I have done everything from clearing cache, changing permissions, uninstalling/reinstalling, turning off/restarting my phone, and even factory resetting my device! the app simply hard crashes as soon as I try to open it. After 2 months it's entirely unusable now.

How to fix iSecretShop app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the iSecretShop app on iPhone
Update iSecretShop app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall iSecretShop iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix iSecretShop on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve iSecretShop network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

iSecretShop Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix iSecretShop not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the iSecretShop App
1. On android, goto Settings » iSecretShop » click [Force Stop]

Update iSecretShop to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear iSecretShop App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » iSecretShop » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart iSecretShop.

Fix iSecretShop unable to contact server/ iSecretShop internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click iSecretShop » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto iSecretShop » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch iSecretShop
