I have been noticing after the market opens, data still shows pre market stock prices. These prices still show even an hour after opening. I don’t feel confident that the data is accurate on MarketWatch app.

How to fix MarketWatch app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the MarketWatch app on iPhone
Update MarketWatch app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall MarketWatch iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix MarketWatch on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve MarketWatch network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

MarketWatch Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix MarketWatch not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the MarketWatch App
1. On android, goto Settings » MarketWatch » click [Force Stop]

Update MarketWatch to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear MarketWatch App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » MarketWatch » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart MarketWatch.

Fix MarketWatch unable to contact server/ MarketWatch internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click MarketWatch » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto MarketWatch » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch MarketWatch
