5 Most reported problems 😔💔
I'm just about ready to ditch Superwhisper after being a subscriber for over two years now. I've filed trouble tickets on the repeated bugs that hamper my transcribing notes for my students. I now get some nonsense strings featuring the terms 'microsoft schemas" in them about 25-30% of every time I use Superwhisper. I'm now about even between typing myself and transcribing because the bugs repeat 2-3 times with every appearance, causing me to just write my own notes. I had really desultory follow-up from a tech who gave me nonsensical directions for capturing my history (with the bugs in all their glory), which I've already captured and sent to tech support at least three times already. Hoping to find something better than this shit!
I keep getting garbage in my dictations, as in this sterling example: "Urn;schemas-microsoft-com:office;smarttags place urn;schemas-microsoft-com;office;smarttags" Seems like some corruption where the app encodes bits of metadata, rather than the transcribed audio file.
App frequently crashes while processing audio recordings

The app frequently crashes while processing audio recordings. Upon reopening, it displays “No voice found in recording” in Recordings. Initially I thought it happened when the app was backgrounded, but it seems to happen sometimes when the app remains in the foreground for the entire recording.

I subscribed and downloaded the ultra model. I can’t get it consistently make notes. It records the audio , then says “No voice found in recording”, and I can’t even play the recording back. When I try to Process again, the app crashes. Sometimes it will work but I’ve only gotten it to work a few times. Terrible experience. I haven’t tried any other models than Ultra but I have a 16 Pro - it should work fine. When it does work, it’s pretty good but unfortunately that hasn’t been very often.
Great idea but buggy

The voice to text transcription doesn’t always work. When I try to reprocess it says no voice found even though I can play back the voice. If they can perfect this workflow then this is a game changer app.
