LOVOO - Dating App & Live Chat Reviews

Not much has changed since my last review. Same issues still persist. I use it for entertainment purposes. Oh and most accounts will ask you for your WhatsApp info so they can collect your phone info to spam you there or scam you . Don’t bother downloading. Worst app in terms of vetting users. GPS location way off, blocked scam users are still on LOVOO . I’ve blocked over 100 and the profiles are still there. Doesn’t warrant a rating. It’s laughable when a user has one profile photo and a different second one that has them as a different race. Most photos are stolen from various on line social media or porn stars. Design wise it’s good. But overall, not worth it unless you just want to entertain yourself .

I sent my photo in to get verified 5+ times and it got rejected each time. I look like my profile photos and I followed their prompt pictures exactly. I have always been easily verified on other dating apps, so this process was a little distressing. I emailed the support email and I got a rude automated message that told me to use the chat not. The chat bot offered no help and it said for me tp email the same supper email. At this point I looked through the other reviewed and I see that this is an ongoing problem other users have. I’m convinced the „positive“ reviews are also from bots. You can’t even swipe on people if your profile isn’t verified. So LOVOO seems like a scam to send you spam emails.

I was here to meet and hopefully find someone. It seem like LOVOO is fake, everyone reply back with the same reply & question. If not everyone from Washington, which I don’t know why if I’m from NYC. Last I won’t go to hangout to get to know you better🤦🏽‍♂️! So far 3 days into it, met a chick that said she was from Canada , but her profile said she was from Africa. Another one that reply back saying she from New York Manhattan, when I told her I was from Long Island City. She didn’t know where that was at . Hello is 10 mins from Manhattan. Only thing I like that LOVOO lets you try it for 7 days for free👍🏽

ITS CALLED “DIGITAL KIDNAPPING/DIGITAL ID THEFT” JUST BE CAREFUL AND DO NOT SEND MONEY! I matched with three females, all of which asked me if I had Google Hangouts and suggested we talk there. Not unreasonable since it’s sometimes easier and quicker to talk outside of a dating app. I Added them, one of them asked to cam (that kind) they were a scammer. As one of the previous reviews mentioned LOVOO is full of fake profiles and scammers trying to get your information and blackmail you, albeit not very well but still. this app is a scam app, I changed my name, birthday and profile picture then deleted LOVOO . I wouldn’t recommend LOVOO to anyone. But if you’re gonna use it don’t accept and requests to switch over to Google Hangouts or any other messaging app.

LOVOO really isnt anything special. In swipe mode it doesnt offer a distance min-maxamizer. But you can view profiles in a near by section that dont really change so you have too keep scrolling down if the ones up top dont respond. Being a dating app you guessed it. They typically dont respond. Thats really all it offers and theres just not a lot of members yet either. So good luck talking to anyone that isnt super far away and probably fake. Definitely deleting after the 3 month thing runs out.

The only issue with LOVOO so far is that there is no location filtering. During matching, LOVOO is showing me people hundreds of miles, even continents, away from me. I really don’t care to match with people outside my own city let alone state so of course I’m going to swipe left on those people and it doesn’t hurt that you tell me not to swipe left on everyone but what the hell am I going to do with a match on the other side of the world?

I've only been on LOVOO for less than a month and already I've had 4 ppl send me the exact same pages, word for word. Idk if they have a scammer handbook with standard questions or if it's the same person, either way....
Also apparently there's an abundance of incredibly handsome men in Washington.....uhm are there no women in Washington? No more than likely is the only city scammers from west Africa or wherever they are can think of. Why can't you be a little more vigilant with your verification process?
Oh yeah and I can't find the supposedly available live feature anywhere, it just doesn't exist in my app.

EVERYONE BEWARE LOVOO....You can not do anything in LOVOO without paying. They even delete your profile pic and day its against their guidelines. When i read through the guidelines, there was nothing about my picture at all. And you puck what you are boy or girl. And the search os to be only what the opposite of you are. But thats not true either. What little bit they allowed you to view, 35% of it was males. And when you go to delete you account in LOVOO , you have to wait for them to approve your account to be deleted. Im still waiting on that part. But i did delete it from my phone.

