Would highly recommend Alinea to any first time investors curious to see what investing is all about. Not only is Alinea very easy to use and visually appealing, it also has a variety of added features that promote a personalized investing experience for the user, including the risk profile of a company, a returns calculator for earnings from a stock over a 5 year period, the impact of a company on the environment/society/the workplace... As a first time investor myself, rather than feeling debilitated by other investing apps that require a lot of prior knowledge and investing experience, I feel empowered by this app!

I like the interactive aspects of this app that allow you to follow others in the community and “copy” different types of custom portfolios created by the community. Really cool and inspirational how you can see what others in the community are investing in. I also like the notification sent out at the beginning of every trading day that gives a cool little summary of news in the stock market for that day. Definitely recommend Alinea for those new to investing and are looking for a easy to use and educational investing app.

I recently came across this app and started using to try it out. I quickly became a fan of Alinea as the interface is very easy to use. For young investors this is one of the best app to invest in the stock market as it allows you to create a playlist of stocks and ETFs. I have not seen an app where you can do that yet and this app has found a great way to do it. I would definitely recommend Alinea to any young investors to start learning investing in the stock market.

Could use some small additions in different areas but I’m writing this because I am unable to see any of the graphs of any stock on their profile page. Small fix but annoying to be unable to see how they’re performing and their trends on Alinea.

this app is such a hidden gem. i downloaded it two weeks ago and ive had such a good experience and honestly such a fun time just going through different investing playlists and seeing which fifth criteria i'm looking to invest in!! creating my own playlists have also been so much fun, my friends and i trade playlists and make a game out of seeing how we can get the highest returns with our playlists.

i would highly recommend this app to any new investor because they really do simplify the investing process with a lot of nifty tools -- like related news for different stocks

Ive found the stack feature on this app to be really amazing because it allows users to prganize and guage their investments into virtual folders. You can also share these stacks to others—also Alinea is really fast about depositing and withdrawing money which is really awesome!

Investing always felt really overwhelming for me until this app. I’ve learned so much from using Alinea and feel like I’m becoming an informed investor. I would recommend Alinea to anyone getting starting with investing and anyone who wants an easy, smart way to invest their money.

The playlist are great but nobody actually invests in them, it’s all hindsight. Yeah I could make a playlist with Tesla that went up 500 %. It would say up 500 %, but I never invested with them a year ago or so. UX is very feminine, and does not cater to a large audience. Also I asked to intern there where the founders were very rude and uninterested, and give UNPAID interns work. Right a Y combinator backed company won’t give interns money. There is not enough data, and no good investors. Happy employees = solid business.

The customer service is very helpful. At first I was annoyed that I couldn’t invest because my account was under review. I know there are legal procedures. The customer service helped me quickly. They are very communicative. When I first got Alinea they ask for my opinion on its improvements. I like that they ask the consumers their opinions instead of deciding what improvements are needed among themselves. Alinea is pretty easy to use and honestly if you have a steady income Alinea would be great. It constantly puts money in your investment so you don’t have to. It also gives advice on when to buy, sell, hold etc. They give you instructional videos on how to read stocks. It is very beginner friendly. It helped me since I am still new to investing.

I was always extremely intimidated by investing and never knew where to start. All it took was one TikTok from this app for me to start looking/learning. The biggest sense of comfort was this being a women owned and run app for us girlies ( and anyone else) to grow our money! Alinea is clear, concise, and easy to use adding a layer of trust and visibility for managing money. You’re able to use it as a social platform, having followers, stock alerts, recommended playlist, and freedom to glimpse into what others are investing for your own education and best interest.

Every month I know the set amount that is going into my account with this app. All I have to do is sit back and watch my money grow. It has made investing simple and fun to do!

I want to start off and say this is my favorite app for investing! I’ve used robin & other ones but I really like this one especially cause it is woman founded. I like the educational snippets and news clips included in Alinea . My favorite is the slider that shows past investments & what they would be worth today.

What I want to see is the actual growth on my stocks. When I buy more stocks it shoots up my graph which makes it look like my investments are wayyyyyy higher. I want the graph to just be the added value to the base money input. It’ll make it easier and more cool to track. Also I’m not a fan of the recent homepage update. I like the one from a couple weeks ago, it was easier to access stocks & to search for them before.

Sharing and investing in playlists amongst friends and community members is also a super unique feature of Alinea and allows users to spread risk in their portfolio while also staying up to date with the larger this app community. Its exciting to see how Gen Z is shaking things up in the Fintech space!

I have no comments about Alinea itself as I haven’t given myself the time to navigate but i’m sure it’s great. However they’re refusing to give me my money back. I mistakenly bought the subscription because I thought there would be a button for “confirm payment” or something as such, but it never popped up. I finished setting the account hoping it’d ask me to confirm the payment at the end but it didn’t, the payment was going through already. I contacted them immediately and they’re refusing to give me my money back. I haven’t even used Alinea and they seem to have a 24hr policy to get your refund back which I definitely met. Now they’re only offering me a 50% discount but $120 dollars can be a lot and it’d be 60 dollars I’d be losing on. They’re taking forever to respond although it says replies within 10 minutes. This has been extremely disappointing

You can today, right now!! All you need is this app (well and a bit of money, but you can start with any amount that is doable for you!)

