Works exactly how I want - thanks!

I’ve looked at various apps to stitch screenshots together, over the years (even considered writing one of my own), and this is the first one I’ve found that works exactly the way that I need. It can work out how the images overlap and connect them perfectly on its own, or you can select the exact crossover points yourself.

iOS 13 has now added the ability to save an entire _webpage_ as a PDF (take a “screenshot”, tap the thumbnail in the corner, select “Full Page” at the top, and when you hit Done you’re prompted to save it as a PDF to Files), but for any situation where you only want a few screenfuls, or in any other app besides Safari, this app is the perfect answer.

(Also want to point out that I’d lost hope of ever finding such an app that got everything right, but ran across this app when Apple featured it in Picsew Store, so thanks to Apple for that.)

Perfect performance, easy & intuitive!

My 88-year-old Dad, an Austrian mountaineer in his youth, has now conquered a this app - in 10 minutes. A much shorter period than he learned screenshots on my iPad Pro (synchronizing the power buttons is the new Two Step for some of us). this app has made Dad an instant iPad ‘pro’ and while the dog is in hiding and Internet soon will be - he’s jamming all his buds’ emails with lengthy attachments - Dad has discovered a new tech confidence I’ve never observed. Zero frustration with immediate, great payoff! Thankfully my iPad Pro has more memory than he does, as we have multiples of everything, but this app saves us by deleting the original singular images and by saving to the Cloud. Thanks, too, for developing an app that works on an iPad - instead, like Tailor, advertising as much and not delivering. Finally, this app, you Wow’d me, as I just completed my taxes, by hand, stitching all my screenshots of my 1040 and schedules together as I went. - MSB

My favorite splice-editor!

I’ve tried several apps for editing together screenshots. This one is my favorite, hands down. I use it daily to create one long, ribbon-like image of newspaper articles, recipes, etc., for archiving or for sharing with friends. That way, the friends who don’t subscribe to my newspapers and journals can read the articles I choose to share, without the paywall of a link. Some editors are automatic in their splicing, and that’s easy & impressive; however, the automatic ones don’t know how to eliminate the ads and other clutter on the screenshot pages. With this app (this particular editor), I can remove the headers, footers, and ads from the screenshots. this app gives me a lot of control, and it’s very easy to use. I also appreciate the way it will clean up after itself, asking if I want to delete the collection of source-screenshots after the newly spliced image is saved. Highly recommended!

Wow! I am amazed!

This is such an incredibly impressive, responsive, and well designed screenshot/image editing app. Completely aside the scroll screenshot features. BUT I was desperate to find something as good as Samsung’s native scroll screenshot feature, but Scrollshot far surpasses even that! I’m actually amazed at how easily and quickly it’s able to recreate a prefect screenshot from a screen broadcast. I know the tutorial says to take it slow when broadcasting but I was curious and kept testing scrolling faster and faster and I found I could actually scroll so fast that my feed was BARELY loading and it would STILL reproduce a PERFECT screen shot in SECONDS on my iPhone 12. I honestly feel like I’m living in the future! Picsew is a bona fide technical masterpiece and the developers should be proud of what they’ve done. $1.99 is an INCREDIBLE DEAL.

The Real Deal

I was looking into stitching apps and noticed many people complaining about various apps inability to auto-stitch due to not enough overlap. Those apps were free but after reading the reviews for this app I took the $.99 risk and glad I did.

What makes this stitcher so great is the manual control. It is fast, easy, and intuitive. You have the option to delete the screens used to stitch your new image when saving. Saving doesn't crash your phone, I did not have to give a review before it would let me save, the save goes straight to your phones album, and it gives a share option after saving.

This level of functionality, slickness, speed, stability, and options are what we all are hoping to get when we open a new app. This one actually delivers and for me paying $.99 was much cheaper than dealing with free amateur headaches.

