PSA: Customer service rep sent me to SCAMMERS!!!!

Called customer service today. I had issues with paying on Sheetz and the website. The rep gave me another number to call. She read it to me several times, so I know for a fact I wrote the number down right. She also tells me that this is the only department that can take payment over the phone. I call the number and it’s an Indian lady. No automated system, no music. Just more Indian ppl in the background. The lady immediately asks for my debit card number to look up my account. I tell her my debit card isn’t linked to my account. She starts to say something else and the call ends. I call back and we have the same conversation as before. She tells me she cannot help me without the debit card number. I start questioning her and the call ends. I call this app customer service back tell them what happened. They tell me that is not the right number and they can never take payment over the phone. So have scammers started working for big companies now? Are their employees getting paid by scammers to send customers to the scammers thinking they are talking to the same company? (Hope you could follow that, but I don’t know how else to say it.) This is crazy. I hope this app actually looks into this and figures out who sent me to scammers. They said they would, but who knows if they really will. Just wanted to warn y’all. If you call and there is not music or automated system, it’s a scam!

Never works anymore!!

I used to use Sheetz all the time and it worked great. Now, it won’t let me login. I’ve reset my password, deleted and reinstalled Sheetz and everything (several times!). I’ve made sure that my phone has saved it, I’ve set it up with my own password I’ve tried everything. And it gives me a login failed error message. Every. Single. Time! Before it stopped working all together, it started getting wonky and, when I’d try to pay for my order through Sheetz , it lost my credit card info. I don’t know if Apple Pay works through it or not, yet.
I love me some this app, but Sheetz is for the birds. I’ve had a couple of times that I would have ordered through Sheetz and planned on running in to pick up my order but didn’t because of the issues with it. I was on a tight time crunch so I ended up ordering from a chicken chain whose app still works for me. Bummer. Please fix Sheetz , ASAP!

Still a Lousy app

Every time I try to use an offer I load it onto my card, pick up the item, give the card and item to the attendant, they ring it up and tell me the price - it’s always full retail. Then we just stare at each other. From what they say the discounted price doesn’t show until they “tender” the sale, which they don’t do until I pay. I tried it their way once and my credit card was charged the full price, they had to cancel the sale and ring it up again.

A month ago I had to replace the credit card assigned to my account. I deleted the old one then went to add the new one, I get a message that something is wrong and to call support, which I did. It’s been a month now and I still can’t add the card onto Sheetz . Card is good, information is good, Sheetz and website just doesn’t allow me to add it. Haven’t heard from support yet.

Mostly great, but needs a few bugs worked out

Ordering is easy, and I like being able to just walk in and pick up my order without having to deal with anyone...when it works. 9/10 times when I say I want to pay now, it “processes” the payment and then still says I haven’t paid when I get to the counter. At that point I’m either having to show my bank app to an employee who thinks I’m lying, or occasionally it hasn’t actually gone through at all and I’m stuck looking stupid and having to pay at the counter. Fix that issue and it’s a great app.

It needs an overhaul

I have been trying to use Sheetz for a while now, and it has been nothing but problems. My gift cards that I got and put into Sheetz do not work, and have even stopped working in person, whether this is coincidence or because I entered them in Sheetz , I don’t know. Whenever I try to refresh the page and see if the cards work, it’s shows an error saying it can’t refresh the gift cards.
Sheetz is also WAY more complicated than it needs to be. It is such an ordeal to try and pay ahead of time only to say that I still need to pay at the register.
They need to simplify and rework Sheetz , because it would drastically improve my day if I can actually order and pay on the phone and pick it up on my way to work.

Good but would like some changes

I like being able to order from home and my food be ready pick up by the time I get there. Works well for the most part. My biggest complaint is that you don’t know if something is missing from the menu in Sheetz or if the store is out of stock of a menu item. Would be nice if it did what the tablets do in the store which is grey out what is on the menu but unavailable at that time.

Now that the points are working again for me

Can you do me a favor Add in a built in receipt keeper I am constantly having to ask for receipts if they are to busy I don’t get receipts and Sheetz should be able to keep a digital receipt honestly It’s not rocket science this is computer science. Also need to update the gift card system
To be able to work at or pay at the gas pumps. I have really bad feet and having to park walk in pay for gas Walk back out is sometimes more then I can physically bear pain wise. Thank you.

Unreliable

buggiest app on my phone for sure. when it’s working, it’s really convenient. however it seems like every new update totally breaks it. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled several times now to combat it not saving my account information or just not letting me log in at all. I go on my lunch break for work to grab this app often, and whether or not I have enough time to eat is determined by Sheetz and if it wants to work or not. today I will not have enough time because it told me my login credentials are wrong. I opted to reset my password, and the password it had on record is the one I was just entering. uninstalled and reinstalled; same issue. unreliable.

So many bugs and issues

I got Sheetz because I have a short lunch period at work and cannot afford to wait in line.
Most days, I get a message that says there is a network connection error. So I close out and hop back in and try to place my order again, and am told I can’t order because I submitted too many orders in the last minute.
Now, I’ve lost ALL my points because it kicked me out of my signed in status, and refuses to recognize my email address. I cannot sign back in. I tried to make a new account, but it won’t let me because my email is already in use. I won’t be supporting Sheetz or the store with as much business as I used to. This is ridiculous.

