Signed up because they had a good 200 dollar bonus program going if you make direct deposits of 1,000 for two consecutive months. Come January 1st, they change the terms of the deal and make it 1,500 for two consecutive months starting at the end of the new promotion period which is January 31st. I.e the clock has restarted for people who have been making 1,000 direct deposits for a couple of payroll cycles.

Talk about a total nightmare for a “bank” and I use the term bank very loosely when referencing this app. I had a personal account and then we opened one for my mom and funded it from my external bank account. They waited until the transfer was completed and the debit card arrived (cancelled already mind you) to inform us that not only would they be closing her account because it goes against their Ts & Cs to use an external account to fund the opening of a new this app account if it’s in someone else’s name regardless if they authorized it or not. Ok fine whatever. Well then they inform me by email (now bear in mind that our this app accounts were NOT connected in any way) that they are canceling and closing my account as well! I don’t know who came up with the business model behind this atrocity posing to be a bank but after doing some research I wouldn’t trust them with 1 cent of my money ever again. It took me filing a dispute with my external bank to force them to send back the $200 they were trying to hold hostage. NEVER AGAIN! they should be shut down and I have contacted the BBB and made them well aware of the sketchy and unethical way they are conducting business.

The entire concept of this bank is fantastic! I use Spiral not only to follow up on my transactions, but also as a one-stop-shop, allowing me to find a desired charity and donate to it. Spiral is very intuitive, colorful and informative.

I’m ecstatic about Spiral! Banking and donationing-This is not what I think of when I think of brick and mortar banks or financial institutions. I’m so happy about this new app! Download it!

We all have a bank account because we have to, but other than stashing money or getting a direct deposit the service is purely and only link to us. Nothing beyond that, this banking up has exactly all the benefits of a regular bank with the only difference that you are actually contributing to your community. I love it!

As someone who worked for a major financial institution for a decade, it is nice to be a part of a new bank that cares about its consumers and has created such a positive way to do banking and creating a community of givers. What an extremely kind establishment, so glad I joined.

This is an amazing product, I love how easy is to donate to different causes. It allow me to start a savings account and round up my change for charities I cara about. And the plus? Spiral is really intuitive and easy to use. Keep up the good work!

Super easy to use Spiral to track all expenses and donations. Links easily to other accounts and just very intuitive. You don’t need to have donations coming out of a million accounts or set reminders for yourself anymore. Spiral does it all for me. Very happy!

I’m a giver who donates when something inspires me. That leaves me with donations out of multiple accounts and poor record keeping. With the this app app, I search for my charity, donate and within seconds my donation is on it’s way. This provides me the ability to keep all of my donations in one place.

Love this bank’s concept. Spiral is really easy to use and makes it easy to see all my transactions as well as donate to any charity. Going to use it to track my side business’ expenses and donations, so I can easily file taxes next year.