Alinea is easily the best finance app, it’s changed my life in so many ways regarding finance. If you’re new to finance or don’t know where to start, please download you will not regret it! There’s features that’s helped me out a bunch like playlists of different companies you can buy stock in. And my favorite feature which is every stock has a graph feature that says what experts in the field are saying whether to buy, hold, or sell. Super helpful all the way around. I’ve been feeling so much more confident in investing and I’m definitely cheering Alinea and the team on!

I believe that Alinea is the only app that I actually enjoy, makes everything so simple and easy to use. I have used several apps like Robinhood, Fidelty and TD Ameritrade however none of them compare to this app. Alinea made investing so easy and simple. Alinea is created just right by the investors. I would love to give feedback to the creators however everytime I schedule a calendly it says confirm then I never receive a link for the meeting. But I will try one more time!! Super excited and have already told my friends and cousins about Alinea, love it simple and amazing just for Gen-Z.

I have enjoyed using this app to begin building my investment portfolio. I have used other investing apps before that were no where near as user-friendly as this app. I also find that investing and apps associated with it are geared most often to men, this is what makes this app stand out - it is made for us, for women. The ease of investing into “playlists” that feature stocks that are proven to be successful over time and being able to complete a quiz which selects stocks of interest to me are just a couple of the features I love about this app. 10/10 would recommend Alinea to everyone!

this app is a great tool for investment for a person like me who have 0 knowledge about investment. I like the fact that it invest the money for you in different company. I did try other apps before buying crypto here and there but always fail to do so. But this app made it so easy for me. All I have to do is set up my account and link it to my bank so I can do daily investment and they do all the hard work while I enjoy the investment. Love this and 100% recommend it to everyone especially to those a who are illiterate like me about investment.

Alinea is very user friendly and it is as simple as it looks. You are able to track your performance easily and you can even compare investments to other users and even copy theirs. I love their personalized investment playlist as it is tailored to your individual appetite.

My app glitched at the account creation page and the section that had the information about the fee disappeared when I switched to another app to check on something and returned to Alinea . Instead of taking me to the account creation page, it took me to the next step, so I assumed that the fee was not applicable to my account since I didn’t confirm or submit any approval for it. It automatically PROCEEDED ME to the next screen and I thought this would mean my account is just a demo i.e. no investing capabilities. I spoke with support and they aren’t even helping me cancel future subscriptions let alone get a refund for this one because mind you I HAVEN’T EVEN USED A SINGLE SERVICE FROM THEM. So you guys are going to charge $85 and dip? What an awful system.

The automatic investing feature is definitely nice, and I’ve gotten some returns from it. However, Alinea isn’t that intuitive to use imo. I don’t really use the news page but it takes up most of the home page. I would prefer a larger graph layout like Robinhood has right on the front page that show your investments - so you don’t have to click into each one to see them. Overall I think Alinea is a good idea, but it’s not interesting enough for me to use often.

I shouldn’t even be giving Alinea one star since they deserve none.
I was signing in to Alinea writing in my name and age, i didn’t even get to finish signing in since i realized i was not going to use Alinea anyway, keep in mind i never shared a payment method of any kind.
I didn’t think to delete Alinea since the info i entered (my name and age) was not submitted. A day later I get a notification that I was charged 180 dollars to my card from this app. I reach out to the company and they state that they are going to refund me. However, i don’t see how that’s possible unless they are actually admitting to stealing my info since I never shared a card with them.
I explain this concern to them and they state that they are waiting for the payment to process, however my bank states it was processed TWO DAYS AGO. It not only stole my information but about 186 dollars that I don’t have.
They wanted to justify by saying that just by downloading Alinea they warn that there will be a charge made, but I did not see that warning anywhere.

Do not download Alinea !!!! it’s a big scam that has left me money-less.

The straight forward simplicity of Alinea is amazing! They give you just enough relevant information build confidence in investing but not overwhelm you with the details. If you want them however, they also provide educational avenues to learn more about this hard to navigate world. I love that I can invest my money in companies I believe in and who support what I support. It’s clear they spent a lot of time on the apps clean and intuitive interface. I honestly can’t say enough good things about how simple of a process they made it for me. 10/10!

I have to admit that I was skeptical when I saw an ad for this app but I decided to give it a try anyway. I only invested $10 at first just to see if putting more money in was worth it. In just two weeks, I already saw a return! Being a newbie in the world of investing, I love how easy this app makes investing. Well this app took the stress right away, I was even hesitant at first seeing how simple everything was because I had really planned to learn the ins and outs of investing myself without having it all done for me. this app is the perfect balance of guidance and automation, and the easy user interface is an additional plus. I only wish that there was an option to get started with even less funds, it’s reasonable where it is but my industry is currently on strike right now and sometimes people want to get started from scratch. I cannot express how much I love Alinea. I’ve also learnt the most from Alinea compared to others such as Acorns or Robinhood. I feel like this is such a great app for people new to investing or that are terrified of it like myself. It makes it more accessible to the young female generation. But, I do find myself having some trouble at times. Sometimes I feel like I haven’t seen all of this app. I do get a bit confused on how Alinea is formatted. I feel like a video showing all of what this app can do, where each button leads, and where to find certain things would help a lot.

