- When I’m in an article and I swipe left to right, I want to go back to the list of articles (headlines), not the previous article in the list.
- Save yourself the hassle of downloading this app.
- I get about 15 minutes of broadcast and then the app pauses the stream and then ultimately crashes or hangs there expecting you to unpause it every few minutes until it finally crashes.
- I know that the world wants broken up news reports instead of a proper stream though.
- I gave it awhile to try and get used to the new ui but it’s just worse.
- I mostly have just used my news and the tabs are terrible.
- I don’t need preview pictures that large.

App not working after recent iPhone update
Page just shows red screen and then switches off after 30 seconds
I have used he BBC News app for several years. Today on my Huawei Medapad M6 it was failing to load. Therefore I went into the Android settings and cleared both cache and data. I tried to open the app but it asked for sign in or register. I tapped sign in and the same page returned but would not move on to enter user name and password . I tried again and this time the screen went blank. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app three times, which made no difference. Interestingly I hear the usual notification sounds and pop up messages appear, so the app seems to be working but I never get past the screen asking for sign in or register. but simply cannot access the app. There are no problems with any other apps on the device and it still works perfectly on my Huawei P30 pro phone. Please help me to rectify this very annoying problem.
New bbc app is crap 🤮 old one wasn’t broke why fix it? Bring it back
Every day I have to delete app and reinstall, It doesn’t update Incidentally I much preferred it before you “fixed” it, it wasn’t really broken!
After updating the app on my iPhone only news stories several days old are displayed. BBC was my preferred news source but I rarely check it since it is so terribly out of date. Bring back the old format and app!
I have an iPad mini 2, running iOS 12.5.7. I can’t upgrade to a newer OS. The BBC News app now requires iOS 13, which is not possible on this iPad. Thus I am now denied further use of the BBC News app. Is it possible to obtain an older version of the app? I am now resorting to Sky News and ITV News, both of which are still available to me. I feel let down by the BBC, however. I would be grateful for an answer to this, preferably from the BBC. Thank you. David Hurford
Ever since updating to v7.0.0.0 (25339) on my iPad the stories are displayed as if on an iPhone.
BBC News not steaming on iPad or iPhone. Apps have been reinstalled still not working
Error message “media resolution failed” when trying to run BBC Live from the app on both iphone 13 (IOS 15.5) and iPad Air (IOS 15.5). Stopped working simultaneously on both devices, one week ago. App is latest version.

Streaming BBC NEWS and programmes do not work on iPad and now iPhone app
No longer able to listen to BBC NEWS on iPad or iPhone as of 24 June 2022.
I have used this news app successfully for a couple of years. Currently when I open some of the stories a message appears not connecting. Some news stories I am able to read. But a lot of them I can’t. I love this app and hope you can help me. I live in Australia.
