Not long ago, they added a hidden balance feature that makes every process with ActivoBank take 2 to 3 more clicks. They need to make it optional in the settings and I’m actually thinking about switching banks to another that has a function that’s more convenient. The main thing I want to see when I open my app is what my balance is and the fact that I have to go between my accounts and click see Balance again, and again is really really stupid.

Multiple ad notifications per week. Including for questionnaires, promotions and much more. There is no way to disable these ads. The only option is to turn off all notifications in iOS settings. This means you will not receive notifications for withdrawals or deposits.

Várias notificações de anúncios por semana. Inclusive para questionários, promoções e muito mais. Não há como desativar esses anúncios. A única opção é desligar todas as notificações nas configurações do iOS. Isso significa que você não receberá notificações de saques ou depósitos.

I would love to use ActivoBank but it only converts the first page in English and then goes back to Portuguese

Ever since the last major update ActivoBank just reports "connect problems". This is going on since November 5.

If you want to pay for services, the numpad opens instead of the keyboard. How am I suppose to type in the company name? Are you doing any QA? What a amateur developer team is working on that? Lots to improve!

I can't open a bank account. The button to use the Chave Movel Digital doesn't work. I contacted the bank but they send a prewritten response and when I replied, it gets blocked. Awful customer service.

Ever since the last update, I have not been able to access my app to make payments on my bills. Very concerning. I’ve tried deleting ActivoBank and re-downloading, but nothing works.

App regularly complains about missing connectivity (not true). So it has to be the backend. Mind this is a banking app, so my trust goes towards 0.

All in all, it looks fancy and interaction is great. But guys, it‘s banking! Robustness comes first!!!! This is not en par with any other app (deutsche, revolut, zkb).

The most recent update tries so redesign the whole app. It destroys something that was really good, simple and straight to the point. It became a copycat of modern fintech look and feel, and now lots of operations require more clicks and scrolls than before.

Classic example why you should never go for complete redesigns.
You should always make UI changes gradually, learning and iterating based on user feedback

I haven’t been able to access the website or ActivoBank for over 3 days now. I wrote the customer service email and received a notice that they deactivated the account. They instruct me to contact them on ActivoBank , which doesn’t work. I am lost without an idea what to do.

I have an iphone app and after the recent app updates I can’t see pending transactions (e.g. transfers) or apple wallet transactions. Wallet transactions appear after several days. Nightmare

I have a keyboard with my iPad and iPhone and I cant use ActivoBank on the horizontal.

A aplicação so funciona na vertical, como e possível? Um banco totalmente online tem que apoiar as plataformas digitais e depois tem uma falha destas.

Sim, é possível instalar a app num iPad. Mas enquanto não for possível utilizar a App na horizontal é a mesma coisa que não existir no iPad.

Esta situação ainda é mais grave porque se trata de uma nova versão da App.

Estou a mais de 4 dias a tentar entrar em contacto via App através da chamada online e ninguém atende ou devolve a mesma.
É muito frustrante para quem está noutro país e com um fuso horário diferente precisar de ajuda e não a conseguir. Mesmo ligando as horas operacionais de Portugal.
Sempre que se envia uma mensagem em vez de um atendimento personalizado é sempre mensagens predefinidas. Realmente é frustrante e isto já é o meu último recurso, mesmo depois de ter tentado um email para um agente da minha antiga sucursal que também não obtive resposta. Aguardo um feedback de resolução da chamada online ou um e-mail para uma ajuda mais directa que assim é insustentável que me faz pensar em fechar as contas por não obter ajuda.