Initial experience with tailor vs PicSew

When I want to share an article with an appreciative likeminded friend that doesn’t sit with their face jammed up on a monitor all day, will take a quick moment to check his/her phone out for a text.,, it’s a royal pain in the derrière for them to go a link for what they think I’m sending, which may in fact contain a lot of peripheral garbage, I make screen shots and join them for a continuous read.
Tailor will often refuse saying that there isn’t enough overlap for joining the images.
this app, even basically unsure just how to make the most of it, it’s intuitive enough to join the images without a lot of lip from what is supposed to make life easier and minimize struggle or getting a headache just to send a friend something to gape at in disbelief or find amusement for a moment.
I’m with this app right now since it simply provides my desired outcome in the most direct uncomplicated manner.

Answer me this… why are there no tutorials or reference material to refer to after an app has been installed.? It is a waste of my time to read reviews to find out what it is capable of. I’m so much faster doing things manually and producing an easily alterable original that won’t disappear into the digital haze of an update?

Really a Great and Useful app! A "Go-To" Daily!

this app is one of my few, daily "go-to" apps. It's really easy to use (very intuitive). It flawlessly performs every function that you would expect and want from a "stitching" app. Overall it's pretty advanced in features, yet simple to figure out how to accomplish what you're trying to accomplish.

I haven't seen anything that comes close (and I don't mind paying $$$$ for the "right" app. If anyone knows of one that's even better, please let me know. I don't remember if this app was free, but I would have paid $5 to $7 for Picsew (probably more, so long as it wasn't a reoccurring fee. "Most" of those are BS apps! When will Apple stop some of these developers from charging for an app, only to have the developer remove key features and then offer to unlock them if you pay a monthly or annual subscription fee?

to all my fellow screenshot junkies ♡

i’ve tried so so SO many of these types of apps that promise to let you "connect" your screenshots & etc. but truly, this one is the only one that doesn’t crash every 30 seconds & really (!) does (!) work (!).
i’m still navigating myself around Picsew & trying to figure out how all of the different tools work, but the "sew" 🧵 (if that’s what you want to call it) tool (which can work horizontally too, btw) works effortlessly & easily as soon as you open Picsew . just select those pictures you want to connect & there u go 👌
like, finally, all of those insane screenshots i’ve collected for reasons i’m still not entirely sure of, can now be stitched ✂️🧵 together!! & on top of that Picsew will then ask you if you would like to delete (all those messy) source images afterwards.

So easy

I don’t really write reviews, in fact I hate writing reviews and I usually don’t bother, but Picsew is amazing. I was using another app for awhile that you could “stitch” three pictures together for free and I liked it okay but the ads were annoying and you had to pay 2.99$ for the full app. Well one day I was using it and an ad wouldn’t let me close out so I searched for something else.

I found Picsew and at first I didn’t want to bother paying .99$ for an app but I read some reviews and I decided “Hey, why not. It’s only .99$” I’m so glad I did because I use it at least once a day and it’s so easy to use and I highly recommend it. I absolutely love it and it was definitely worth the small amount of money.

tl;dr It’s a great and easy to use app.

Excellent App! A must have.

Tried several scrolling screenshot apps, and all have annoying in your face ad and/or only provide subscription for a paid version, which turned me away and were quickly uninstalled. Picsew has great functionality, easy to use, and no in your face ad for a free functioning version. The paid version is a one time purchase, no subscription, with two levels ~ standard and pro - with very reasonable pricing. I only need a standard version, but upgraded to the pro version anyway to provide support and appreciation for a great app with fair pricing (no subscription) that still provides a free and functioning version without in your face ad.

Streamline

Picsew helps me a lot to streamline my photos, by allowing me to connect multiple photos and/or screenshots. I love how you can go vertical or horizontal, and Picsew is very easy to use; I especially love the remove scroll bars tool. I have thousands of photos on my phone and Picsew has helped so much on compacting and organizing my photo stream. I love being able to take 5-15 screenshots and incorporate them into 1 photo, and the best part is the photos don’t lose their quality. Soon I’m going to try to use Picsew to make panoramic style pics out of my own nature photography. Thanks for an easy to use app that does everything you need it to do.

