BS CLOSURE OF ACCOUNT DUE TO ‘INACTIVITY’

Never got a text, email or phone call notice that my account was going to be closed due to inactivity… I had called a couple of months ago about wanting a physical card, and so requested one to be mailed (told that a lot of people just use digital card nowadays, but I like to have the physical card on hand). I went into my account to try to activate my physical card today that my husband had gotten out of the mailbox and had set aside…only to find out after trying all methods with no success then downloaded ImprintApp to try, only to find out my account had been closed 13 days ago! I tried online chat, only to be told to call customer service…then after all of that, was told my account was closed due to ‘inactivity’ for a year…so they close accounts that haven’t been used in 1 yr time…and they won’t reopen or even allow to reapply at this time! This is going to negatively impact my credit score b/c it is going to show $10k less available credit and they tell me there is nothing they or management can do to reopen the account…only that they can put in a formal complaint…I know where that goes…FILE 13! Super frustrating! I have been an EB customer for many years and have spent thousands…IMPRINT, DO BETTER!

Credit score

I thought Imprint was a great credit card to have until I found out they decreased my credit limit by half. Which is stupid because I always pay my accounts on a weekly basis to keep my utilization score low but for some reason they see it different. The reason that was given to me was that it was machine automated that caused my drop in credit limit. Well due to they way they conduct business with is allow a machine to make a decision instead of good old human beings they have lost my business.

Think Twice About the Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles Credit Card by Imprint

I’m disappointed with this card. The $99 annual fee doesn’t bring any real advantage over many no-annual-fee cards that offer similar rewards. In practice, I’m paying every year without getting standout benefits, so I’m already considering closing the account. ImprintApp is confusing, especially around how rewards are shown and redeemed. When I called support to clarify a rewards issue (it showed a dollar amount in ImprintApp ), the agent interrupted me and tried to push me to Turkish Airlines instead of helping—even though it was clearly a credit-card rewards question. Only after I insisted and sent a screenshot did they acknowledge it was an Imprint issue and answer me. Overall, the customer support felt unprofessional. Compare carefully with other cards before you apply.

App is locked in never ending loop

Downloaded ImprintApp . Entered all requested info. App said my credit was frozen. I unfroze it. Went back to app and clicked credit is now unfrozen button. ImprintApp started over and had to refill all info. Logged out of app and then back in. Same endless loop of reentering info. ImprintApp has a bug. Refroze my credit. Gave up on ImprintApp . Will notify The vendor who directed me to ImprintApp .
26 November 2022 update: Downloaded ImprintApp again. Endless loop issue is gone. Proceeded to process a request for a Horizon Hobby Rewards Card. The promo material offered either a debit card linked to a bank account or a credit card not linked to a bank account. When I opted for the credit card, I was advised in an Imprint chat that the credit card must also be linked to a bank account for payment. Do what’s the difference. Very misleading bait and switch.

Only for Americans

They approved my credit card because I’m regular customer in Crate and Barrel and have high score and good history, but then they didn’t like my ID since it’s expiring in May 16th, and they kept asking for “valid” American ID, while my ID is still valid. I used this card for one purchase in December of 2025 and I paid everything that I should but I’m not able to access my rewards because as non American citizen I’m not good enough for this retarted company that not able to recognize valid IDs and high-end customers.

Application process

The process of taking the picture of the ID card was an issue on the iPhone 16 with iOS 26. So switched the iPhone to older iPhone 12 with iOS 18 on it and that worked ok.
Then comes the selfie part I did what the program asked me to do. Then it took the information and later declined the application because it was unable to validate pictures on the driver lic and the selfie.
There is no validation process to say your picture is not clear or move to different background that the applicant can verify or help the applicant with the angles of the selfie. Horrible process. I don’t know how the other banks do the same type of process without a glitch. Please improve the process.

Not Bad but terrible

Be careful of this scamming credit card. They get your personal information from your bank account. Try to call them? Three days of calling them. They say five minutes to 20 minute wait and I have been waiting almost over an hour and no response yet. They have no customer service because they do not care about their customers.
Called now 5 days. Over 4 hours of wait time and no response. Do not use this credit card. In time you will be sorry you did.

