Shazam stopped working on iPhone SE 2020. Comes up with splash screen then closes to phone wallpaper screen. Current iOS is 16.6.1. Old version of the app still works 12.13.0 on an iPhone 5 running iOS 10.3.4
SJ, Thank you for posting the solve (settings, accessibility, turn off bold text), which worked without having to uninstall the app.
I had the exact same problem as Dan Burke, tried multiple ways to solve it, contacted apple support just now via chat and they helped me solve the issue. I had to go to settings> Accessibility > Display and Text Size > turn off Bold text and after that Shazam works again. Instead you can turn on large Text and Shazam will still work. Additionally you can try FORCE Restart Press Vol Up button > Press Vol Down Button > Hold side button until apple logo appears let go (press buttons short and quickly after each other
Shazam app fails to open once app icon is pressed on my iPhone 13.
I use an iPhone 8. I updated the phone to version 16.7 this week and update my Shazam app to version 15.41 today (Sep 28, 2023. Shazam worked normally before the the update but didn’t after the new install. My experience is that when I attempt to launch the app the app home screen appears momentarily but then disappears. I’ve followed normal processes where I r3move the app and re-install (several times). I’ve rebooted the phone (several times). And I’ve turned WI-FI and cellular data off and on several times. All to no avail. Any suggestions? Regards, Dan
Shazam stopped working 5 days ago, now will not even open? have tried restarting iPhone several times and no luck.
I searched for a couple of songs on my iPhone and it worked and then I tried to search for another one and suddenly app crashed. I have tried to uninstall and re-install a number of times but it keeps crashing before opening. It is working on my iWatch but not my iPhone. Any ideas?
Your Shazam app stopped working on my iphone 7+ after 2 months and 129 songs identified. I have tried deleting then re-installing the app multiple times, as well as rebooting my phone each time as well. I'm confounded. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Gentlemen, I have the Galaxy Watch 5 (model SM-R900). Unfortunately, even though I restarted the watch several times, re-installed the app, the Shazam application starts but can’t recognize music. (version 12.6.0.220106) Is there a way to fix this problem? Thank you for your help Albert Hagouel
My shazam app isn't working with my mobile data. It only works with wifi. How can I fix this please? There are a lot of songs with lovely melodies I have their recordings on my phone and I really want to identify them. Thanks in advance.
I just downloaded the app. I am At a Eagle concert (tribute) and the app has not recognized a single song over the past 2 hours.
I cannot play full tunes on my shazam on my samsung s22
After your latest update, i can listen only 15-22 seconds…It’s not with every song, but kinda annoying. It wasn’t so with previous versions. What’s the problem? Also is Shazam playlist now set to shuffle as a default? Not a very good option as a default. And why Shazam skips for a second when the phone screen goes down?
When I tap Shazam to listen to a song it does not do anything. This problem comes up every so often. I've deleted and re-added it and it still doesn't work.
