Absolutely ridiculous. The translate is wrong. The voice over isn’t even close. And the “AI” is so off it’s ridiculous. Deleting and sticking with Duolingo to actually learn the language

When i try to sign into Lipdub, it just keeps loading and i cannot get access to the actual app.

I opened Lipdub and it’s literally unusable because it wouldn’t connect to servers 😡😡😡

It’s a cool app, doesn’t take long at all for translation. Although I thought the baby voice would make your voice cuter not a bunch of gibberish.

this app after a couple instances of toying around with it has shown to be an interesting application which allows any video to be placed in a different language as described in the description. Lipdub works fine, however, the length of the videos could be increased.

Still needs work but an amazing app so far. The speed of the video jumps and the lip sync is sometimes off.

This is not useful only for serious stuff, as it is super funny to see you speaking fluently other languages.
One awesome thing is that you can speak your native language instead of English only!
Of course it is still on its early stages but this is a very good impression of the near future!

The first thing I noticed is that when I record a video in English, it adds/retains my American accent to the other languages. For example, my French pronunciation sounds very midwesterner and not at all Parisian. Moreover, on some of the results, I sounded French Canadian. A simple test of counting in Persian from 1-5 got the number three wrong! The pronunciation sounds like Urdu, or Pashtun and definitely not modern Tehrani Persian - where did you source the language? Dutch, takes the “KH” sound and makes it “SH”…

Had pre-ordered Lipdub ahead of its launch, and so excited to get access. I like the language translation options (have always wanted to speak Italian!), but the other options like Pirate and Baby are super fun. Highly recommend!

I tried the Tagalog option and checked it with my mom and she said it was saying something about bananas and a girl friend which was funnier than the thing I was actually saying. Good app

I just got Lipdub made a two videos and makes me look kind of funny I’ve friend of mine that was speaks Brazilian Portuguese. She said it was funny to look at because of my lips the way they were moving you can tell I understand this lip syncing but I don’t like it. And I don’t want to pay for this, so I am exiting out of this.. I thought it would be a little bit realistic almost, but not give it a chance that’s it.

I waited 3 months for Lipdub and when I got it i was disappointed because it doesn’t work on people with braces, it doesn’t look like your saying it, and it doesn’t sound like you and for most videos it doesn’t say what your saying in the original video

I downloaded it because an ad seemed cool, and I believed it wasn’t going to work well, and to my surprise, it works very well! I like to see there are constant updates!

One of the most creative apps I’ve seen in a while, the voice is spot on ( lips are a bit off) but overall a extremely good app.

Not going to lie, it's creepy how the AI sounds like me in different languages, but I am impressed with it. It's cool to see how AI has come so far in 2023. Hopefully, Lipdub will stay free, but we will see in the future.

I signed up for Lipdub, was put on the waiting list, and finally got to download Lipdub . I unfortunately used the wrong email address to register with Lipdub and as can result, I was put on a NEW waiting list.

How can I de-register and register again with the correct email address?

It doesn’t preserve original video visual appearance. It changes the contrast and saturation and lowers the quality. Should he fixed soon! Thanks

This technology is insane, so glad I woke up early to be one of the first users to access it!

Tried it, loved it, I can speak German better, but there’s a lot of ads for me. Maybe it’s my phone but it’s overall a great app.

I’ve been on “the waiting list” for over a week.

Imagine being in another country, lost, needing help…. Well just you hold on. Lipdub can solve all your problems is 10-12 weeks. 🙄

I was able to translate a few short videos but on my last one, Lipdub froze during generation and I can’t find a way to cancel it. There should be a way to cancel the translation or put in a timeout if it takes too long

You can playing with that but you can not use it for serious purposes. I hope you guys will fix the issues 👌🏻🙏

Lipdub is slow to translate and cannot be used for any real applications within the professional setting. It took over two minutes to translate into Spanish. It is easier to use Google translate and mess up the translation rather than wait endlessly on Lipdub.

You get out on a week to two week waiting list and once you get notified that it’s ready, Lipdub doesn’t work. It tells you that there’s a server issue and never works. This is the weirdest app I’ve ever tried using. I’ve never had to get out on a waiting list. 😒

I rarely leave five star reviews, but Lipdub completely deserves it. Lip-syncing and AI mouth motions are extremely realistic and some of the best I’ve seen. Processing time is only a minute or so for a 15-second clip, which is impressive. I have found that it translates really well on the first take but you can also regenerate translations in case you weren’t happy with previous attempts. The gen-z and baby translations are absolutely hilarious. I’m so happy with Lipdub and plan on using it on a regular basis.

A friend posted a video of him speaking in Japanese and I didn't understand what I was watching. It sounded exactly like him and his lips were moving too, but he doesn't speak Japanese. Found out that it was this app and can't believe this technology exists or that Lipdub is free. Insane!

Hello, Lipdub is wonderful but you removed Serbian language. I would strongly suggest putting that back on as many countries in the balkans use it. Bosnia , croatia , Montenegro

It doesn’t let you create an account to sign up with, instead it just give you 2 options, or you use your Google account or your Apple account, no thank you! I’m already gambling with my personal information on using apple and google, why I will give it to another party?
The day you allow me to create an account that is not linked up to my personal email account because you demand it, that day and only that day I will use your app.