With that said, Alinea is truly wonderful, and I know that with time one can get the hang of, both, Alinea and how to invest.

I had little to no knowledge of investing before using this app. The stock market always felt super abstract—even scary? It felt like putting my money into a void with no understanding of what I was doing and how it was working. Alinea not only acts as a space to invest my money, it also helped to educate me in the process. I love the truly accessible way that knowledge/information is presented to the user, including the interactive models used in Alinea . Information is explained in simple terms for the beginner, and I feel like I was given a patience to learn that other apps, content creators, etc. did not allow beginners. Definitely recommend Alinea, particularly if you’re new to investing and don’t know where to start!

I’m an 18 year old girl in college right now, and this app has empowered me to start investing and becoming more interested in learning about stocks and different companies. I grew up in a fairly conservative household where we never really talked about finances. While my dad works in finance and has his own stock portfolio, he never explained it to me, and would even sometimes talk about how risky it was and how I should never engage in it. I was worried, even as I wanted to start investing.

I came across this app on TikTok and after doing some research, I decided to start of with $10. I love the way that it is so easy to use Alinea and how I can see how the stock has changed over time, but my favorite part of Alinea is the news articles and instagram story type of overview of news. It can sometimes feel really overwhelming to read the financial news because of the level of information, but this app’s sentence-summaries are super intriguing, and it has helped me understand and want to learn more.

It has truly changed my life and given me power to invest and grow in a way that I never would have imagined.

First, I love the story of this company. I’m a college student so knowing that college student started this fund and it is woman-based makes me very happy. Also love how different Alinea is by combining different investments to make what is called an investment playlist. I really enjoy that. As well as seeing what my portfolio looks like throughout the years so on and so forth. When I’ve dealt with other apps, it’s been very complicated and hard for me to decide what companies I want to make small investment into and see if I would gain anything back. But with Alinea, not only does it show you everybody who’s on the board, stakeholders, if you should, or should not invest at this time. I just really appreciate the background knowledge that you get from each company.

Alinea was advertised as a learning tool in investing, however, I just became more confused that in order to learn how to do it, it seemed i was required to invest money already. I downloaded Alinea because I noticed the good reviews and i was interested in LEARNING how to invest.

i didn’t realize upon creating an account I would automatically start a subscription of $120. i do not currently have the money to invest, so I was not planning to use Alinea to begin investing and $120 is substantial loss that I need back.

it seems that even in the other reviews of Alinea that other people experienced this, and I didn’t think there would be a wait time to get in touch with customer service on an APP? I’ve been waiting for an hour for “someone to come back online” but I needed this to be resolved immediately! I also notice that it is stated that they are unable to give refunds but this is such a scam!! So many people lost $120 for an app that they haven’t used. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to use Alinea unless you want to lose $120 for no reason.

So I downloaded Alinea because I’ve been looking for good automated investing apps. I saw this one on TikTok that didn’t seem too bad. Overall getting started and using it was very easy. I did have issues with adding my bank at first but after getting that resolved i haven’t had much to worry about.

It does go really in depth on the investing and what is going on. I think this is great so you get to start learning on your own and not just letting Alinea do everything. I love that you can create your own investing playlists and also use others that Alinea and other users have created.

I would definitely recommend to give it a try.

I’m enjoying Alinea so far! It does cost $120 for an annual membership, and Alinea lets you know that you have a 3-day free trial to cancel Alinea before paying for the membership. I simply wrote this down in my planner so that I could remind myself to cancel, if I wasn’t happy with the service.

But I am! It’s easy to set up recurring deposits and even easier to find companies you’d like to invest in. The personal investment playlist feature is very creative, and I like that you can search other users’ playlists, see how successful they’ve been, and copy their playlist to add to your own.

Alinea creators and developers have made it very easy to begin investing. If you’re not financially ready for the $120 membership fee, that’s understandable! But when you are, this is a great first time investor’s app. Hopefully the creators will add training/educational webinars soon!

I downloaded Alinea to check it out, but after putting my information in I decided it wasn’t for me so I deleted it. I was looking at charges on my bank account yesterday, and I saw they had taken $120 from me without me even using their app. I looked into it and I guess as soon as you put in your information, they take $120 from you for a “membership” that you don’t even agree too. They claim they want to help beginners make money, but it seems like they are taking advantage of their vulnerable audience instead by immediately taking their money and not offering refunds. I did not even finish making an account yet and they took my money from me. I really thought these were people that wanted to help me, and I am extremely disappointed to learn otherwise. I would recommend looking elsewhere for investment help, there are people out there who really want to help you succeed when it comes to investing, but I don’t think this is it.
