Testing Outliner and enjoying it very much, but the developer has no website to speak of, and there’s no documentation anywhere. The interface is very intuitive so that’s not much of a problem. But where is my data and in what format? Opml would be great for import and export. I’d be very grateful for a response from the developer (or somebody else if I just missed it).
UPDATE: The developers were quick to respond, and the sync seems to work now. In fact, updates happen within seconds. I’m changing my review to 5 stars. Outliner does exactly what it says it does, it does it well, and I’m quite happy with it.
ORIGINAL: The screenshots advertise “pick up where you left off,” but you cannot. There is no cloud sync of any sort. I cannot get my iPhone, iPad, or Mac to sync with one another, which means Outliner is useless to me. Would have given it 2 stars, but I’m taking a star off for deceptive claims of a non-existent sync feature.
I’m using Outliner to brainstorm content ideas - and I’m loving it so far! So many people have recommended Notion to me - but I feel like Notion has so much of a learning curve - I end up avoiding my tasks. Outliner helps me keep all my to do’s neat and it’s very intuitive to use! Also the support has been very quick to answer questions about using Outliner which is appreciated. Love supporting smaller app creators!
I had a iPhone 11 software problem so I am used to not having notes on my phone. Outliner is perfect for me,but I don’t mind that is does not sync to my iPad or other devices. I like it for day to day to do lists, simple quick notes, and school. I like that I can integrate separate thoughts and notes within that note, it’s very user friendly.
Outliner if perfect for outlining my comic, the only thing I’m missing is a sync to icloud feature so I can see my notes on my ipad. It is also minimal, writing notes and organizing them is fast and it is overall everything that I’ve been looking for!
Update, yay, syncing is fixed! I’m so glad this is a feature. ☺️