Our Way or no way

Have to install application to be able to add card to Apple Wallet, otherwise no way to verify. Only allows phone number for access. Does not support downloading transactions to money management applications. Not impressed, but forced to use it due to Crate and Barrel credit card being migrated to it. Could not get the first statement right after transition from old provider, and tried to suggest the migration process was “complex”. Really a disaster for Crate and Barrel brand, as Imprint appears (i) limited in their capabilities, and (ii) incompetent in onboarding new card portfolios

Surprisingly awful CC app

In this age of electronic banking, ImprintApp is astonishingly inefficient uninformative and terribly frustrating. An electronic transaction that takes two days to clear, payments failing with no information as to why this happened so that I could address the issue. Thank heavens they have good customer services via phone (actually got to speak with a person!!) If you don’t have to use ImprintApp? Don’t!

I was faithfully contacted by the developers. Kudos. However there is no excuse for a financial app to be so lacking in features that it is rendered useless.

Account Push Notifications

I gave the Imprint app only one star because there is no way to turn on ANY account push notifications, such as transactions made, spending limits, online transactions, etc. Without those types of push notifications, fraudulent charges could go easily unnoticed until you open ImprintApp to check your account. I have a couple of cards that don’t send push notifications, so it’s not uncommon. But the cards without push notifications definitely get used very little.

Easy to use, but. . .

The Imprint app could really benefit from allowing users the option to receive notifications, via in app and/or text message, when purchases and payments are made. I'd also appreciate if there was an easier way to resolve "unusual activity" declined purchases. Otherwise, ImprintApp is simple and easy to use.

Access to account information is limited

This is the only credit card I have that cannot be accessed through my quicken financial software which requires me to manually make all entries. The account cannot be accessed from my desktop computer. Both of these are a major negative for me using this card.

Is good. Could be better.

ImprintApp is good. Works fine. My issue with the whole operation is 1. You can’t add the card to budgeting apps but 2. A few months ago I got an email telling me I needed to verify my identity. Fine BUT there was no backup for the email. Am I really going to click a link in an email and have myself photographed for a grocery store credit card that I have never missed a payment on? Definitely seemed like a scam…but then they shut my card off until I was re-identified. I haven’t used it since. My credit rating actually went up but that’s beside the point. My point is, in the age of the scam, more proof that we need to identify is needed. Not just an email out of the blue.

Works well, but lacks features

ImprintApp works well for the things it does. There are a couple of features that it lacks compared to apps for other credit cards. First, you can only keep one payment bank account linked, so if you have multiple bank accounts and want to use the other one, you have to disconnect from the previous account and then link the other account. In contrast, my other cards let me keep all of my bank accounts linked. Second, I can’t link my budgeting app to this card through Plaid, so I have to manually enter every transaction, which is a pain in the rear. (Even though ImprintApp uses Plaid to connect a payment account, it won’t make other connections.) This is the only card I have that will not link to my budget app. If they would add these functionalities to ImprintApp , I would give it 5 stars.

Simple and easy

I like ImprintApp I think it's easy to use you just need to be able to have two bank accounts at the same time to choose which account you pay how much and not having to be deleting and adding another bank account

CSV data!

I’ve been using this for over a year, no issues. They just added a feature where you can download your purchase history as a CSV, and as a data nerd, I am thrilled.

Rewards are easy to redeem and everything has been working well for the last year.

Stress Relief

Had a difficult day today and finding out that I lost my HEB card did not help. I called the HEB number for reporting lost card and they were no help. The AI answering system kept asking me for my card number, remember I lost my card. I finally called Imprint and in five minutes, they had my information and issued a new card. That is customer service!

Slick, smooth and seamless

The whole process of setting up my account and getting the card activated was SUPER smooth. Took me about 2 minutes tops end to end. This card is now my go to card for both online and in store payments. Great rewards!

H.E.B. Credit Card

I really like the credit card I can go to ImprintApp a look at my purchase any time. When I pay my bill I get a text when they receive it. Plus when I buy groceries I get 5% back. Keep up the good work.

Easy rewards redemption!

At the rate I use my card, I’ve been able to pay off my balance a few times with the rewards I’ve accrued. All it takes is two clicks, and I’ve redeemed my rewards, plus paid my balance off at the same time. Super easy to use!
