Here are some helpful workarounds that should work whenever Anki app keeps crashing or doesn't work as expected on your iPhone 14, 13,12,10,8,7,6, SE,XS,XR.

How to fix Anki app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Anki app on iPhone
Update Anki app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Anki iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Anki on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Anki network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, Goto "Settings" » "General" » "Reset" » "Reset Network Settings".
2. Enter your device passcode. Then confirm "Reset Network Settings".

Follow these steps to resolve intermittent Anki app issues:

Force Stop the Anki App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click Anki app. » click "Force Stop".

Update Anki to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Anki App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "Anki app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch Anki.

Fix Anki unable to contact server/ Anki internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click Anki » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got Anki » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Anki on android.
