AllTrails Status

I can't download maps on iPhone app. The app keeps trying to sell me Alltrails+ in order to download maps.

I have alltrails pro since 2019 on iphone 10. It was reliable in the deep back mountains. Starting from about July application stops recording. I have to start again. It records for a short period of time and then stops again. What is going on Alltrails? If this will continue I would have to leave you. I hope somebody will give me an answer.

I just renewed my subscription. Since then every time I open the app it will crash within 2-3 seconds. Tried restarting my phone but no luck. I don’t want to delete the app because it said all my past data will disappear. Please fix!!!!!

always requires me to relogin. does not load saved trails. or prior history.

I just renewed my subscription Feb 2023. Why am I not seeing all my past saved trails? I have been a customer for many years.

The app loads everything except word content… so, no description no comments… Navigation works saves my hikes, etc… But no content, shutdown / restarted iPhone 12 PROMAX… iOS 16.1.2 If I remove then reinstall I will lose all my saved stuff I believe… will wait a while before going that route

All trails Pro not working or past 2 days at least. Due to renew subscription on 22nd of Jan 2023. Also aa I live in Ireland I use Irish Grid [ITM] system and all my maps use the same naturally as does my Garmin. AllTrails use cordinates in Degrees and decimal parts of same which does not relate to IG. Starting points are very dificult to locate on AllTrails. Pat.

The AllTrails verification is unusable and keeps crashing. This is not an improvement. The verification screen keeps asking me to verify over and over and over.

I’ve used your app successfully for four years, and now all of a sudden you have this stupid verification screen that I can’t get past. It tells me I have successfully verified, but flashes and asked me to verify again, and again, and again. It thinks I’m a robot. The app is now unusable. Fix it, please.

Prompts me to verify I’m not a robot and then the verification doesn’t work. Sends me in a loop to keep trying to verify

Whenever I hit "finish" on route navigation, the "How was it out there?" screen comes up and freezes the app. I can't rate the walk, nor can I do anything else in the app until I reboot my phone.

Same problem as everybody else. App was working fine until 6 weeks ago when it started getting slow and now crashes upon open. Anybody got any fixes? It was my favourite app and now I can’t use it.

My AllTrails app was running extremely slowly, so I deleted all of my downloads. Unfortunately, when I now click on AllTrails, it won’t stay on my screen for longer than two seconds.

I had the same problem as everyone else. The app was impossible to use after years of smooth sailing. The app would take upwards of a minute to load any action, constantly freezing, blank screens, crashes. After deleting the app and reinstalling it, it is back to working correctly. Suggest anyone having these slow, freezing issues try this.

I had the same crushing issue with everyone. I logged out first (I had to do pretty fast otherwise it would crush) and delete the app then reinstall and relogged in. It seems to work fine now.

App keeps crashing. I've been using the app for two years now without a hitch, but it just crashes within seconds of opening the app. This has been going on for a few weeks now. I have a hike coming up and I really need it to work! Please Help!

just got alltrails pro and it keeps crashing and won’t download maps even on home wi-fi..keeps saying downloaded error or will load 100% then crash and won’t load. then the app won’t work at all super disappointed. anyone have suggestions for a better app for backpacking ?

App was my favorite until a couple months ago. Then it got SO sluggish. Now it just keeps crashing a few seconds after I open it. It’s useless. So frustrating for a paid app! I was relying on this when I’m backpacking in backcountry. I guess I’ll have to switch to something else.

It's very frustrating lately that my Pro version is SO slow to do ANYTHING no matter where I am -- on WiFi at home or hiking w/o connection. Is anyone working to fix this issue as I see I'm not the only one. Up until this year, I've been very happy with AllTrails. But because I depend on it for backcountry hikes, this leaves me wondering if I'll be stranded somewhere out there!

I’m on a trip and need reliability with my pro version! App keeps closing seconds after I open. It’s also incredibly slow to open downloaded maps. Why am I paying for something that has failed me and is eating my battery life when ever bit is crucial..???!! #alltrailsSucks

My All Trails app on my Iphone keeps closing about 5-10 seconds after opening. Is there a problem with the app, or how can I fix this?

The app only stay on for 4 seconds then closed by itself. Please guide me what to do. I paid annual membership.

What in god’s name is going on with this app? Impossibly slow. Non reactive. Up to 1 minute delay of functionality once a button has been selected. It’s been like this for a year! And sorry to say, but I believe they’re scrubbing the algorithms to bury negative comments. But if you go to the App Store and select most recent reviews, you’ll see a tsunami of similar comments. What a shame. Used to be a great app. Now, hardly useable. And for $30 a year!

App on my iphone 13 is not showing the correct weather as always showing it in negative and if I look on laptop it shows correct weather but unfortunately I do not always use my laptop looking for trails and the weather factors in a lot of my decision. I have deleted app and reinstalled and same thing. not sure why I paid for pro

Same as all the other complaints. App keeps crashing, freezing, or replies very slowly. Sort of a bummer for such an expensive app.

AllTrails stops recording in the middle of a hike. When I sent an email, she said turn off all other apps which I did. However, every time I take a photo with my phone (S-9), the app stops, so I swipe the phone app and minimize AllTrails. The help desk told me to take a photo with AllTrails but with every freaking photo, it asks you if you want to save it and it's just too time-consuming! I want to be able to take pictures with my phone. Since the app stopped during our last hike, my husband has spent hours trying to edit the map but there are no good answers online and he keeps having to start over. The directions I have for editing a map in 2020 doesn't seem to be the same as what we see on the map edit now. I had AllTrails since 2017 and the first few years never had a problem.

App loads very slowly and freezes . I’ve turned off my phone and it still loads slowly etc.

I put in a trail and app freezes. Also in the past 6months app has been really slow to load info on trails.

I am able to select an area for hiking but when I select a specific trail the app freezes. I have shut my phone off and restarted but the problem continues.

Oops! You're currently off line. Why is it defaulting to this message when I try to bring up a map of my trails? It is useless to me this way. I cannot find a page to correct it anywhere I the app.

Have the pro version, gets halfway through a hike and it stops tracking, says no GPS signal. That's with the trail downloaded, have a Samsung S21 ultra. Seems to work fine on wife's older iPhone.
