by You’ll Be Disappointed

I just downloaded Spatial on my oculus quest 2 TODAY and there’s literally no option to customize or create an avatar. I’ve looked up how too and you can’t find those options on Spatial on your phone or on Spatial in the oculus. After the tutorial you’re supposedly “prompted to create an avatar” but that never happened. I’m not playing this game entering worlds when all I have is a pair of floating white hands I don’t even know what I look like to other people it’s very discouraging. This game looks awesome until you actually try it for 10 minutes

Reasons for account deletion:
Very difficult to navigate on IPhone around in any space. If you get stuck in a corner, or any object covers you, you can't relocate yourself and must leave space to restart and go back into the space
I can't change my avatar: when I click "edit" on my account it takes me out of Spatial to the webpage and leaves me there forever spinning with the message "we're loading all the bit.... this may take some time". I waited an hour and tried multiple times on different days and it never changes. I can never change my avatar nor was I promoted to allow set up of my avatar
App and spaces randomly crash. I try loading my art and I get kicked out of my own space
My Art randomly gets deleted from my space.
I set my space so only those with my link can view my art yet I can enter others spaces and delete and edit their entire Art as well as they can mine
Inverted controls on iPhone makes it difficult to navigate. Swiping to move around is you swipe left to go right, right to go left, up to go down, etc. very confusing
Many other bugs and glitches
I have a brand new iPhone 12 and there's just problems with Spatial

I have been waiting for a virtual world like this to come to mobile. Unfortunately, Spatial crashes on my iPad, which is less than a year old. I’ve even restarted and tried to run it as the first app after restarting. I have the latest iPad OS software on this iPad as well, and plenty of storage space available. From what I’ve seen on my Mac, this is a promising start for a virtual world, but I think you need to get your act together better as far as the mobile side of things. Second Life mobile is coming, they previewed the mobile app a couple of months ago, and they have the benefit of lots of years of rich world-building, an established micro currency, and lots of user created items.

My company already uses this app on VR headset and now I’m excited by how even easier it is to join a meeting on iPhone. Now we’ll also be able to expand this app usage across the company since headsets are no longer needed for an interactive experience! Also AR mode is soooo cool! No more Zoom fatigue; long live this app! Great work and I’m excited to see what comes in the next release! Cheers

Spatial generally works OK but needs some work. For one thing that the movement is counterintuitive being defaulted to inverted. Switching to first person view should actually switch the movement controls so that the camera moves the direction that I drag my finger. Also I would like to be able to tap on a piece of art to view it better and see more information and go to a link. This would be helpful for those who are trying to sell NFTs or prints

The main functionality works but only good enough for a minimum viable+ product. At least, on the iPhone 11, the user can’t walk nor toggle from first person as suggested in the tutorials. There also seems to be a problem with the character icon (stick figure - not sure what it does). Every time I click on it Spatial stops executing and displays an error message, forcing me to reboot. There are also some minor issues panning the scene but I think the 3rd person fix should help that a little. I think the system can’t tell what to focus on so other objects tend to stand in the way when rotating the scene 🤷‍♂️.

It is so cool, but I need to modify my avatar to look like me. And also I need to put music but it does not support mp3. There should be option like I can modify the house, adding objects, like doors, change color and adding my own design. There are a lot that need to be improved. Sincerely, it's very interesting. I like it.

Was not force closing and freezing all this time, until yesterday. Now today, the day of my brother’s performance in this app, Spatial decided to freeze and glitch. Happened 3 times yesterday, too. It also keeps kicking me out, and force closing. I switched to the laptop, and i couldn’t control my character from walking in circles and roaming back and forth on the stage smh i had to make myself close it completely out. I tried again from my iphone just now, and got booted again. And most of the room doesn’t load, and stays solid white for some reason. My phone 11 is updated to the latest ios too.

This latest update just made it a lot more difficult to simply navigate. Please please please fix the panning!! Its not what it used to be and not its confusing. Horizontal and vertical pan are opposite. One is inverted and there one isnt. It was perfectly fine before this update. We don’t even get options in settings to adjust that. Please?

I have used Spatial for different events and it works pretty good compared to other ones. I would say that moving around the images and frames is a bit difficult, specially if you accidentally put it behind a wall. Also it would be awesome that you could have video settings like being able to play automatically once you are in a certain distance or let people play the video without having to edited (if you lock the frame of the video you won’t be able to play it or stop it). It’s a bit enjoying when you are working with several ones in an environment.

I was blown away by the fact of creating your own spaces with nfts if known or up& coming artist alike this is a thriving community and I hope it’s here to stay I love that you can create your own space to immerse yourself into as well! Great Job To both Spacial & The artists alike! 💯✊🏽

Not sure what more to say. Seems like it works well, and most features are available right in Spatial . It even has object scanning! I love that. I don’t like the controls however, I wish there was some sort of onscreen joystick or something like that. Moving objects around has been a bit of trouble to get used to but it’s not too bad.

I love Spatial it is really great and easy to set up your gallery, I think needs a better social skills, like the invitations through your contacts in your Facebook account or the ones in the headset, emailing links is not practical.

I need to explore more the possibilities of art sales or NFT.

I really love this idea of the Virtual spaces and a virtual gallery. But on the IPhone the interface needs to be improved. I find myself having trouble zooming in and out snd then my view is behind a wall.
Also I find at times the voices speed up and then slow down.
Once these bugs are fixed this will be the definitive way to do conventions, shows, etc.

I’ve loved this app since I loaded it up on my Quest 2 a year ago. I model custom environments in SketchUp, light them in Blender, and upload them as custom spaces in this app to experience some of the coolest VR experiences out there.

If you aren’t a designer, visit other peoples spaces for free! This is the best VR app I use!

First thing first, I appreciate this app still keeps free tier. I started using this with my artist community and they own NFTs. I am planning workshops using Photogrammetry apps and how to build your own gallery with them. This is awesome idea.

I first started using this app a little over a year ago. The full immersion is something to be in awe of for sure. Overall a great experience attached to a relatively aligned and peaceful community. As metaverse goes, I prefer this space over any other. It’s still pretty limited as far as making friends and such but it doesn’t really hinder the experience very much.