Excellent app with great easy to use tools!

I was looking for a screenshot editor that was quick and easy to use, but also robust enough to give me the tools I needed for more complicated use cases!

this app was exactly what I was looking for and more! I’ve used it for not only screenshots, but also for sharing information from documents without exposing sensitive information that needed to be kept private. For example, I was able to send a coworker’s driver’s license information without revealing her address, height, weight, etc. to her recipient. She only needed to show proof of having a valid driver’s license and she was able to do that, and only that.

Keep up the good work devs!

Excellent app! ✨

I have literally searched far and wide for an app that could take long screenshots everywhere within the phone and save it in JPG format (and not PDF as with iOS 13, with limited areas to take these screenshots) until I miraculously stumbled upon this app. I must admit with full honesty, none other app in the appstore stitches/merges screenshots/web pages/everything (manually and auto-capture) in Hi-Def & JPG format perfectly as this does, not even iOS 13 itself!!

I have just used it for barely an hour and it suits my needs exactly as advertised, PERFECTLY!! I usually don’t leave reviews but this right here... this right here.. THIS IS THE ONE! Simple but FULLY packed - paid (just $1.99 for Pro) OR unpaid, it gets the job DONE! Watch and learn APPLE!

*However, when the screenshot is quite lengthy, I’m able to view it perfectly in my camera roll but after I export it to whatsApp or telegram, the quality diminishes. Not a big issue as it can be fixed by taking “shorter” long screenshots!

Thanks developers. Deserves a 5-star. EXCELLENT APP!!! ✨

Video Screenshot Vertical Pics Work Perfectly...Horizontal? Not So Much

I really like Picsew. It works nearly perfectly, EXCEPT for one thing. When using the screen record function to take the images to be stitched together, it doesn’t seem to recognize when I’m scrolling horizontally (from left to right) and doesn’t take the images in a way that they can be stitched together (if it takes them at all; I’m just as likely to get an error message or the premature stopping of the recording). If the devs could get it so that Picsew recognizes when you’re scrolling left to right/right to left and stitch those pics using the screen record feature, this would be a 5-star app, for sure.

Wow! Seriously Full-Featured

I was looking for an app to stitch together a long web page and found a few free ones with in-app purchases so tried those. Some were automatic, some manual only, some restricted to 3 pictures, etc. None were great but did the job with some work. Then I saw this one with such a high rating and so figured I’d try it for $0.99. Now I know why. It worked better than all the other apps on the first try and then I discovered the share sheet extensions for Safari and Photos. The first one is super useful as you don’t even need to take screenshots in the first place. Just buy this and I promise you’ll be happier than with the other competing apps.

If I had to pick one app

I always wanted an app to do this but never knew what to search for. Now that I have it I can definitively say that it's well worth whatever I paid for it. It's extremely user friendly and works flawlessly. Even just using it every other day or so it's well worth it.

[update] I use Picsew nearly every day for assembling screenshots of information I’d like to keep and for recipes. Still very little to complain about — Picsew is even better than it first was actually, especially the ability to add cut points to an existing image and remove things like ads

The Most Invaluable App I Have Come Across In A Long Time

(First things first-I rarely write reviews and I am not receiving anything for writing this review. I am genuinely impressed & grateful and just couldn't help myself.

So... I am a constant user of the screenshot. It doesn't matter if it's a pic I like, step-by-step instructions I will need later, or an important form I found online that I need to print and fill out - I use (Homebutton + volumedown= SCREENSHOT).

Then I came across Picsew this app and not a day has gone by when I have not used it. It allows me to take any screenshots of my choosing and literally join them together horizontally or vertically, however I see fit. And once I have my finished product I can save it and discard the "Source Images" - right from within Picsew . It's so simple, I wish I had thought of it.

