Transfer from Grand Videoke

Paid close to $600 for my machine. Just got an update that I now need to switch over to TJSmartApp but I’m stuck on the photo part. It doesn’t take a photo of anything nor does it give me any option to do anything else. Awful user experience from both companies. Was excited to use for my holiday family party tomorrow. What a waste of money.

I usually steer clear of giving negative reviews out of principle, but let's just say TJSmartApp makes a dumpster fire look like a cozy bonfire. Genuinely my worst experience on any app, ever. Which is a shame since the hardware is great
Stupid app

Stupid app why grand videoke transfer their app. In this useless app. They should remain the old app it is easy to connect rather than TJSmartApp that is complicated and asking for personal hotspot if you have a wifi and your using an ipad.
Can’t buy codes

I live in the US. TJSmartApp doesn’t let me buy codes to update my machine. It tells me I have to call the nearest TJ service centers in the Philippines to buy codes. I spent a lot on codes for my machine and now I can’t update
I hate the updated version as I couldn’t pair my phone to the device.

Useless App

I never successfully connect TJSmartApp ever since they moved from GV. Tried multiple devices. 600$ for a useless app. Doesnt recommend. Useless!

New app won’t pair with my almost $600 unit. So I can’t update the unit nor does the USB manual update work. This is uncool! Nakakahiya ang ganitong business.
Not compatible for purchases in North America

I live in North America, and making purchases for song updates is impossible. TJSmartApp will direct you to a site that tells you to visit the nearest service center to purchase a code, all of which is in the Philippines. Not sure why they couldn’t build out a purchase in-app function to provide codes to update song lists. My karaoke machine that advertised ease of use for updating songs via an app was all a lie.
Terrible Customer Service

Bought this hoping I could regularly update new songs. That was with the old GV App. This new app allows you to “download” the packs but you are unable to transfer to your Grand Videoke without a buyer code that you have to either purchase in the Philippines or call one of their service locations there.
Terrible move on Grand Videoke end and more unfortunate for customers in the US looking to update their systems. Wish I knew this before spending $600 on my system…

I want to change my last review after 2 weeks .. 1st time I use this apps to link to my karaoke it didn’t work but today after 2 weeks try it again I deleted the apps and reinstalled it finally it set up to my karaoke and work , so this is much better apps I suppose.. so I apologize for my 1st review and retract my review with a 5star ratings now. Thank u

In addition to the "SONG BOOK", which contains a comprehensive list of all songs, you can also access lists categorized by song attributes such as RS, Multiplex, and Chorus.
You can choose your preferred songs and categorize them as favorites, then you can easily acesss them using the "FAVORITE SONGS" MENU.
The "FUN" menu enables you to display your own custom message signs on the TJ karaoke screen.
