The heart rate and sleep functions aren’t working for me. I know it’s not my watch because the Apple built in functions for these things are working flawlessly. My BPM spikes drastically during focals at night so I really needed that feature along with the regular seizure monitoring. Not sure I’ll purchase after the trial, may try seizalarm instead.
Also, there’s been a random counting timer for the last 20 hours. I thought maybe it was a false alarm that started counting or something, but checked the logs and there’s nothing there? Not sure what this is but it’s constantly popping up on my watch and that’s annoying and makes me question the reliability of Epipal as a whole.

My husband suddenly had two Tonic Clonic seizures where he stopped breathing for a significant amount of time. Needless to say I am now paranoid to leave him alone. I started researching options, there were a few out there but had bad reviews. I came upon this one with much better reviews and endorsed by the Epilepsy Foundation. We did the free trail and wasn’t sure so paid for one month before committing to the full year. Had questions so made an appointment with the developers and had a great conversation with them.

Fortunately, he has not had any more seizures but has had 2 false alarms, glad to know it is working! Had to turn down the sensitivity and seems to have helped. I like the latest update so now it is running in the background.

I normally keep my phone on do not disturb at night so I saved the number from the text as a favorite and have allowed notifications to bypass the setting to not miss a notification.

I occasionally have additional questions and Amir has answered our emails quickly. This is very much appreciated!

I highly recommend Epipal, it allows me to live with a peace of mind!

Love Epipal has helped me a few times only thing I wish it would/could catch other seizures rather then tonic clonic seizures

Epipal alerts me when my husband has seizures. I can be at work or running errands and check in if it alerts. If he doesn’t answer I call 911.

As a college student, this is a great app to have to help alert my family and roommate! Every update continues to make Epipal better and this is the only seizure alert app that I trust.

Caring for a family member with epilepsy is stressful but honestly Epipal has helped so much. Super nice to know that if anything happens to my loved one, I'll know immediately. Epipal is super easy to use and has been a life saver for me. It had some bugs in the past but I haven't had any issues since the most recent update!

I i haven’t had a seizure in over 5 years and I still use Epipal 24/7.
I like that Epipal offers so many different features. I appreciate that they don’t just let you add contacts to be alerted if you have a seizure, but it allows you to send out a test alarm to your contacts.
I also really like the med reminder. I am really good about taking my meds, but my husband always asks me if I remembered to them. Now I can check them off and he gets the alert that I have taken them.
Another feature that is nice that would be helpful to those with little ones or those that are not controlled is that you can give someone access to get into your app.

Easy to install and adjustable . This can adjust to my individual needs . I realize that my seizures are slightly different than others , so I can adjust it to my personal setting. One other thing is when I needed help getting set up ( not a techy) they made it easy for me. It’s great to have peace of mind.

I appreciated Epipal . Although I’ve only been using a short time, it does have some benefits like medication reminders, seizure detection, an aura setting for you to jot down after you have a suspected aura. This along with tracking my sleep is helpful. I believe they will also develop a tracker to determine if you have nighttime seizures which would be awesome. Great tech

I originally got Epipal to get a sense of peace and independence. I have tonic clonics in my sleep and my husband works night shift work and our biggest concern was for me to have one while he’s out working and wouldn’t know until I eventually were to wake up hours later.. So with that being said, when I unfortunately did have an episode in my sleep, it alerted my husband right away and he was able to come right to my side.
I have the setting on medium sensitivity for my Apple Watch and it is perfect! Highly recommend to anybody considering

My daughter has epilepsy and will be going away to college soon which is extremely stressful for both of us due to her seizures and not having anyone at school that knows her situation. We had a night time device but not a day time device. I came across this app and bought her an Apple Watch. The creators of Epipal have been over the top wonderful to work with taking suggestions and making changes as things come up. I feel so much better having Epipal and feel confident that it is going to be our life line for now on whenever she has a seizure!

As a father of 5 and a business owner, plus going through the divorce process my life has been very busy lately. Epipal has been extremely helpful with all of the features like medication reminders and tracking the days I have seizures and the days I don’t. You feature in particular is especially helpful. When I do have a seizure it alerts my best friend that only lives a few miles away. As I am fighting for my kids I’m hoping this is one of the things that keeps them in my custody. Thank you to the creators for doing such an awesome job and really keeping our needs in mind.

I’m really greatful for Epipal. We installed Epipal just to test it out for a free trial a couple of weeks ago and Epipal is the reason my son is alive. Major thanks to the creators behind Epipal .

My 8yr old has epilepsy and I was out of the house to grab groceries. Epipal alerted me right away when he was having a seizure and I was able to quickly call my sweet neighbor to go check up on him. If I didn’t get the notification, I don’t know what would’ve happened to my poor boy. Thank the lord! And I can’t thank you guys enough for making such an efficient app. I’m definitely buying a subscription for life. You guys deserve it!

I am grateful for Epipal. I have to be honest out of the other apps this is the best one I’ve experience that helps more than the others. I can’t wait for the updates for doctors. I believe it would help them a lot for them get alerted and receive reports of their patients.

As an epileptic myself I have to write down or those around me write my episodes in my journal. I am told not suppose to wear my watch to bed but because I have had them while I was asleep Epipal literally recorded it and sent it to my people and they came and were able to assist. So like I said helps even wearing the watch when sleep. But to have a night mode will be nice.

Epipal keeps me safe and alerts my family. Not as many false alarms as others. It is my preference among all apps that Ive tried.
