Couldn’t be happier

Raleys looks good and works beautifully. I’m loving shopping with app and using pick up service. I can scroll through recent orders to pick anything or search for any item. I found I have tried occasional new or “special” things (eg root beer) probably more so than if I’d I felt rushed trying to shop during lunch break. I’m supporting a local store and the employees who work there, a store employee is paid to fill my cart, there is no price markup or fee if over $100 (easy if you stock up every few weeks) or a nominal $6? A real person texts you or calls to discuss. Same day pick up. Love it. Trying not to feel guilty for this time saver but I just don’t see any downside. Only less than perfect experience was lack of signage on where to park or pickup my first time but that is a local store issue and someone moving signs without respecting big pic (wouldn’t be good for older person trying this for first time) and I’ll drop note to mgr. Thank you Bel Air / Raley’s.

Love the app and the store!

I’m a huge fan of Raley’s. Sure, it can be pricier than other store but in terms of quality and service, it’s unbeatable. Their app is the same way. It’s really during the pandemic that I started using their e-Cart service and I’ve only had minor issues. Now that the holiday season is over you can usually get a pick up time a few hours out, so I can order at lunch and pick up after work.

They contact you ahead of time to let you know what’s out of stock. Unlike the delivery services they don’t shop along with you and you cannot make additions after the order is placed. But that’s understandable, considering there are only a handful of people doing the shopping. Maybe the could offer the option in the future but it’s not a deal breaker sort of thing.

Raley’s also has a point system but again, I don’t mind them tracking my purchases because I only get offers for things I buy. Definitely recommend it to everyone.

Outstanding service

I have been using your service for a couple years now I think. It helps me immensely as I am disabled and have a daughter that is disabled. Your shoppers have all been extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. I have been very happy with the foods they need to pick out in produce and meat departments, a concern for this type of service. I’ve never been disappointed. I love that they text me with any questions or substitutions. I am now living in Kelseyville but travel down to pick up my groceries or have my ex-husband bring them up to me. I’ve tried the Safeway delivery service up here and it’s bad! I’ve been a happy customer of this app since 1989, since we first moved to Rohnert Park! I will continue to shop there until you open a store up here some day!

Issues with modifying order and view options

There are parts of Raleys I like such the pictures of the item and the menus. Especially the purchased items list.

Big problem with modifying order. Sometimes I need to add one more item. Click modify and get a oops. Click cancel and have to login again then I can click modify. Once I add the item and go to check out and “the place order” button is not available. I have to click on the modify tip button then save. then click on edit my address button change the time of delivery save. Sometimes this will work . This is very frustrating. Sometimes I end up canceling the whole order then start over.
One thing I would especially like changed is the view in regards to being able to turn my tablet to side view. The phone use is difficult as the print is too small. Using the tablet makes it big enough to read. My tablet case will prop my tablet wide view not long view.

Website and app needs work

I like the layout and the ease of using Raleys /website, however it has bugs. Sometimes you cannot search from various Departments without having to backtrack to the opening page. For instance, I might be in the produce section and remember I needed dish soap. It won’t let me enter anything other than what might be in that department. I then have to exit out to All Departments again to search. Very frustrating. Also, I’m pretty certain not all products are listed on Raleys . Again, frustrating because I prefer Raley’s be my one-stop-shop and that I don’t have to go to one or two other competitors and pay their service fees just to get a few things delivered. Overall I’m happy with this app quality, pricing, etc. just wish it had a bigger weekly sales page 😊

Good app ... not great

I use Raleys weekly to order my groceries. Love that this app offers delivery and I always get great service.

However, Raleys is clunky. Checking the boxes next to items often sends you to the item, instead of adding or removing from cart. Search function is getting better, but needs work. The notes section is hard to find. The most annoying thing is having to login every time. The “remember me” button seems to do... nothing. If that ONE thing got fixed, my rating would go to a 4.

To get to a 5 star rating: I’m waiting for a more “virtual” shopping experience — like google street view for the grocery store — being able to see a picture of the produce aisle or meat or deli/bakery section and getting to tap on anything that looks appealing.

A COVID lifesaver

I have been using this process since the pandemic started. We are in our 70’s .. both of us have been battling cancer within the last two years along with the addition of radiation and chemo and I ended up with only one lung. Needless to say, we are absolutely not willing to take the risk of being exposed needlessly to someone with CODID-19. This service has been a Godsend for us. We have limited exposure and still have some sense of independence. While it was a little rocky in the beginning (probably due to an overwhelming popularity), it has smoothed out considerably with each subsequent order. Thank you for providing this service.

