Superwhisper frequently crashes while processing audio recordings. Upon reopening, it displays “No voice found in recording” in Recordings. Initially I thought it happened when Superwhisper was backgrounded, but it seems to happen sometimes when Superwhisper remains in the foreground for the entire recording.

I subscribed and downloaded the ultra model. I can’t get it consistently make notes. It records the audio , then says “No voice found in recording”, and I can’t even play the recording back. When I try to Process again, Superwhisper crashes. Sometimes it will work but I’ve only gotten it to work a few times. Terrible experience. I haven’t tried any other models than Ultra but I have a 16 Pro - it should work fine. When it does work, it’s pretty good but unfortunately that hasn’t been very often.

The voice to text transcription doesn’t always work. When I try to reprocess it says no voice found even though I can play back the voice. If they can perfect this workflow then this is a game changer app.

I use this app on my Mac every day, many times a day. It’s fantastic. I’d pay for it twice, if I had to.

The mobile app currently has little value for me. I love the idea, but more than half of the time is doesn’t provide any AI result for “email” or “note” or any other prompt. It only provides the transcription.

I've been using this app iOS daily now for writing journal. Without a vocabulary function makes it very challenging. Having to edit many of the common words again and again each time. This is a oversight that should be addressed. Otherwise it’s a great app. I have another AI tool similar, and I paid for both. this app while output is good, manual corrections of words makes me thinking to cancel the subscription …

A very lacking feature is being able to import my previous recorded audio into something where I can make a transcript of it, that was disappointing but aside from that Superwhisper works amazingly!

I see the shortcut available in my keyboard in Gmail, Facebook, and Instagram. But I can’t get it to show in Messages or Outlook for texts and emails. This will be very helpful to have it right there. Thx

Pick thia app up if you are prone to talking at length but want to get it all down on paper so an AI can edit it for your content!

With SW I can collect my thoughts while walking. Also, SW picks up your voice at a very low whisper. Superwhisper is great!

On iOS, I particularly appreciate the seamless integration with Shortcuts and the specialized keyboard, which enhances Superwhisper ’s ease of use across various applications. These additions make dictation more fluid and accessible, demonstrating thoughtful design that considers real-world usage.

That said, I do wish the iOS app had the same range of advanced Speech-to-Text options as the macOS version. Specifically, I’d love to see the ability to incorporate the OpenAI Whisper STT model directly within the mobile app. Perhaps this feature exists, and I’m just not seeing it, but expanding model selection on iOS would be a fantastic improvement and bring Superwhisper to full parity across platforms.

Overall, this app is a superb tool that has genuinely streamlined my workflow. The accuracy, functionality, and integration make it a must-have for anyone looking to boost productivity through voice dictation. Highly recommended! 11/10! Superwhisper raises the bar and turns it up to 11!

Life-changing app. I can finally talk to my computer! I tried all the other AI diction apps out there, and this one is the best by far.

For some reason, I'm unable to update my old, 3 star review where I was impressed but didn't have a phone that could take advantage of all the cool features, and my transcriptions were crapping out after two minutes.

I'm now writing a new review having just purchased an iPhone Pro 13. if you have the right hardware, I can't overstate how good Superwhisper is. I think the only thing that's missing (for someone who uses transcription multiple times a day at some length) is the absence of a pause button. For longer material there is often the need to take a moment to collect your thoughts, which, if there's a noisy background can make for some very weird transcriptions. (At the moment I am using WhisperBoard for longer stuff, but I would love to use this instead.)
