I have changed phones from Samsung S8 to iPhone 11 I don’t know if this the trouble but each time I go to open SmartBank it says error 0014 occurs try back later, so annoying I have bills coming out my account like to check throughout the day on my funds.

I left this bank solely on how trash the mobile app is. It randomly doesn’t let you sign in with your fingerprint or Face ID. You can’t reset your password from SmartBank and you have to call and wait on customer support just to reset it. Charges stay pending for days and even weeks. The features are barebones and SmartBank looks like it was made in 2005. Great bank if you don’t need or want mobile banking but if you do, it’s a deal breaker.

SmartBank should give me a pie chart/breakdown on where my money is being spent the most. As well as give me the option to roll my change over into my savings account and charge my checking account in whole dollar amount. Plus I it need to stop glitching on iPhones and stop making me look at none new updates every time I login.

I worked at ‘this app’ before it became this app and honestly, SmartBank is one of the multiple reasons I’m slowly moving everything to another local bank. It never works. It’ll log you out after you’ve logged in just because. It’s just so full of bugs that it’s a hassle anymore. For such a large bank, you’d think their app would be a little more efficient.

It’s sad that SmartBank consistently fails to perform properly especially when managing and being able to see one’s money balance is so critical. I typically do not write reviews but SmartBank alone makes me want to switch banks all together. Today I don’t even have the option to log in. It’s buggy, lags, and overall is the most unreliable app on my phone.

I like the bank itself but the online banking and app could use some work. Every couple of months it won’t let me log in, even when I know for a fact I’m using the correct password. Then I have to call and reset it. It’s really a pain in the rear. Fix your crap, this app!

Each time I try to deposit a check the loading wheel just spins and then an error message comes up after a while.

For starters, the most annoying mishap is that the Facial Recognition rarely works and you have to manually log in. Secondly, you get asked all the time for verification even though you logged on with your credentials. Lastly, when you transfer money it asks again for your password even though you are already logged in. not a very efficient app so far.

Firstly, facial recognition login works rarely. Regularly the entire app goes down and is completely inaccessible. Not very efficient for banking 🙄
Lastly, be aware that making a transfer online COULD land you with overdraft charges. No one can explain to you how or why it did it this time….so be careful with account to account transfers.

Allows the basics to be done in a mobile app. Find myself logging in from the laptop if I really need something.

Needs fingerprint/facial recognition added. I use unique passwords for the various sites. With technology as it is, I should not have to type my complex password each time I want in SmartBank . Hope this is in dev.

So far I have not been able to get the facial recognition to work. SmartBank never seems to remember the password after the recognition is accepted.

I wish SmartBank would allow users to place comments on transfers as well as schedule them instead of only having an instant option

I love the security of SmartBank , However when it makes you verify 4xs in a row that’s annoying. Also the bank leaves charges in pending mode forever it feels like. Most banks transit the charge immediately and deduct the account. This bank literally pends transactions for almost 3 days. At this day and time technology offers way too many advances to allow this. Although I’m a loyal customer and adore the family like business approach, I’m concerned the company will not advance if they can’t stay live with all transaction types and become more convenient. I will say the Saturday hours are awesome, and I’ve never had customer service issues! They do care about people! More positive feedback than negative!

My whole check was put in the bank yesterday and now I’m over drafted because it never got deposited! Walked in gave her my whole check looked at my account and I have $0! The have 0 customer service on the weekends so now all my bills keep getting taken out of my account and over drafting me!

This is the first time I have used the Mobile Deposit Site on my phone and I am delighted to have accomplished that task. The directions were easy to follow and so was the process. Thanks for this helpful app. It is so nice when I feel I have accomplished a new learning task

SmartBank is terrible. Not user friendly at all. Face ID doesn’t work.

Every time I’m about to log in Face ID verifies my identity, yet the login form fails to insert my password. I have to manually enter my password regardless; clearly an unnecessary inconvenience and gets tiring.

Please fix with a patch #ASAP.

I’ve tried this ap few times. Errors out, “server not available” messages. Never seems to work.

How about mobile deposit like most other banks?

this app’s app continuously has issues preventing me from being able to access my accounts. It will repeatedly require me to have a new verification code sent (multiple days in a row), refuse to log me in at all unless I’m connected to WiFi, or just not load period. Doesn’t matter if I’m using my phone, laptop or iPad...same problem. It’s constant. Seriously considering switching to a new bank just to avoid having to always fool with SmartBank not working. Would give 0 stars if possible.

App will no longer let me sign in with Touch ID. I’m forced to type in my password every time. And come on this app, get your stuff set up where I can link my debit card to Apple Pay already. This is the 21st century!!

It’s nice I guess? The fact I have to have a verification code EVER SINGLE TIME I want to sign in got annoying the first time. I shouldn’t need a new code every time I want to see how much money I have. That makes zero sense whatsoever

I wish the transaction history/activity showed the store/company name first rather than "POS purchase with PIN..." As it is you have to click on each item to see where the debit came from, which makes it harder to track for fraudulent use.
