I’ve been using this company extensively for three years. I haven’t had any issues until a year ago. To date, there have been eight different negative issues that I have experienced — both directly and indirectly. My brother in Scotland sent me (in USA) a card. I received a late card for someone else with their personal photo on it. Seven other instances of other cards being dispatched very late despite ordering on time and selecting a delivery date. Once is an error, seven times is completely unacceptable.

I have only ever contacted customer service twice. They responded the first time and the issue was taken care of quickly. They haven’t responded to my most recent query. I understand they are in the UK, and responses take more time. That’s completely fine, I’m originally from the UK. I know the UK holds itself to a high standard of customer care. This company shows no reflection of that.

I’ve used this app as an easy and fun way to connect with friends and family that I love around the globe, but with no response and no responsibility taken, I’m bowing out.

Their website claims same day dispatch if ordered by 2pm. It has now been 5 days and the card has not even been produced let alone shipped. Customer support keeps promising, and nothing ever happens. It’s clear no one cares. Even once dispatched, I am informed delivery in the USA can take “2-8 days plus an additional 2 days for heavy demand.” What? So, if you want to use this service, plan ahead, way ahead. Right now, remember it has been 5 days without the card even being produced, I am looking at a 9-15 day delivery window from the time of order.

Update:

The card finally arrived too late to be of use. Just as well. The quality would have been an embarrassment to present. In one photo in particular, vertical streaks are plainly visible as a product of the printing process!

So, the product arrived late, and when it finally did show up, it went straight into the rubbish bin.

It is a pity to see how this company’s standards have plummeted.

To have my Christmas cards arrive late or not at all is unfortunate. For it to happen two years in a row is unacceptable. I ordered cards on the “2-4 day” delivery option 12 days before Christmas and 15 days later, still got delivered. Considering cards are usually for a particular date, timely delivery is crucial and this company how now repeatedly failed, so why would I ever use them again? I would suggest others don’t either.

When I first ordered from this app the entire process was good. I am impressed with their products and prices. My last 2 orders were delayed so much I decided to write to them to ask they take some steps to improve their delivery service. When you place an order they prepare and send the card within 2-4 days. Then it’s “shipped”. My last order was a sympathy card. It took almost 3 weeks to get it. I had to apologize to my niece twice for not sending her the card in a timely manner. I contacted this app twice only to be told we’re sorry but we have no control of the mail service. So, they lost me as a customer and I’m really dis because I like their products. They’re east to order. But what good is all that when cards are not delivered in a timely manner.

I have been a customer of this app for many years as I live in the US and my family and in-laws all live in the UK. I have lost count of how many times I have ended up frustrated, had trouble connecting, got to the end of my order and had to start all over again as well as other issues. Tonight is one of those times. I am frustrated beyond belief and am not going to use this merchant again once I have used up my pre pay. The only time I ever seem to get service is when I use a Mac book. Even responding to a short survey after I placed my order I was not able to type my response se as to why I don’t buy all my cards from this site.
Get you act together this app. I can’t be the only one having a consistently bad experience.
I have spent a lot of money on your site over the last 10+ years. Enough is enough.

A very fed up customer

Now Moonpig won’t let me sign in. On top of being difficult during the order process. It doesn’t allow you to use valid coupons. Additionally, after signing up and purchasing cards it then tells you you didn’t earn rewards point but you could have if only you click on something. That’s just bad customer service.

I’m finding this site harder and harder to order from, trying to order a card and flowers for Mother’s Day was impossible, so frustrating and disappointed with this site. I did manage to order a card in the end but no flowers for my poor Mum so I will have to explain why the flowers I promised will not be coming... so disappointed!

I placed an order and received no email confirmation. Which I thought may have meant my order didn’t go through. So I then redid my order and tried again. Still no email confirmation. I was charged twice and both orders went through, the confirmation email was sent hours later. I emailed customer service and they were able to cancel and refund one of my orders. They also added $5 to my account, which was great to keep me as a customer. As long as my card arrives, I am happy to use this app again. Just be aware that it can take hours to receive a confirmation email and just assume your order went through before placing another one.

I live in the US and my parents live in the UK so I frequently use this app to send out cards speedily for occasions that are both personalised or even hand written! I don’t have to deal with international snail mail, it’s all done from the this app app in minutes with easy to choose postal options. I love that you can search for a specific theme, and even add your photos. The fact that delivery dates show really help and the cards are never late.

The last 5 cards sent either didn’t arrive of arrived late. While I was an avid user, I have tempered my usage because of the late or non-delivery. Very frustrating.

I keep coming back though and have just sent another card (to my daughter) using the service. Keeping my fingers crossed.

My only recommendation is to send your card as early as possible!

I live in the USA. All my family and a lot of my friends live in the UK and other friends live in other European countries. Mailing paper Christmas cards is complicated ( due to different “last” dates the US postal service has for different countries ), expensive and time consuming.
Sitting down with the this app App in the comfort of my own home, makes the whole process so much easier! 👍

Excellent place for me to shop from where I am and really appreciate the value and quality that has been sent to my family over the years and the choices are growing each year so thank you.

The flowers and plants have been received with admiration which is a huge relief so I would highly recommend this app especially as I’m very worried ordering online and I do limit myself to where I shop from so again thank you I know I’m safe.

I have used moon pig for years now. They are high-quality and by far the best value cards you can get. I always use my own photos to personalize the cards and they come out absolutely amazing looking. And having to only pay local postage for international cards is the best thing ever! I cannot praise moon pig enough.

I googled for customized cards and found this website. I’ve ordered twice in two months and everytime my cards have been delivered with the quickness! The quality is so good! I love this site and will continue to do business with them!!!!

The site breaks down constantly so you can create a card and upload photos and then start from scratch - over and over
Standard usps means at least a weeks waiting for your card to arrive??? Why?
And the payment system takes only apple or Visa

I have used this app several times. I eventually get something okay to send but their web site is not easily used because it is not immediately apparent how to use it. I believe there are better ways to use it than I’ve discovered, but it’s beyond me.

I love Moonpig so much. I have family oversees and it’s always next day delivery or gets there in 1 business day. They are always saving the day when I realize I have forgotten to send a card. Quality of card is amazing, they do an outstanding job. Would highly suggest!

I’ve never wanted to take the time to write a review for an app… But this one seriously is the best ever… I love the reminders for people‘s birthdays and the personalized cards are everything!! surprisingly so affordable… customer service is great too

Best app for sending cards and gift I’m using Moonpig from years and alway has an amazing experience 100% recommended only fault is that somethings customised cards automatically deleted from the cart they should work on their app features otherwise overall best experience also deliveries are never late.
