PiyoLog: Newborn Baby Tracker Reviews

I rarely rate apps, but once in a while I find one that does exactly what I need it to do and it does it well. Though the interface is a little cartoon-y, the layout and functionality is excellent and my less-than-tech-expert wife mastered it almost instantly. For new parents, this lets you record all sorts of information that you find out you may need to tell the pedestrian

The customization is good (but I wish it transferred across devices, instead of having to set it on each one)

Working across devices was a critical need as my wife and I have PiyoLog on four of them, because we don’t know which of us will have data to enter or when. It updates fast, too.

The nursing timer is really good and much more useful than just using the basic stopwatch

It has the little ads which don’t really get in the way, but I would pay for an app that helps me as much as this one does if I could get rid if the ads. On the phones they take up a higher amount of screen real estate, but on iPads you hardly notice them.

PiyoLog is very helpful and easy to use. It is great for tracking expected and normal events and does have “activity” tabs for illnesses BUT there is only the one generic “other” option. When using PiyoLog , there are a couple of other things we track regularly with newborns and it would be great if we could make a tab for events that we track over and over, such as tummy time and, more importantly, spitting up or reflux events. As a pediatrician, that can be very helpful data when parents ask about it in the office and if it’s own tab could be made it would be much easier to track events of reflux that don’t involve spit up as well, which are harder to see/remember but just as indicative of the problem. In short, being able to add tabs for specific things would be so helpful!

I didn’t have anything like this for my first born. PiyoLog is amazing for keeping track of everything baby does. I love that me and my partner can both use it on our phones when each is taking a turn with baby. We also add a new photo everyday which is fun. This was extremely helpful in the beginning when we were tracking how many diapers he was going thru. Found out he wasn’t producing enough and we needed to supplement with formula. You can also see patterns of sleep with the graphs and that’s super helpful to start a sleep routine. Can’t recommend PiyoLog enough

PiyoLog has been so useful. We had a baby a week ago and I don’t know what we would do without PiyoLog. Being able to have both parents access the info from different phones is wonderful because we take the baby in shifts—we can even leave notes for each other, and even if the other person is too tired to function we can just check the log and see what’s up. You can also get reminders about when it’s time to nurse again. Love love love 💕

Thanks his app has been amazing - my wife, nanny, and I all are linked so we can add information about his feeding, sleeping, and bathroom schedules that all three of us can see. It’s been so helpful to track amounts he’s eating (and pooping and peeing) so we can track his progress. We just had our first pediatrician appointment and we had perfect, detailed answers for them on a number of things because PiyoLog has made it so easy to keep track of. Highly recommend!!!

PiyoLog is absolutely amazing. As first time parents, it’s hard to keep everything organized and PiyoLog does all the work for us. PiyoLog is especially helpful with breastfeeding as it has the timer, tells you which side you started on, and has a great reminder system. The “expressed breast milk” option is a nice added bonus!

I love that it syncs instantly so my fiancé and I are always on the same page. I also love the summary at the top that shows total wet diapers, etc as it’s very helpful in determining whether or not my baby is breastfeeding enough!

I don’t know what I would do without PiyoLog, truly.

My recommendations:
-Ability to customize the order of the log options (I have to scroll awhile to get to pump)
-Feeding reminders sync between users
-Smaller feeding increments for more accurate logging

First time parent and this has saved us!! It’s awesome you can share and organize it how you want.. very simple and easy to use and layout is perfect. It’s nice when we switch off at night we don’t have to say when he ate last you can just check PiyoLog and it has everything we have needed so far. Makes it easy tracking weight and when pediatrician asks how many poops and pees we actually know!!! Highly recommend!!!

Wish I had found this a few months back when my baby was born. It’s so easy to lose track if time w a newborn/ baby , and there’s really no time or energy to log things. PiyoLog fixes these 2 things. Super easy to use and convenient . Love it pairs with my Apple Watch and u can speak to Seri to log events. That needs a little tweak because she sometimes doesn’t understand, but I can easily log myself from my watch as well.

