Wholly lacking best practices for security and ease of use.

Ridiculously difficult to log in.

Pathetic attempt at app building.

A privacy invading app which is very slow in China, super slow away from China. They hold your money as hostage to force you to use it.

First time comment on something, 中国工商银行 is inhuman to use.

Too large to use

You should add an English language in 中国工商银行 too for China ICBC Bank accounts.
As we are foreigners and we can’t understand the Chinese Language.

Unable to update password, stuck at final step and can not proceed. Worst app I ever use

Forced to upgrade and scan your face , collect your face data !

You are asked to updated frequently, otherwise you are not allowed to use it.

You can never get a little so call good service from this bank and 中国工商银行

omg, with the last update this has become the worst app i’ve ever used. the AI girl makes it completely unusable. please revert to the old app version, honestly

I had to manually re-enter my password every time I logged in, but the password keyboard layout was always changing, which often led to my continuous wrong entry. After three wrong entries, my account was frozen, and then I had to call the branch that handled my account, but the branch that handled my account was closed all year round. These Chinatown customer service staff, they can barely speak English or Chinese, and communicating with them is a disaster.

Always meet problem when using. Try again and again and again, then finally succeed. Exhausted!

I couldn’t check balance in the updated app, it always stuck at loading my account.

Alipay and Wechat pay don’t require a pin to use my card. Why do you require a pin for me to use my card with Apple Pay? Apple Pay is more secure than Wechat and Alipay are. Terrible user experience

I don’t know how I got to the update with the AI girl, but it is horrible! Nothing works! Also none of my coworkers who use ICBC have this same update. I absolutely HATE it and wish I could go back to before this update.

Mandatory collection of private privacy information and personal privacy data. Do not agree to its terms can not use its software. Such banking software shamelessly coexists with rogues! It is hoped that the Apple platform can regulate such privacy-infringing software. Protect the ecology of the platform and everyone's privacy! Thank you!

As an expat in China this is the bank my company chose to go with. It is essentially good for checking my balance so I know how much I have and can transfer out of the country. Everything else is pretty wonky and useless.

Some thoughts on how to improve:

1) Get rid of the unconventional keyboard for logins. It doesn’t help with security it just makes my logins longer. If ICBC is committed to security try modeling the login after the 2 step verification that other banking apps have.

2) End the illusion of overseas remittance. I doubt anyone is actually able to do it over 中国工商银行

It’s unfortunate that this banking app isn’t on par with other banking apps. I have a few others that provide great service and really make it worth your while to use them. Maybe someday.

中国工商银行 has good functionality. Wish there was an English-language version.
