Dimensional: Personality Test Reviews

This is a fun app, and for most people I wouldn’t take it too seriously. I think an option to retake assessments every 3 months would be a good addition, because people change over time. The one issue I have with it that bumped it down to 4 stars is the cognitive functions. I’ll use myself as an example, because I’m the only one out of my friends who use Dimensional but also delve into mbti and such frequently.

I feel as though the cognitive functions assessment uses stereotypes like that of 16personalities. Liking a clean environment to live in doesn’t make a person an INTJ. That is a stereotype. To include that in a cognitive function test makes me think the assessment wasn’t curated with well thought out information. I think if jungian cognitive functions were used, such as extroverted/introverted thinking, feeling, intuition, and sensing, the assessment might be more accurate for people. If you have a different result than what other assessments online have given you, just know that the assessment here is unfortunately not as accurate as what you might’ve encountered on something like the sakinorva test.

I love this app!! I often feel disappointed with shallow insights from other personality tests, but Dimensional does a great job of summarizing parts of my personality that sometimes I don’t even realize. Seeing the rarity of certain traits is a cool feature (my archetype, Adapter, is ultra rare 🤩). I also love the friend feature, its a great way to have important conversations with your friends about how you function. Each test has clearly worded questions and gives you the opportunity to give feedback as you progress. Overall, it’s very enjoyable to use and it’s so fun take the tests and learn more about yourself, not to mention it being free!

Personally, I’ve enjoyed my experience with Dimensional. Unfortunately, it was cut short with an abrupt end. Besides the tests, there isn’t all too much to do. This is fine, however, because of the detailed information given upon test completion. I must admit that I did finish all of the tests in a couple of hours to an hour and a half, but it was content-full nonetheless. After about six to eight tests or so, I got a message where the “next” button once was. The message simply stated that “I was all done for now”. Because of the vague statement, I assumed that maybe Dimensional wanted me to slow down, and I’ll be able to continue in a day or so. A week went by, and the message remains. I decided to take the hint and assume that I had finished all of the tests Dimensional had to offer. Unless you plan on adding more tests soon, I’d suggest you take the message down and give us something less vague. Thank you.

I have literally spent too much time that I should be using for school work to answer personality quizzes about myself but with this one I actually found one I really like. I got all my friends to get it also so I can see our compatibility! There are a few kinks that I am working with them to fix but over all it’s great! (By working with them to fix I really just mean I’m messaging them on Instagram because I don’t actually know anything about how to help them)

Please return to the old designs or develop some other way of improving the UI. While the UI was still somewhat unorganized before at least it was nice to look at, now it’s unorganized AND ugly. The update said it developed some new way of categorizing elements based on a color system, but this information is given to us once and never shown again. Maybe allow us to sort by this new color type? The new symbols added are also really confusing and there’s no easy way to reference a key or something similar.
I think the new design is really ugly to be honest and the new symbols have left me confused without a way to check what they mean. Love Dimensional and all the tests, just now feel completely overwhelmed trying to figure out what the heck I’m looking at on my profile.

cognitive functions are not based on the individual functions, but based on letter and not the actual mbti cognitive functions,(NE,Ni,FE,FI,TE,TI,SE,SI) introverted/extroverted intuition; Extroverted/Introverted feeling; introverted/extroverted thinking; extroverted/introverted sensing; which can cause MBTI mistypes especially between introverted and extroverted, because you can be cognitively extroverted and typed as an introvert IE common mistype will be INTP/ENTP; but other than that Dimensional has very good content. i am a blantant obvious ne dom and i typed as an intp.. also, INFJ… according to Dimensional, is a COMMON personality type, and that is innacurate because as it stands, INFJ is the most rare personality type making up about 1-2% of the population, and that screams innacuracy.

I’ve had a notification for two new insights that I would really love to read, but can’t. Every time I click on it the screen just continues to load. It’s not an issue with my network or wifi. I’m not even sure how else to navigate the “insights” other than from the notification page. Also, the idea of having everything unlocked when you add and invite more friends to Dimensional is a little frustrating. Not everyone is going to be interested or down for this. Due to my friends lack of interest in Dimensional , I have to miss out on reading ?