My wife and I use PiyoLog on multiple devices. It is great for tracking the amount of food we give, the type such as formula or breastfeeding, diaper changes, and the ability to upload photos of their bowel movements in the event we need to show it to our pediatrician.

There are many more features but we mostly use it for the ones listed above. We highly recommend PiyoLog.

I have been using PiyoLog for a couple of weeks not and I must say that I’m impressed. It tracks all the basic information and you can also use custom icons as well.

I downloaded PiyoLog for my granddaughter because I am watching her while my daughter and her husband are working. They see all the information that is recorded and it even helps to keep the baby on schedule on the weekends.

It really is a great app!

I started using PiyoLog when my son was born in May 2020. It has been phenomenal to keep track of everything. I love that my husband and I can both connect and not have conflicting information. The only thing I would probably change would be to edit and remove the icons you don’t use or be able to move them to what you use the most.

Something like this is not necessary, but it’s so incredibly helpful! My wife and I both use it to track her daily sleeping, eating, and voiding primarily but logging baths, growth points, injuries, photo and text diary entries, and exactly what she eats is so easy. When I go to the pediatrician I have lots of good quantified information. The new feeding log display option menu is in Japanese characters so I can’t tell what it lists but I love PiyoLog just the way it is. Thank you!!

PiyoLog has helped me so much transitioning into being a new mom. It does everything I need and allows for so much customization for day to day changes. It’s easy to use and export weekly/monthly reports for doctor visits and keeping my husband on track with our routines :) PiyoLog is a must have for any parent for tracking everything you need and want to with your child’s growing life.

I’m in love with PiyoLog. I just posted about it everywhere. It has made my life a million times easier. It helps with my type a personality because now I can log absolutely everything (and I mean everything). And the best part is multiple people can access the same account from different devices, so everyone who takes care of our baby can update the account as well.

This is a user friendly App. I’m a new mommy- before PiyoLog my husband and I wrote his feedings in a notebook. Now we are synced and we’re always aware of his feedings together with amount, naps, etc. PiyoLog even reminds you to nurse, keeps record of our baby’s growth and sleep patterns. Everything a new parent needs in one place with the ability to share with your partner.

i’ve tried multiple apps to help me out and they’ve all failed to be as simple as PiyoLog here! straight forward, no jumping from one page to another. I love that I have all options ready at the bottom and even more that I can pick and choose which tabs I want or not want. literally has made my life so much easier for this first time mom :) highly recommend it!!

I’m not one to review apps at all. Super helpful when wife and I need to make sure we’re tracking everything for our newborn. Definitely helps when one of us is more sleep deprived than the other, the other parents can use their phones to track all records.

Cons: Small ones only: Some Japanese words and ads are a bit annoying.

I was looking for a breastfeeding tracker I could just start and stop and not have to watch the time. I found that and so much more with PiyoLog. I can keep up with diapers, growth, bath, pumping, milestones. PiyoLog has everything and I’m so glad I found it to use with my newborn, wish I had with my other 3 kids.

Everything you’re looking for in a baby logging app. Super easy to use and even has extra features I didn’t expect to have (like the nursing timer, pumping tracker, diary, notes sections in each tag, etc). PiyoLog should honestly not be free because it’s packed with so many useful features!!

I love PiyoLog!!!! As a new mommy this has helped me keep track of feeding and diaper changes. I can put in notes so I remember to ask the doctor about. It’s super easy to use too and share with anyone helping you with your little one, so they can stay on track as well.

So far PiyoLog is really great. The icons make it easy to know what you’re recording and the layout takes just a quick glance to notice patterns and trends. The ability to add a daily photo and diary is really cute and I know I’ll be looking back on all of this. I really love it, and it’s shareable!!

Great baby recorder app for their activities. Works across two phones with no need for an account. I tried 4+ apps before settling on this one

It has all the features you would want but it is hard to see it all because the interface is busy. I’ll be discovering new features for months probably

I have tried and paid for so many trackers. This one is the simplest and does what I need with less clicking. It never appeared on my searches but downloaded it after my husband started using it on his android. The data syncs easily between our 2 phones. Highly recommended