After several years of using iPad2 and then iPadAir2 and finally iPad Pro, It is rare to come across an app that can surprise you and become so indespensible. But that is exactly what I have found with this app.

Thank you, thank you, thank you -Nicole

Great app/functionality

I frequently need to take screenshots for my job and this is by far the best app I have used for managing those shots. Previously I used Tailor to capture scrolled views, but this app is far better. With Tailor it automatically selects the last few screenshots taken—there’s not option to pick and choose the shots you want. this app allows me to select just the shots I want to stitch together and gives me multiple options for stitching (scrolled/merged, stacked, and side-by-side). this app is far more stable and is geneally easy to use. I highly recommend it as it saves me the hassle of transferring multiple screenshots to my computer and stitching them manually.

Fantastically easy and full featured.

Picsew does a beautiful job auto stitching screenshots together. And in the off chance things need tweaking, the manual adjustment controls are very easy to use. Picsew also has a few touch up features, which I’m very thankful for. I love the ability to make the status bar a default format (good signal bars, full battery and time at 9:41) — it helps keep the focus on the screens and not my almost dead battery.

I would recommend Picsew above the competitors. I’ve tried some of the major ones and Picsew is by far better. As a UX and UI professional, Picsew has become a valuable tool in my arsenal.

This. Just. Works. Get this one

I’ve tried a few of this “stitching” apps. Even those featured by Apple. They just don’t work, seem broken. I have no idea why Apple features those other ones. This one works simply, and the way anyone would expect. You select the images and it stitches them. No fuss. And no skitzo automatic photo selection feature that tries to guess which photos in your whole freakin library should be stitched that doesn’t work or even make sense like in other apps. Why would they even think people would want that…. Anyway forget those. This one works.

Love this!

Picsew really is one of the best, most useful, quality apps n the whole store! I’ve used it many times per week for at least a couple years I believe
If u r reading t n his review, then I can already tell u that U NEED TO BUY Picsew!! U won’t regret it.
Works great every time. Recent improvements have made it even easier and more accurate/faster to use. A definite ‘must have’ app in my book!
It used to have a few annoying bugs, but I haven’t personally seen any n the last few months or longer.
After DLing sooo many crap apps n Picsew Storw over the years, It’s nice to come across something that does what it says it will do. I would give this app 10 stars If it were possible. :)

Stitch consecutive screenshots

Picsew provides the utility to stitch screenshots (vertically or horizontally) into a single large jpg . A recent enhancement intelligently detects the joins and it works well.

When screen scraping it is essentially to leave enough overlap between captures so Picsew can identify the join. Otherwise you’ll be doing it manually. Once joined the spacing can be adjusted infinitely. Picsew can even delete the stitched screenshots after you’ve created the joins.

I don’t use the device templates although some people might. Previously the instructions were in Chinese hieroglyphics but English has been added with enough context for interpretation.

A nicely designed minimal interface

The description for Picsew mentions that it has a “Minimal interface”, which can be good or bad, depending on the talents of the developer. Given how nicely functional and easy to use this app proves to be, I’d have to say the developer is quite talented! I don’t know how much I’ll personally use Picsew (I purchased it more just to support a good app and to investigate what’s happening in this area of utility apps) but in the hour or so I used it after installing, I was able to easily figure out all of the features and produce some truly effective and beautiful images to share. Thanks for such a great app!

Amazingly fast and accurate!!

I don’t review apps often but this one deserves it. I was using Stitch It for a long time because it served its purpose but it just looked so dated every time I opened it. Then when I looked to see the last time it was updated, it had been over a year ago. So the search began to see if there was something better. Wow am I glad I did. Select 2 photos and Picsew will automatically put them together in an instant! You can manually do it as well, but the auto feature was spot on. Love the blur and watermark features as well. Definitely worth it!