This update is good, yet looks bad/basic

This most recent update modified the Layout of Sheetz , the ordering process (which looks great)! However, it’s LOST ALL IF ITS “this app” look and replaced it with something akin to a Wordpress store layout
1) STOP ASKING FOR MY LOCATION. I blocked Sheetz from tracking my location and now your update forced my phone to ping me requesting to reverse that change.
2) the location menu locks far better!
3) the new layout looks far better. It’s faster and flows better, but you stripped all its color and made it a crappy white and black layout. I know this is a fun app, but it needs something. At least with previous versions, it had a button look with splashes of red.

Super useful for contactless shopping

In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, the this app app has become indispensable in my daily work, allowing me to have food made & paid for by the time I’m ready to pick it up between work shifts. The Shcan & Go features makes shopping for items not in Sheetz a breeze, and I can avoid lines or coming into contact with potential transmission surfaces. Finally, keeping track of my offers and redeeming rewards is a snap with Sheetz .

Great app but few bugs currently

It’s amazing when it works. But today it will no longer let me order with “pay in store” option. Only redirects me to payment methods of using cards for pay now pick up. It’s nice being able to use the pay in store option when I just want to pay cash for pick up and not have to wait around for ordering in store.

No Longer Works

I loved Sheetz and used it often. Recently EVERY time I’ve tried to submit an order I get the following error message: Order Failed: Too many orders submitted from your browser in the last minute. I’ve reported the issue through the website and they suggested I clear my cache/history, delete Sheetz then reload it, done all of that and it still doesn’t work. I’m missing out on rewards and deals because of this issue. Hope this gets fixed or else I’ll just have to delete Sheetz , which is sad because I did enjoy using it when it worked.

Sheetz corrected issue, app now great

Originally I downloaded app and could not load a payment type and had issues with app freezing. this app reached out and resolved issue by giving me the ability to reset my PIN. Now it works perfectly and I highly recommend reaching out to them if you’re having an issue. They will take care of it. Thank you!!

I expected more from Sheetz

Love the store, but Sheetz doesn’t meet my expectations at all. Instead of giving you a number for your MTO order like in store ordering would, the order feature has them print your entire name on your bag. Great for creepy people to look you up by, thanks for that. There is also no functionality in Sheetz to report that something was wrong with an order. I came out missing two items, with no idea how to report that, as no one ever answers the phone either. Wholly disappointing.

I love Sheetz

The thing I love most about this app is not the food or the service or even the hour in the bathroom after eating their food, it’s definitely Sheetz . Sheetz not only will delete your whole order after you click a simple back button out of your cart to add something, but it will also glitch and lock up whenever you decide to try an use your payment method in app! I’ve never used such an intuitive app that will keep me guessing on whether it’ll work or not! This is the best fun I’ve had since before COVID!

I like the app when it works...

I go to this app regularly because it’s convenient on my way back from work. I honestly think their rewards program is great and saves me money in the long run instead of not getting rewards from another gas station where I would be getting the same things. All that is great if only the consistently worked. I shouldn’t have to get lucky just to use reward points. Sometimes I don’t fill up on gas everyday but it would be nice to know on the days I do I have the opportunity to save a little. I can’t do that if Sheetz doesn’t work.

Reward items can’t be un-redeemed

I like Sheetz and I shop at this app at least 3 times a week. Clean stores and good products.
My complaint is that I cannot “un-redeem” an item once it is selected in Rewards. I accidentally selected a coffee mug which I will never use. I asked the clerk at the store and he confirmed the selected item could not be returned in Sheetz . I threw away this app points that I could have redeemed for something useful.
Lesson learned.

Bugs With New Design

Sheetz is great when it works. It used to be very reliable. Lately I’ve been getting randomly logged off, I’m unable to prepay for my order, I’ve accidentally submitted multiple orders (to pay in-store), and Sheetz just forgot my credit card info and logged me out which prompted this review.

If and when the bugs are fixed, it’s an easy 5-star app.

Fuel of bugs

I opened it up, and clicked the sign up button. Right off the keyboard was acting really weird, won’t go down right,and I filled out my information. I clicked submit. The password box, that I have filled out, lights up red. I click on it, and it’s acting all weird again, but sometimes it comes up with an option to use a phone-generated password. Acts all weird again, but finally I get the keyboard off the screen and punch submit. Congratulations, I am right back where I was before, a red line around the password box. So I try clicking on the i next to the box. The keyboard pops up. I hit it again, the microphone and the giphy symbols disappear from the keyboard. I try typing, but the keyboard seems like it’s unplugged. So I hit the i again, and the microphone symbols come back, but I still can’t type. For all Sheetz advertises they do, they should at least get it working

Love sheetz.. the app is awful

I didn’t eat lunch yesterday.. because of this utterly woeful app. I placed an entire order after connecting my this app card to Sheetz. Got through the whole order and it asked if I wanted to pay through Sheetz or pay in store. I tapped pay in store and poof it was gone.. so thinking that the order had gone through I waited 10 mins for lunch to start and walked over to the store. The order was never received so the lady told me that I was more than welcome to place the order there... while there were 15 others standing there waiting on their meals. I would have never had my order in time to eat it. I’m diabetic and have hypoglycemic episodes quite often, and Sheetz made me miss lunch yesterday. Please don’t download this.

