My app won’t let me highlight things and takes 30 minutes to load the page I am trying to read. This has been the WORST app for my textbook and I haven’t even been able to actually read my textbook hardly because this app won’t freaking let me.

I access Cengage materials through the Canvas mobile app. Everything works as expected except for the flashcards. The flashcards do not load correctly. The only load partially and I need to scroll the screen to read the entire content of the card. I am using an android phone to access the content.

How to fix Cengage app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Cengage app on iPhone
Update Cengage app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Cengage iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Cengage on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Cengage network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Cengage Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Cengage not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Cengage App
1. On android, goto Settings » Cengage » click [Force Stop]

Update Cengage to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Cengage App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Cengage » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Cengage.

Fix Cengage unable to contact server/ Cengage internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Cengage » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Cengage » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Cengage
