XumoTV was working fine then it just stopped working. When it stopped working I deleted XumoTV and downloaded it again but now it will not pair with my phone. It says the device is already paired but it isn't.

Also, XumoTV won't allow me to pair multiple devices for the same tv. My kids share a room and want to download XumoTV on each of their devices but it won't allow us to pair the other devices. The actual remote broke and no longer works so we need XumoTV . Please fix this as soon as possible.

App does not work. Our remote broke so we downloaded XumoTV and followed all the instructions. The tv will not pair with our devices so it’s just wasting away in the living room. I would not buy this brand AT All the quality is poor and the remote was very flimsy. Smh ridiculous we can’t use XumoTV to help. Get rid of it then if it’s not going to work for people! Fix this issue immediately!!!!

This is the wordt tv I ever had it’s always freezing up and rebooting XumoTV isn’t working now. Saying my device is already pair but it’s not pairing after deleting app because XumoTV wasn’t working. The only great thing about this tv is it was only 180 plus tax. Such an inconvenience for people that have small babies!

Most have this remote because they don’t have a physical one. It crashed and won’t work. Chooses when it wants to work. Ive tried all day and can’t use the tv at all today. Some days are better than others but come on update already and fix this! Good idea just not working properly

I’m a young, tech savvy guy, who isn’t new to things like this. It should be pretty self explanatory. It’s junk. Doesn’t work. I have the device set up, connected to same wifi, and turned on, while 5 inches away, and it says that it can’t find a device. Garbage. Take my advice and save yourself the time and don’t download it. Thanks!

It’s like XumoTV wants to work whenever it wants to work and that’s annoying. And I deleted XumoTV and then re-downloaded XumoTV thinking that it would start working again and now I can’t even pair my TV to XumoTV. It always says it connected when it is not, don’t even waste your time. Just buy a remote.

Great idea, but several problems; it wont pair with more than one device, and the one device it is paired with continually shows a “please allow xumo to connect to network” screen and wont allow user to use power button. Also, it just stops working sometimes and I have to unpair it and the pair again.

I have been paying for a subscription to STARZ through Xumo but I am not able to log into or watch anything on STARZ. I guess I will cancel my subscription to STARZ.
When I access the STARZ app on Xumo, it doesn’t have anywhere to log into your account. It just says “subscribe”. I already do! I had a STARZ account with Roku, but I deleted it months ago.
Please help!

The whole point of installing the remote app on the phone is because one can’t find or broke the physical remote. So having to need the remote to connect the phone to the box is ridiculous, it should be able to scan and show any devices near by that correspond and you connect to it based on what the box says on the bottom side.

Having the same issues as the previous review… Can only pair one device which is very inconvenient when multiple people are using the TV at different times. You have to unpair each time and then pair again.

Currently we are stuck, XumoTV says TV is already paired but my husband and I have both unpaired. We have tried restarting everything & deleting and reinstalling XumoTV , but nothing has worked.

I was trying to watch tv and I tried to turn on the tv but it wouldn’t work and it was working fine days ago and now it stopped working completely and I tried to delete XumoTV and reinstall it but then I tried to reconnect my tv and it would say the device was already connected but it wasn’t so i continued to keep trying and sometimes the codes wouldn’t work so I just had to uninstall it and have no tv control at all

When trying to pair the remote it keeps saying this device is already paired. I have a new phone and went on there and deleted my old phone from the pairing thinking it would let me pair it after that and it keeps saying already paired this is stupid and the most nerve racking app I have ever tried to use. I have a XUMO tv and can not even watch it because it doesn’t have buttons like older tvs and this stupid app will not work. Will you please fix it.

The overall control is okay not could use a lot of upgrades like the actual touchpad should be where i can swipe up down left or right instead of actually trying to press the small buttons just needs more up to date design & when trying to power on the tv it never does it on the first press have to press it 2 maybe even 3 times for it to turn on so i dont know if XumoTV doesn’t connect all that great with the tv

Downloaded XumoTV and followed all the instructions. Made sure that everything was on the internet and everything was good. Then I searched for my Xumo device… and low and behold there was no device to be found. I was exactly 12” from the xumo box holding my phone… no device found, try again (over and over). I made sure xumo was good for networking in my settings. Still couldn’t pair.
Had to delete XumoTV before I even used it.
Don’t advertise that this works if it doesn’t.

Remote give errors. If you delete and redownload, you can’t pair it. It will say “already paired” but won’t show up. Told this tho customer service. They told me XumoTV remote will not work if the physical remote doesn’t work. Had to be the most absurd thing I’ve ever heard. I can see 1 year ago, another reviewer had the SAME PROBLEM, and it’s obviously not resolved. I’ll take the loss, sell for cheaper and just go back to the real tvs. No wonder these tvs are cheap. They are trash. App is trash. Support is trash.

Save yourself the time trying to set this up with a Xumo Stream Box from Spectrum. It doesn’t work. Not that they bothered to make that clear in any of the websites or setup videos online. I had to reach out Xumo support to learn that from a chat bot. I’m going to dust off my old Roku and throw the Xumo Stream Box in the garbage.

It works (for now) it paired to my tv without needing the remote. However, on the roku remote app they have an option to listen to audio through your phone and it works wonders. I would suggest adding this option and not just making the remote app an actual remote, its poorly, and lazily designed.

Yeah, we broke the phone that the remote was paired to now we can’t pair another remote at all and I’m just trying to turn the volume down. We can’t watch TV late hours anymore because we have no way to turn the volume down because another device will not pair

It works now (no this not a paid ad but i should get paid for writing this review 🤌🏾) but it works I went to test it out on my tv and it did great

Works well. Backup remote. I got it to work. Let’s see how long it will work. I will update if it fails.