Really convenient

I love the convenience of Raleys but could use some improvements....when I click on my special offers, I wish I could add those items directly to my cart instead of having to type in the search bar for the item and add to cart and then have to go back to special offers to remember the next item and search for it, etc. Would really help save a lot of time. Also, it would be nice if the discounts would show up in your cart before checking out so you can see that they were applied. It’s not until you’re about to pay that you are able to see a discount applied and it never seems like the total discounts were applied so maybe an itemized list of how much you saved for each item would be nice to know it really worked.

1st time delivery

I was excited about trying out your delivery service as I am without a car today. I started out on my laptop because it is easier for me to navigate that instead of my phone. I became very frustrated because your site does not seem to be working properly today. I tried multiple times to sign in (been a member for a long time) but nothing would happen when I clicked. I went to all different areas of your site that have sign-ins, but none of them worked. It was also hard to find delivery verses pick up. Couldn’t get it to work so went to my phone. Had problems putting in my payment info (kept freezing up), so much so I lost my time slot. The whole process took over 30 minutes to order 3 items. I could have rode my bike! Anyway, finally got it done and looking forward to the delivery.

Poorly executed

Update 7/2/21: Gave Raleys another try and had fewer issues. However, after the last update it has been stuck on the “still cooking” screen every time I try to open it. Had to delete it again. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Update 5/1/18: I logged in tonight to see if the reviews had improved to download Raleys . Only one good review from someone who took the trouble to people for complaining. Seriously, if Raleys worked, people wouldn’t complain. I just log into the web site rather than deal with an app that is unreliable. Previous comments covered most of the problems with Raleys. I would expect better from a company like Raley's. 👎🏻 I deleted it and reinstalled this weekend, hoping it had improved but it still needs a lot of improvement. All my accepted items are not on the list and many other issues.

On Line Shopping

I was given the option of choosing some brand name frozen potatoes, when I did, the system said there was no such choice. I also wish the system would permit me to keep a card on file so pmt is taken care of before I arrive - I pull up, you load my groceries and I’m gone - like at Walmart. I appreciate you offering this way to shop, but I think you should keep auditing it and upgrading it. I would hate for it to go away as it’s so much easier than walking into the store, wondering how the store will be arranged today. Thank you. Raleys is not user friendly. You need to get a focus group of end users together to help you redesign it.

Online shopping

I enjoy and appreciate the safety and convenience of on line shopping! I would love it if I could compose a list and if a store pickup time isn’t soon enough or a product is unavailable, I could easily switch the list to another Raley’s location. It’s takes a long time to recreate the list on another location’s site. Please let me know if there’s a way to do that that I’m unaware of. I really like that the Main St., Watsonville, gives you a list when a product is substituted and by what product and if it is unavailable.
I would give it 5 stars if I could easily switch
lists from location to location.

TO ALL PREGNANT MAMAS!!

Raley’s ecart pick up is THE best. First off, I love that their app shows you prices of things they carry unlike Safeway’s app.
Second, you can do quick reorders of things you have already purchased so you don’t have to search and add each thing individually again or save it in a list. There is a previously purchased section to add anything you missed.
Third, being able to pick up my groceries around my schedule when I was pregnant with my third baby was a life (and feet) saver! I have already recommended it to all my family and friends and now I highly recommended it to you!

Web Searches

The service from the shoppers is good - they pick unexpired items, good produce and call to discuss substitutions. The website needs improvement on searches and making a note on individual items. Example: I searched “low fat ice cream”, it returned only one flavor and one brand, huh?! When I searched by brand, violá, many flavors, options. I wanted to request green bananas, no way to add a comment - Mercato allows such comments. I started online shopping due to Covid, however, I plan to continue to use it because I like the convenience. My guess is others feel the same way, so invest in improving the website.

More Info Needed

Raleys is easy to use. Sometimes searches don’t find exactly what you’re looking for if you don’t know the products exact name, but usually trying different search time allows one to find what they are looking for. Biggest problem is lacking product info! Nutrition labels and product ingredients are not available, just small low quality images. This makes it difficult to shop with dietary restrictions. When you are in store shopping, all of this info is at your fingertips. App needs to be updated to include this information to make online shopping a viable replacement for going to the store.

The best store in our area! The manager, Rob Kiehlmeier, is always professional, helpful and his kindness extends above and beyond. My experience with eCart has been Exceptional! Their best eCart person is Karen Packard! She is amazing and has and still does lift a heavy load off my shoulders. She is the best person at this app to do the job. Karen helped me when I couldn’t lift anything due to a car accident. She refused to let me help her. She always asked me how I was feeling etc. She is a this app superstar! Karen’s customer service should be recognized as the best part of this eCart program! this app should use Karen’s skills to help train others. Excellent service!

