I downloaded this as a way to pay for a single transaction because the business’s card readers were temporarily offline. I ended up having a significant amount of funds left over in my this app account that I was never going to end up using since barely anyone else uses this app as a payment method. I reached out to support to see if there was any way to get my remaining balance back, and I was told that refunds are not an option and I can either spend the money at another business that accepts this app (again, nobody does), or I could use the remaining balance to purchase a gift card through NanoKard . I then tried to purchase a gift card like I was told I could through NanoKard , and continued to get an error message that read “Failed to create gift card.” I again reached out to support looking for any possible way that I can get this money back. I was then told that NanoKard was not created primarily for purchasing gift cards and and I would have to spend the funds at a business that accepts this app since refunds are not an option. This is an incredibly frustrating experience and talking to support was an absolute waste of my time. They were extremely unhelpful and failed to provide any type of solution to the very obvious flaws in this app’s system. If NanoKard can’t perform one of its main, advertised functions, then I should be able to get my money back or be offered some type of solution to this issue.