Inaccurate Prices

Whenever I try to add a mocha or a coffee, it says it’s $2.00 on the menu. Awesome. I love cheap coffee. So I go through the process of filling out their little thing to customize it, not choosing any of the options that raise the price. I’m on a tight budget so I have to be careful. I add it and it magically becomes $2.79.... what?? When in hades did that happen??!? If the coffee is going to be $2.79 in the bag then just put that price on the menu! Not that hard! Putting $2 on the menu is false advertising to me when it’s going to ring up as a different price in the bag. Just... why??? Fix your menu please!!

Lost customer

As this app expands and attempts to move into other markets/services they are loosing touch with the values and services in which it was founded.
Until recently I’ve supported the business fully. The last couple weeks of issues (at different locations) has caused me to take my business elsewhere. I encourage others feeling the same way to try speedway, getgo’s, and wawa’s as a better alternative. Food, points, and service is much more appealing elsewhere since I’ve looked for better travel accommodations.
APP needs Apple Pay and better navigation through selections as well as what locations are truck locations. Should scrap Sheetz altogether and start new, first by finding a new developer.

Latest version is easy to use and order

In the past like early 2018 and prior I had to die in placing order through app. But things have changed now. I can open and choose what you like to eat, add to cart and checkout. Only thing missing is not having options to see recent orders that you can access on their website. That can make life easier if we want to reorder our favorite customized order. Hope they can work out and make even more user friendly.

App used to be decent?

I’m a this app fan for over half my life and have spent a fair amount of money there over the past decade and a half. When I first started using Sheetz , it was great! It synced with my MTO card and worked perfectly. Sure it could be a bit more user friendly (Apple Pay anyone??), but the convenience of ordering food from it was fantastic.

With this last update, Sheetz took a dump. It logged me out (so my points and rewards are all gone!!), won’t log me back in and will not let me register a new account. It will not even retrieve my password. It’s like I wasn’t even a customer for 15 years. Please do something about this.

Online order kiosk

Perhaps you could set a "register" by the pick up counter so online customers could check themselves out. I order my lunch everyday and use my phone for scanning my order and payment. This could free up the other registers and staff for other customers that need them and in turn opening up the floor space for more customers.

Love the app!

I love Sheetz because I always forget my this app card and being an employee of this app Sheetz is amazing! I can add my rewards and everything because now we are getting rid of the actual cards itself we are gonna start using Sheetz now which I love a lot! I can place my order on time and when I go to pay is till get my employee discount and everything :)

Not sure what all the fuss is about

Looking at reviews I see a lot of people complaining and a lot of it boils down to customers being lazy. I've used Sheetz time after time, granted some things could be done better such as card integration mobile pay etc they aren't really a necessity as people would most likely have their wallets on them anyways when they go to pick up the food.

Overall I enjoy using Sheetz :)

Impossible now for me to use Contact Us

It’s worked before. Now it says invalid characters. I checked, corrected by viewing what is legit. Tried again. Still says invalid. I give up!!! Maybe it’s this app way of not wanting to hear? Using my iPhone 6s Plus and most recent this app update.
Also, any chance that prospective this app customers can just look at your menu without having to order online or driving to a this app? That would be nice. Please list what you consider a sandwich and what constitutes a sub. If we added wrong item to Card, what happens?

Better than Speedy Rewards

I used to use Speedy Rewards but not anymore. The this app app is sweet! So many more options and rewards. I also really like how the screen brightens when you open your card too. Slick! No bugs on my iPhone 6s. Get new phones and quit complaining people. Try another gas station app and you'll turn right back around to use Sheetz. this app is da bomb.

You are losing your base!

I have loved this app since I first discovered it in my area. I even worked for this app part time nearly 20 years ago. Back then I became a loyal customer because of the value you placed on quality and the customer. Today I stopped at a nearby store for a cup of coffee. It used to be that this app was to always have fresh coffee available no matter the time of day. Not this trip however. This trip there was not a drop available, fresh nor otherwise. I find myself wishing there were a few Wawa’s nearby. Very sad.

Glitch

There a glitch on Sheetz , with reward, if you have 250 point and use it in hot dog and keep pressing reward the give u reward every press u do and only for 250 they give me 8 reward for free two hot dog, point look like negative but then refresh app the point back to 0 but reward still said 8, i thinks that’s very bad for ur company, already call about this but lady who attend me said the already know.

Makes ordering much more convenient

Sheetz makes ordering food at this app much more convenient, because you can order ahead and let them prepare your MTO food while you’re on your way. Bonus points for accepting cash at the checkout, even for a mobile order.

Sheetz should have an iPad version though. It makes me sad that I can’t browse their MTO items on a nice, big screen.