I was surprised at how well it reflected who I am. Great experience, simple to use & has nice ascetics! Be sure to be as accurate & honest with yourself as you can. I noticed occasional grammatical errors but you can tell what was missing. It helped me see things I need to work on. It took me approximately 5 hours to complete over the last week. Love Dimensional & will be sharing with everyone! Get this while it’s still free!

Honestly it’s crazy how accurate this is. It’s the first personality assessment that felt accurate to me. It also has a great feature to compare and contrast two people that is really eye opening. When two people take the assessments, Dimensional offers insights into your relationship, and where you might encounter friction based on your personalities, and why they happen. It’s INSANE how accurate it is.

I’ve always been obsessed with personality tests since I was a child. Dimensional definitely tops all others. I do wish it wasn’t required to invite others for access to certain things (I don’t have anyone to invite lol) or maybe if there was another social section where you can add others who have similar types to yours or maybe even opposite? I don’t know, just a suggestion.

This is the best personality test app I’ve found so far. It’s very comprehensive; I find that all the results I get are accurate. The formatting and appearance so smooth and satisfying, and the quizzes are enjoyable for me to take. Dimensional helped give me some insight on who I am as a person. Overall, I love the quizzes and design of Dimensional and I definitely would recommend this to anyone who likes to take personality tests.

This is the first app that I’ve taken the time to write a review for. I recently was studying enneagram types in my psychology class but this takes it too a whole different and better level. The UI is also amazing and I will be recommending this to my close friends and family.

Dimensional just nailed my personality. Not like an Oracle or something but in a very knowledgeable way. I really like use of Periodic table Elements as a metaphor for the type of different personality elements. Nice app and a healthy amount of content, however, it definitely requires a bit of work in terms of fixing spelling errors and overall user experience.

Just getting into Dimensional and enjoying the experience. It asks you to rate yourself on a myriad of statements then uncovers and explains various aspects of your personality based on the results. I appreciate methods that help me better understand my own tendencies, and Dimensional has lots to explore and seems pretty accurate so far.

Dimensional is tidy, easy to navigate, and has multiple features that are fun to read. It is also surprisingly accurate in getting the gist of you as a person from your career interests to your love life. The way Dimensional presents its data is simple. No need to hop through hoops to review your results.

I am actually in love with Dimensional. I recently downloaded it to know more about my self and I thought it was gonna be like one of those apps but know I was surprised. The flow and everything is just perfect. I really recommend it. Keep it up dev.

Dimensional helps me take a look at myself in a perspective I’ve never had before. It gave me insightful advice based on my personality type. It was very, very valuable. But it was also sooo fun. To understand more about myself, and fill out the short quizzes was really enjoyable.

Dimensional is just awesome, first of all it’s 100% free. No In app purchases. I love that they give you ways to improve your weaknesses and use your strengths to your advantage. I recommend it to all of my friends. Learn about yourself to Improve your life!!

I’ve wasted a lot of time filling out random personality tests on random webpages but had Dimensional been available then I would have saved hours.

This has opened my eyes to many things I never knew about myself. The cognitive functions quiz is also so accurate! I will recommend Dimensional to all of my friends.

Dimensional is amazing if you're into learning about yourself as a person (or your friends potentially in the future.. update coming?). Even if you're not, Dimensional can only benefit you (if you're honest). It has a short series of tests you take and displays the key elements of your personality that you may not even REALIZE you have. Before you even sign up they explicitly tell you they will NOT be selling your data too which i know tons of people are concerned about, especially in this day and age.

Amazingly clean and focused. Easy to follow and tons to explore to go in depth in your own personality. It’s been spot on in describing things that are important to me so that’s been motivating me to keep going.

Dimensional is so helpful and accurate!! It really made me think about myself and my personality. It also gave me so much helpful information. You won’t regret downloading!!

I just downloaded but so far it’s already so much more than other personality apps! Plus it’s free! I’m excited too see what else I unlock as I continue!