Lacks information

Previous version had information about products, usually a picture of the nutrition and ingredients side panel, things like calories, fat content, etc...
This version works better for sorting and ordering, and the shopping categories like “non-GMO” are useful, I still don’t have access to the kind of specific product information that the previous version provided. Such information is NEEDED to shop, especially if you want someone to try a something they haven’t purchased before.

Used to be 5 stars

Over the past couple of years they’ve gotten sloppy about putting items in their appropriate categories. A lot of stuff just goes in the “other” category (i.e. sliced bread, rolls, other bread), or sometimes a similar category (pizza in the frozen dinners section, when there is a frozen pizza section), or just someplace crazy (why are things like gifilte fish, matzo, and other traditionally Jewish food in the seasonal section all year long?). Also, it seems like most new foods don’t have their ingredients or nutritional info input anymore.
It used to be very well organized, but it has slipped.

Great App

I love using Raleys as it keeps me track with my spending. However, I think Raleys could improve especially the pick up part. Developers should check out a major store that starts with a W, as their app is super easy and awesome pick up, no calling, no texting when your time comes to pick up you simply check in, and they track where you are so your groceries are ready to go when you arrive. When you arrive, Raleys will ask which parking number you are in and color of car in and out within 5min....
I love Raley’s food selection as you always have what I need and great produce!

Excellent Service

We have utilized this service for three years. Had not given it much though until the Coronavirus invaded! I feel safe using this wonderful service and doubt if I will will ever go back to in store shopping except for quick things when we do feel completely safe! I am totally spoiled….
Please keep our Granite Bay, CA store, the employees are the best! I actually do miss some of them and hope they are still there when we can all go back to ‘normal’!

Great Convenience

I am currently disabled and not able to drive so Raleys. Has made it possible for me to be much more independent. I used to shop at Raley’s every week and Raleys. Has allowed me to continue my routine, even though I am unable to visit the store in person. When I return to full health, I intend to continue use of Raleys and their delivery service to save me some time. It has truly improved my life and been a tremendous help to me while recuperating but I see enormous value for able-bodied customers as well. THANK YOU Raley’s!

Good but freezes, doesn’t lose info

It’s easy to navigate but freezes when trying to do certain functions in certain screens. No back arrow or “x” (close page) is available so the only option is to completely close and reopen Raleys . None of the info entered to that point is lost so it’s not devastating, only annoying.

I LOVE the “previous purchased” and “on sale” sections. I shopped in half the time or faster because of those sections.

Ecart has removed the dread in grocery shopping and the delivery option is a game changer. 100% worth the money.

Life Saver

As a single mom I can only be in so many places at once. I used to use e-cart to save time on my grocery shopping which was great but this service is by far the best. I can get deliveries within hours of ordering so if I have unexpected needs during my already chaotic week I can actually pull it off without panicking. I’m saving countless valuable hours doing my grocery shopping online. Thank you Raley’s for this service. One tip for improvement... sync my Alexa grocery list to my account.

Awful.

Awful. This is worse than before. Fix it. Every time I need to put in a e-cart order app isn’t functioning. What the freaking point??? This is an awful app! Safeway seems to be my choice now! this app get your act together because you will start to lose customers...

Update: App is still horrible. I have reinstalled many times. I keep losing my cart. But it seems this app doesn’t care. Found out that WalMarts app works better and the prices are cheaper!

Raley’s ECart App

Raleys is great and easy. HOWEVER - the store personal are hit or miss on the actual items being delivered. Produce and bakery items have not been of the best quality and several times multiple items have been paid for but not delivered. Store staff is ALWAYS very willing to correct these issues, I just wish they’d stop happening at all. Corporate surveys are useless - never once has anyone acknowledged my over payment or their under delivery.

Love ECart!!

My wife and I love ECart because it makes grocery shopping easy and fun! During the week we crest our list and add to cart. We schedule our pick up when it is convenient for our active lifestyle with an infant and pick up our groceries on the way home. The Antelope Store has an amazing staff which picks the best fruits and vegetables for our family! We will continue using ECart and love seeing the personalized coupons for our future purchases!

Not bad, and it would be even better if...

Raleys is not bad but there are certain quirks that you have to get used to using. For instance, it doesn’t automatically load my personalized offers so you need to go in and select the offers before they are available to you. Additionally, every time I check out it brings up my address and make me save it again before I can continue. It used to allow me to select it without saving it again, which I miss. Overall, it works and I am use to some of the features.

The app only works when you're in the rayles shopping center. Doesn't work at home or elsewhere. The computer works, webpage works. I just go to email to looks at the coupon.
