Just one tiny thing.

By far the best password storage app that I have tried but I only have one complaint. I’ve been using the free version for years but it is limited to 50 passwords. Everyone by now should have more than that and probably does but if you want more then you have to buy the whole kit and caboodle. Seems to me that they are leaving money on the table because rather than going through and maybe deleting an old one to put in something new or creating duplicate passwords I would gladly pay an additional one time fee of a buck or two, or even five, in order to get an extra password or an additional expansion of 5 passwords or even just a single expansion. Just seems like there is money being left on the table. Other than that, is great.

Don’t believe it’s 4.5 Star rating!

I bought the Pro unlimited version because I exceeded the number of stored passwords allowed on the free version. I felt safe buying it because of all the rave reviews and the free version seemed to work okay for my needs. But after upgrading to the Pro version I’ve had nothing but trouble. While using SecureSafePasswordManager it will log me out for inactivity. It crashes over and over, and gives me multiple error messages. While creating a new password storage file it gave me a message of “error try again” ten times. I kept retrying only to discover the file was actually created each time of the “error try again” message so now I have 10 files for the same thing and I’m unable to find any means to delete the duplicates. I also came to realize I’ve been charged TWICE for SecureSafePasswordManager that’s only been frustrating and proven worthless. If you’re looking for a simple way to just store some passwords, SecureSafePasswordManager definitely is NOT it! I’m surprised and can’t believe the 4.5 Star rating because my experience with it has been totally disappointing. Plus I don’t appreciate being charged double especially for something that doesn’t work!

I don’t trust these people

They didn’t include the “in app purchases” in the description page in SecureSafePasswordManager Store, then I discover there’s a subscription, that they won’t tell you about until after you go through all the trouble of signing up (but it is mentioned in the FAQ, even though they still refuse to include the cost). Do they think we’re going to go through all the trouble of signing up, then think, “oh, what the heck; I went through all the trouble! I’ll just pay the enormous costs every week! Saves me from going out and buying a 98 cent notebook!” If they are going to be that sneaky about the in-app purchase costs, I wouldn’t doubt for a second that they could access your information once you write it in. No thank you. The 98 cent notebook would be much better, I don’t have to pay a monthly, and nobody can access it. Read the FAQ. There are no Qs or As about security. Shouldn’t there be one that asks, “How do I know you aren’t sneaking into our apps and accessing our passwords to get into our important accounts?” Or “How can I be sure my information is secure?” Nope. I don’t trust them.

App Constantly Crashes😡

UPDATE-App STILL CRASHES!!! ONE MONTH AND STILL NO SOLUTION!!! As of April 25, 2018 THERE IS STILL NO FURTHER RESPONSE OR SOLUTION FROM SECURE SAFE! See below for details:
Starting March 30, 2018 my app would crash EVERY TIME I tried to open it. It doesn’t matter if I use fingerprint id or type in my user name and password; either way I never get past two factor identification. I immediately emailed customer support and waited two days for a reply. I have since been in communication with them via email with over 10 communications in all. As of today, April 11, the problem is still unresolved! This may not sound like a big deal as I can access my account on my laptop. However, I rely on SecureSafePasswordManager to access my passwords when I am away from home and using my smart phone. Given that I pay for a gold plan with SecureSafe I feel that they should be able to respond and resolve my problem in a more expeditious manner. I am very disappointed at this point with their application and customer service. This is not what I would expect from a company that sells a fairly expensive service.

Complete Trust

I switched from the better known and better publicized password vault companies six or seven years ago. Documents and passwords are here and accessible on my mobile devices (phone, tablet) and a click away on my computer. Weak passwords and not using 2-step verification is now the bad guys get you. This is the no-post a notes way to avoid that nonsense. The inheritance feature means that if something happens to you, after x-number of days and authentication, someone can gain access to the specially-designated passwords and documents YOU want them to have. Memorize one strong password and ID and the rest is easy and reliable. Nearly ten years of total trust and satisfaction. Few things online can you say that about.

Outstanding

I used almost all cloud services available. At least I tested them all for a while. This includes the big names, other end-to-end encrypted services as well as cold storage providers. I also played around with third party apps to do own Encryption.
After a while I found out that for real sensitive files I do not need tons of TB. SecureSafePasswordManager and also the windows version is just so good. You can even customize which folder will be synced to which folder in the cloud.
It is super fast and on top you get a password manager as s nice extra. I could not be happier.
I still use another cloud for collaboration but the sensitive stuff is in SecureSafe. You can’t go wrong believe me.

