Couldn’t easily find on their website what states they operate in. They let me sign up and provide my SSN just to tell me at the end they aren’t in my state yet. It’s a very bad user experience to collect something as personal as a SSN before confirming if you’re even able to provide a service.

So I’ve been borrowing from this one for a bit, and have paid back faithfully. Recently, I was approved but had accidentally locked my debit card. The advance was stopped because of that. I have tried Bank of America, Varo, Current, BankMobile Vibe accounts and none of my income can be verified. I get paid weekly. So it’s very frustrating not being approved for something knowing I can pay it back. I get denied based off the message stating “we’re sorry we are unable to approve your ... My husband and I both used MoneyApp. We did loans until we were both eligible for the $250. It was great, until we tried to redone our loan after at least 15 times and got denied…

I’d also recommend reaching to your own state Attorney General or consumer protection division too. If enough of us raise our concerns, maybe we can get MoneyApp removed or force them to respond to our concerns.

I can say that I once had faith in MoneyApp but I no longer do. When first discovering MoneyApp and downloading it, I was able to receive a cash advance of $100 instantly. The representative explained that there is a cool-off period but if nothing has changed on my end, I should had been able to advance again in a few more days. Understood. But miraculously, literally within minutes after receiving the email, I was able to advance again $100 from MoneyApp . I paid this advance back even BEFORE the due date. Let's just say, I have been a faithful customer. Now, it has been an entire week, going into week two and I am unable to advance anything from MoneyApp. None of my bank information has changed. I don't understand how companies treat faithful/dependable customers this way. I am unsure if the system has a glitch or I am truly being denied but if this is the case, Money App will be losing a customer.

The whole point in apps like this is helping obtain funds when you’re low on money. If you have a low balance in your bank account they won’t approve you just base off that. Still no money, and the latest auto payback date is tomorrow, and I still have not heard from customer support. It has been a week, and I do not want to have money taken out of my account when I never received the advance in the first place. Support takes way too long to get back to you, and they need to be able to address issues like this timely, especially when it involves auto payback.

I applied, tried four times. My bank was connected it said the first three times it was too close my pay date as I was getting paid in a couple of days. Then it said your approved. This can not be reversed. What a waste of time and sharing my personal information. Your customer support is horrible.

I try to sign up and it says I have an account. I try to sign in and it says I don’t. This was a great app for the first bit and now they just refuse to help anyone with the problems their app has. They will just ignore you.

Don’t waste time downloading, they obtain your information then never approve anyone. Then after signing up you get spam emails and text messages.

I used MoneyApp 1 time and I try to sign in and it cycles through my address and SSN multiple times. It never lets me through any other screen. Just goes back and fourth to my address and my social to confirm them and it won’t do anything else. Very poor experience with MoneyApp.
