This app was working fine for me until a few days ago when I was in the middle of recording something and it crashed on me. I tried to close out of the app and it kept crashing. I turned off my phone and restarted it, hoping it would work but it didn’t. I deleted the app and reinstalled it again but now it keeps giving me an error message about “Topology was destroyed” as I tried to sign into my account. I tried making a new account using a different email and it told me that the email I used has already been used when I only used one email address.

How to fix Riff app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Riff app on iPhone
Update Riff app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Riff iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Riff on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Riff network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Riff Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Riff not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Riff App
1. On android, goto Settings » Riff » click [Force Stop]

Update Riff to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Riff App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Riff » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Riff.

Fix Riff unable to contact server/ Riff internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Riff » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Riff » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Riff