Convenient

I was very leery about putting passwords on my phone. With all the hacking going on it didn't seem wise. But I couldn't remember all my passwords and couldn't carry a little book around, and I definitely don't trust other security keychains. A friend told me about Secure Safe. He is a businessman who owns his own business. I trust he knows what he's talking about. Still it took me a couple years for me to get the courage to try it. So far it's been great. But I still worry that someday I may get an email with bad news. I'm much more confident than I've ever been with other keychains. I like having Secure Safe at my fingertips, even if my fingers are crossed. I use it a lot.

Swiss quality and integrity.

I've been using SecureSafePasswordManager for nearly a year, with zero problems. It the little app that can and does. In the shifting, ephemeral world of the Internet, it's good to find a programme that you can trust with your core secrets. No ads, no bollocks, just encrypted data stored in an ex military bunker in Zurich.
If you are a professional and/or a power user, they have higher levels of service at very reasonable prices; the free version works for me.
Highly recommended.
Update April 28, 2017: Still the best. I like the new format. Five stars again!
Update July 26, 2017: As above.

So useful and I don’t know what I would do without it. The Face ID to unlock it is a great feature.

SecureSafePasswordManager has been so useful and much more convenient than other methods for saving passwords and other important information. We travel a lot and it always nice to be able to conduct business by easy assess to my passwords and don't have to worry about using the wrong one and then having to change it because I couldn't remember. It is also handy to have the web site link. I don't know how I could go without it.

Great App

Ive been using SecureSafePasswordManager for over a year, I just paid for more storage as i went over my free slots. SecureSafePasswordManager has been exactly what I needed, i love that i can have this on all my devices and even web into it on my mac. I just started using face recognition and it works great. I have had some issues with auto fill but i haven't had the time to look into the issue. I wanted something to store my passwords and some docs and that what it does. 💯

Horrible Customer Service

Avoid SecureSafe! These people are complete buffoons! Your information is basically used as collateral throughout the term to extort petty amounts of money from you. Basically you have no choice but to pay them. I have never had to fight with an organization for basic servicing of my information. I eventually lost everything being locked out with no warning after my subscription expired. With these idiots, no login means no reactivation of subscription so basically all of my data is gone because of their greed for a few dollars. Disgusting!

Password master

SecureSafePasswordManager is working better since updates this summer - however, the copy functions in SecureSafePasswordManager don't work. Every time I copy a piece of data for use outside SecureSafePasswordManager , there isn't anything in the clipboard of my iPhone to paste.

I've been using Secure Safe for over 5 years, and this newest version (that I updated this morning) is horrible!! It takes so long to assess my passwords that my phone times out. Now I can't even login now because of the error messages. Never had a problem before - but now I can't even assess my own data -- I guess that's one way to keep my passwords safe :(
I want the old version back!

No Client-Side encryption

I have been using this service for many years now. SecureSafePasswordManager has not been updated at a basic level since beginning. While it was not the case when this started out, most secure apps now offer client side encryption for passwords or file storage. This does not.

They say they’re zero knowledge but we have to trust them to not record unencrypted keys from memory(src: their white paper). The fact that they can if they want to makes it not zero knowledge.

So, while this is a good service in other ways you can find more secure password/storage elsewhere.

Great App

I just upgraded to a 13 pro max and the face login isn’t working. It said to add the password and “activate facial recognition” but I’ve tried that half a dozen times, I’ve been through settings and FAQs, I see no where to activate it.

The FAQs include an answer about fingerprint access not working but the answer is not in English.

I’ve loved SecureSafePasswordManager for 10 years and hope this gets resolved.

Been hanging on for years too long

Have been using this for years. Even with the years long issues with the ridiculously lengthy signing in time needed to get to your passwords...I hung on. Have been slowly migrating to other apps during the pandemic as SecureSafe seems to be a slowly burning dumpster fire....
Now with this update I can no longer log in online.....WHICH MAKES SecureSafePasswordManager POINTLESS FOR PASSWORD SAVING.
Give DashLane or DataVault a try. They have things like Logins and connecting to the internet solved. And aesthetically exponentially more pleasing than the archaic bland spreadsheet that is SecureSafe. And they also have significantly more functionality with iOS and Siri.
Sorry SecureSafe. I gave you guys a good run. It’s 2021. You can not internet. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Can't Edit

Ive been using SecureSafePasswordManager for many years now and generally I've been happy. Currently, I can't seem to edit existing passwords. I get a pop-up that says "Login without internet connection"---I don't know what that means as I am connected. Something's not right
Update: The Secure Safe helped me easily resolve the issue by suggesting : Could you please try to switch off the switch “login without internet connection” on the login page? Seems that issue happens somewhat often tho either by my fat fingers or a program glitch

Vaccine scanning feature crashes the app

Latest iOS on iPhone 12 and that new feature to scan vaccine certificate just hangs SecureSafePasswordManager after first picture is taken whether manually, automatically or even from the existing photos.

