to restart the phone to view the calendar again.
