Forced into HausMoney a few months ago by the restaurant I work for and it has been one issue after another, with the biggest issue being they hold your money hostage. I haven’t been able to transfer any money out to my bank account for a week now. The support is pretty much non-existent, just to make everything more difficult. Absolutely hate HausMoney and everything about it.

Shady company that is siphoning arbitrage from low pay workers under the guise of “credit building” services. Takes capital from working class people and strong arms them into dependency. Should be better legislation to prevent the existence of snakes like these.

Horrible app. The restaurant I work for uses HausMoney and it has taken forever to receive money. You shouldn’t launch an app if it isn’t working properly have waited almost two weeks for tips and still haven’t received them. If your company is going to use HausMoney.. don’t nothing but dissatisfied.

HausMoney is absolutely horrible. It is constantly down and that makes it so you are unable to transfer money to a real bank account for days on end. It’s causes nothing but trouble.

Customer service is a nightmare. They take forever to get back to you and it’s nearly impossible to contact a real person.

This is the worst app I have ever worked with. Cannot access money, can’t transfer money, not easy to communicate with them to get help. Going on 5 days and still cannot get my money from a shift worked a week ago. If you are a business looking at options - do yourself a favor and do not partner with his App.

No option to put a new pin in, can’t use the card at all. I’m also guessing they have about five customer support agents. Money doesn’t pay out til the next day, often times until like 12-3 because they don’t really know what they’re doing. Actually considering leaving my job just because we have to go through HausMoney.

I have consistent issues with this company. this app hasn’t let me transfer my money to my personal bank account for days now, although it’s not the first time this has happened. My coworkers are experiencing the same. HausMoney in itself is also very glitchy and hard to use. The company is constantly making changes and is extremely disorganized. Seems weird to me. There’s a reason they have all 1 star reviews.

I have been calling and emailing customer service, it’s going on 2 weeks now and I’ve yet to receive a reply or a solution to the problem. They suspended my card for no transom so I can’t even access to money in my account. Right now I’m live of $11 I got in cash tip all while bills are due tomorrow. I’m running out of groceries and my kids need to eat. If I had know this would’ve happened I would’ve opted for something esle.

My restaurant uses this concept to distribute daily tips this app decided to
change cards during the holidays making it impossible to transfer your money, can’t use the card some places and takes 5-7 days to transfer to your bank account. Apparently it helps with credit but if you can’t use your money right away to pay other bills/other credits then you’ll be paying late fees regardless. I’m very disappointed. My whole management team has been hearing it daily from employees. This is not okay, GET IT TOGETHER

HausMoney is horrible i have had a number of issues with them not being paid out , not being able to withdrawl my money and not even being able to get assistance with accessing my own funds please never use HausMoney if your employer uses this run .the support team was not support I have sent over 15 emails and the automated bot responses with someone will be with you shortly and nobody ever comes to help when you call the number you. Have to leave a voicemail and they still don’t return your call just horrible .

This is the worst company I’ve ever had to work with. Unfortunately, the restaurant I work for uses this garbage to distribute tips made. It took me ages to get my external account connected so that I can actually access and transfer my money into my everyday bank account. When I finally got it connected, the transfer fails every single time. So, I just have money sitting in this account that I can’t access. HausMoney itself is trash, and then you can’t even get in touch with customer service to help. DO NOT use this company or app. Nothing but problems and a pain to deal with.

We’ve had Tiphaus and this app/ upwardli and the new app is worse than the last one ! I can’t even use my card at certain places, I can’t withdraw money. I can’t send money to my own bank account. My pin that I set up an app also doesn’t work so that’s the main reason why I can’t really do anything with this card. I am incredibly frustrated with HausMoney and with this company. I’ve gotten an apology emails, but it doesn’t really seem like they’re fixing the issue just kind of apologizing, I understand that it’s new and they’re trying to fix everything. However, I would like the problem resolved.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if you read reviews before downloading, do NOT get HausMoney or money service. Some people aren’t getting their card, I got my card but never got a pin to actually use it, nothing, and I mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING on HausMoney works correctly, this company charged my bank account for items I never authorized, this company lost a deposit to my bank worth hundreds of dollars, and they don’t actually have anyone in an office anywhere that will help you when you struggle. Which you will struggle. I’ve filed several claims, left several emails, and left several voicemails and haven’t received a single communication back from the company. They are a scam and are only here to steal your money.

Terribly glitchy. Talking to my 50+ coworkers across two locations every single person is having major issues with them. Adding pending periods before you can transfer tips to your bank just so they force you to use their awful card instead. Most people can’t link a bank account, have issues setting pins with the card, or have to wait absurd times to even be ABLE to transfer money- not including the wait period for the transfer itself. I thought I was lucky having the least amount of issues, but now after adding in my login info for the umpteenth time, I’ve been sitting on a frozen screen for 10 minutes. I NEVER write reviews but this one deserves it. Horrible app and terrible customer service.. starting to believe customer service doesn’t exist, actually. I HAVE BILLS TO PAY, and I can’t use my hard earned money because it’s taking over 2 weeks for my money to transfer to my bank account. Even if I try to use the this app card it rarely works. Before they “upgraded” to this janky credit card situation everyone was forced into I had no problems with money transfers. I understand a new company up and running, however, to not even be there for your customers when they are in NEED OF ASSISTANCE is absolutely unacceptable. If I am ever looking for another job that uses this system I will turn it down for this reason alone. Do better.

Seriously horrible method of being paid. Direct electronic deposits are 75 cents a shift and the whole purpose of this ridiculous app is to help build credit incrementally. If you work 5 days a week, that comes out to the same annual fee as an AMEX card with not even a sliver of the benefits. If you opt for the free version, it will take all of 5 business days for you to receive your money and you will have constant issues with them even depositing the cash into your account after a shift. You are constantly having to babysit this broken system to ensure you are being paid correctly, they apparently have no one answering phones on customer support, and you have to send dozens of follow up emails to get someone to work with you. If you have an employer who is telling you that you are being paid through this system, run!! They are too cheap to use a legitimate payroll and could care less if you get paid out. I don’t see any benefit of HausMoney, god forbid you forget a password, you can’t even work through a link, you have to email someone in support. What a joke.

No customer support. No access to my money that remains “Pending “ for days on end. Then once you can use it add more days to receive it. They rolled out a new update on Dec 2024, which is a disaster that still isn’t even partially fixed.

Transaction history doesn’t work, when you try to transfer it shows error messages constantly, and it takes longer now at 5-7 days to transfer as to what it was on the last app that we were forced to use at 3-5 days to transfer.

So me personally, I haven’t had too much issues with HausMoney outside of my physical card not being sent to my address, but I got that taken care of in a swift manner. The CEO of the company actually took the time out of her day to call me and my coworkers separately in order to get all of our problems solved. It’s a new app and it’s gonna take some time. Have patience and know that there is someone out there who genuinely cares about the little man, happy holidays.

Does not work. Can’t open without it glitching out, on a iPhone 15. Hopefully my restaurant gets rid of this program.