Now that annoying scan certificate is displayed at login all the time. You have a nice app and I pay to get more passwords than 50, but this latest vaccine scan was a poorly executed feature. Move the scan inside SecureSafePasswordManager , not on the main login screen. Don’t ruin your app by getting into politics of vaccinations. It could be an optional feature, but has no place on the main login screen. Please fix ASAP.

App is unstable

SecureSafePasswordManager used to work fine but, as of the latest few iOS updates on my iPhone 5s, SecureSafePasswordManager REFUSES to run in the background when I open the website to which I attempt to copy the username/password elements. VERY ANNOYING and INCONVENIENT. I have raised this issue with you before, via email and in this review space, and have heard NOTHING in reply. If this issue cannot be rectified, I will reluctantly not renew my subscription with SecureSafe, after many years of satisfying service. Please RECTIFY THIS ISSUE or, at least, RESPOND TO THIS COMPLAINT!

Too slow to load!! 👎🤬

updated review on Sep 2, 2019. You didn't fix the painfully slow login process. I just measured with a timer and was mortified to see that it takes 12 seconds from “login with Face ID” to seeing my list of passwords.

When you are in a situation that you need to get a password quickly, you look like an idiot staring at your device hoping to see the list of your passwords. Offline mode is not a solution!

I’m not going into the other issues until you understand that phoney “let’s delay login so it looks like a real slow opening vault” is a bad approach! I’m using an iPhone XS, I know other users have complained of the same issue 👎😞

Vaccination feature won’t open on my iPhone 11 w/ current iOS

The new feature for storing COVID vaccination is a nice idea, but it doesn’t work on my phone. Every time I try to open it I get a message that says login error. When I login and look for it, that feature is not accessible. I also could not find a way to get a message back to DSwiss to let them.

Excellent item. Very easy to use & I feel the information is very safe

I like this item very much. Tried a great number before but none fit. I have so many ID's & everything has a different password. The only draw back on this item is you have to buy a monthly fee if you have a ton of items as I did. Easy to use. Works with all 3 of my items phone, pad & computer.

Won’t let me into screen to view passwords

When I first got SecureSafePasswordManager a few years ago I thought I’d found the answer to my password storage woes. Since then I’ve have various issues along with other reviewers. My latest one is bad. I can get onto the screen that shows my alphabetical passwords but when I try to open it to look at the password, it says there was an error and to try again. NEVER works so I can’t look up any passwords. Please fix this ASAP.

Outstanding - secure and very convenient

Use SecureSafePasswordManager all the time, it has never let me down. Secure passwords for all my accounts and even syncs between my iPad and iPhone so I am always current with new info I entered. The ability to copy passwords is not only convenient, but more secure as is the offline mode for public environments. A must recommend for anyone needing a password and other secure info manager!

Highly Recommended

I always stayed away from password apps because I thought they would be very complicated. But to my surprise it’s been an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend it to everybody having problems managing your passwords. Give it a try there is no doubt in my mind you’re going to like it. A user friendly app for saving your passwords.

Typing in new entries

I’ve had SecureSafePasswordManager for many years. It’s a good app, but the only reason I’m not scoring higher is it’s not easy to add new entries. When you are typing in the information it’s takes forever for it to recognize your on a new line and allow you to type in the information. You have keep touching the screen and sometimes you have to get out and back in before it allows you to type any information. I wish they would fix this issue.

I can't believe it gets a 4.8 rating! The customer support is horrible for paid customers. It normally takes a week form them to get back to you for urgent issues such as not being able to log in. In most incidents they simply ignore you. I have been blocked from my account for two months due to their 2-factor authentication problem. In spite of my repeated cry out for hep, their customer support never responded! We often talk about Swiss standard and integrity. But this Dswiss company has no integrity and shame. How can you trust them with your passwords!