I like this platform much more than the others ive tried on mobile. Everything in the UI feels very smooth and clean and there are unique features in here not seen on others. LOVOO was just released though and not many users yet. Download this and give it a go! Its worth a subscription

Hi this app, I have been using LOVOO for a while now and really like LOVOO but lately there is some bug in ur app which is making ur app slow and most importantly I can’t see any pics sent to me in my chat window nor in other ppl profiles. The only thing I see is a round blue circle continuously but the pics does not show up
I have reinstalled ur app and logout n re-login to my profile but the issue remains the same.
Kindly do the need full action promptly. So I can give you 5 stars.

I have met some decent men here, but also a lot of fake profiles and scammers. Be aware if they start asking you for money using lame stories, ask you for Steam cards and any type of cards, they are scammers and you need to block them immediately!

I do not think this app should make people go through much stress in create their app or users going much stress just to access it. This is a dating site and every reasonable person should be aware that you could meet a serial killer, joke or a scammer. This is why you must be careful on how you respond and how you hookup in real. this app can’t be held responsible for this if happens. All dating site are the same and there is many coming out every day.

I understand LOVOO is new so it won’t have a lot of people, but it keeps showing me people in other countries and other states. It doesn’t allow you to set the distance you desire, you just have to take whatever they show.

You also can’t do anything in LOVOO beyond message the last person your match with without paying. Seeing as how there are barely anyone local on LOVOO no point in paying. I will stick to tinder

(1) I am seeing the same picture of the same girl with two to three different names and two to three locations? What gives?! This has happened several times now.

(2) I see girls at 23 -25 years old with PhD’s!!

(3) I get contacts from beautiful girls with only the cover picture...no others...and of course you pay to open and look.

(4) The people with multiple pictures and a long story are older and not so ‘stunning’! Are they real?? Probably are...

(5) I got approached by what appeared to be a beautiful, young, 25 year old US military female who said ‘she’ was currently living in Ghana...after doing my due diligence I found out this female was actually a 19 year old African male from Ghana trying to get money. This has happened a couple times now.

(6) Are these random hackers and scammers or part of a big issue??

I downloaded LOVOO one day when I was bored and ended up talking to a guy a couple hours after. Little did I know that would be the guy for me. We now live together after 2 years and plan on getting married. Thanks this app !!!!

It gives you less swipes per day than tinder, more adds than tinder, it gives you no prompts before spending credits to look at profiles so you can accidentally spend all your credits if you click once, and also it lies to you, 10 times it’s told me someone is interested and I should make the first move using saved credits only to come back and say the ice wasn’t broken. Why lie to me? Garbage app do not bother with

I’ve been on LOVOO for about a year. I have a lot of fun with it. There are a lot of scams, but that happens with all sites. I’ve chatted with very interesting people from all over the world, and I’m curious to see if LOVOO leads me to what I’m looking for.

I was introduced to LOVOO by a friend who got her soul mate from there .. so I decided to join and so far it has been great I think this app is the best dating app so far and I hope others will try this and also meet their true love ...

It’s a great place to meet nice girls. I’d truly love it if one was able to come to me because I’m unable to go anywhere right now due to a motorcycle accident. It’s been ‘round 7 years since my last relationship, so as you can imagine I’m really ready.

I DON’T recommend LOVOO to anyone! It’s a scam! I got matched with a girl that LOVOO claimed to be from Washington DC. We started talking for awhile and I gave her my number. We texted for about 5 minutes and then she wanted me to download another app and talk on there. While talking on another app she offered to pay my phone bill for two years if I gave her my Verizon account information. Obvious catfish situation. She also told me that she lives in California when LOVOO says DC?!? She then proceeded to threaten me if I didn’t get into a serious long distance relationship with her right away. Messed up. Turns out that it was a catfish and another guy was using a strippers instagram pictures as their own. Moral of the story, STAY AWAY FROM LOVOO FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY

Warning terrible site....this site is just a hornets nest for women trying to hustle guys with lies and manipulation there is maybe 10 out of 100 real women looking for a relationship or friendship all the women do is try to get you to sign up on another dating site or lie about needing you to send them money for a family member after getting you to trust them. They never wanna meet. It’s a dirty game and this is a dirty messed up site for not regulating these ho’s again it’s only 90%
