I got rid of the app, and here's why... a few weeks ago I was down Harrisburg way visiting friends and we stopped to grab Wendy's on the way home. I took out my phone, put Location to ON, and placed an order on the app to pick up. Now I did not know that particular Wendy's address but I assumed the app would work like the McDonald's app and automatically pinpoint where I was for my order. I put in for a free Daves Double and a small order of fries, ordering all on the phone so I wouldn't have to be in line to place my order. When I completed it, I waited, and I waited, and I waited... It turned out my order went right to the LAST Wendy's I had used the app at, and that was over an hour away from where I was. I called that Wendy's and explained what happened and that I was too far away to come get it. They understood, BUT they were unable to give me a refund. Instead, I'd have to call the phone number associated with the app and talk to them. I calmly said I wouldn't bother - it was only $3-4 that I lost... but I said because of this, I was removing the app, for good. Afterwards I left a very disappointing 1-Star review on the Google App Store, ending it with my saying "McDonald's will be getting my business from now own." As much as I love Wendy's Dave's burgers, this was a VERY HUGE letdown.
Save yourselves the pain and anger... If you have the app and you're having issues with it, remove it ASAP. If you don't have it and were considering it, DON'T do it! Go with McDonald's, Burger King, Dairy Queen or even taco bell's app. Leave Wendy's to the wayside.
