INTJ

I’ll be honest, I have taken a couple tests like this in the past, and granted it has been a while...but I was slightly shocked and pleasantly surprised by this one. It wasn’t at all the results I went in to it expecting, and yet after reading what was included in the results, I cannot believe how on point it was in describing me (all emotional issues from personal traumas aside). So I paid to see the career results, since I’ve been struggling to figure out what direction to take in my undergraduate studies. Now, I’ve taken some tests on that in the past and recently even, but none of them ever gave me a list where I literally could see myself not only having such a career, but actually finding it interesting, fulfilling, worthwhile, and enjoyable. This one did that. Out of the list, which was pretty long (but all very very closely aligned), I could really only see two that I was not picturing working out. And the top choice in it was seriously the exact subject I’ve been tossing back and forth for the last while, but second guessing my abilities in it (likely because I also have horrible self esteem at times-again with the emotional issues).

Anyway, probably this is an unnecessarily long and oddly detailed review, but all in all, 4.5 outta five if I could rate it properly.

I’m amazed

I was looking online for a personality test online because in a stand up routine I was watching on Instagram, a girl was talking about a date she went on and how the first thing he made her do was take a Myers-Briggs personality test. So I was like “Im curious to see what a “Myers-Briggs” personality test is because it sounds cool so I looked it up and the website for PersonalityMatch was the first thing I saw it said free test. So I’m I’m dang, this looks legit and it free. I go in and I direct myself to the test and take it. These questions sounded legit and reasonable and not like “On a Saturday night are more likely to 1. Cozy up with book and warm tea 2. Go to an ecstasy rave at a desert.” So I’m impressed and go to see my result. It tells me to enter an email but it says optional so I don’t because I don’t like spam. At this point I can’t believe it didn’t force me to put in my email or refuse to give my results until I did. But then… it happened. The next thing I read are, “Now click CONTINUE and on the next page install our brand-new app this app* to see your test results.” And I respected that so much that I had to get it. And I’m a nurturer, which cool I guess.

Worth the effort

As it basically is, the information is enough for you to feel satisfied and have a well round general picture of your personality type and how it relates to your life. What is really interesting and gives me the confidence to recommend this to others is the expanded information available as an in app purchase. Once you have a match that you are interested in the overview turns to a more in depth explanation of how your differing functions can best be approached so that you might better understand your match more completely. Written in a very helpful and direct manner it really opens the possibilities and eases any internal questions you might be pondering about your match. Meeting people through dating apps can be a challenge for many folks. This approach really changes the entire process. Well done! Very well done.

Good ideas spoiled

The format and look of PersonalityMatch are great. And the idea of matching people is interesting. The problem is that the test offered is overly simplistic, and like many online MBTI tests, it has an intuitive bias. I’ve spent many years researching MBTI in order to find my correct type. I now know I am an ISTP. The cognitive functions were a game changer. However, this test routinely gives me INTP as a result. Why? Well, because it asks questions like, ‘creative or conventional’ when trying to ascertain the S/N dichotomy. The only sensors that are conventional are introverted sensors. Extroverted sensors, like ISTP’s, are not conventional. Realistic maybe, but traditions and conventions don’t interest them. So, I’d answer creative, it’d mark me as an intuitive, and then I’d be getting INTP instead of ISTP. This is not accurate at all. It has no understanding of the functions. Which makes all the fun social elements of PersonalityMatch null and void. Plus, I’m pretty sure they’re just using all this information to sell data to advertising companies... but whatever.

Accurate

I got PersonalityMatch because I saw in the reviews that it was really accurate and it is true. I have been dealing with thoughts about what truly gives life to my life. I want to be able to work in something that will give me life after I graduate and not just something people expect me to work on because of my degree. I want to be able to see all of my possible options regards what I could do. That’s why I went ahead and purchase the career path. It gives you the best career matches according to your results and it also gives you a list of the ones you should stay away home. It is a great app.

Honestly i am impressed

I actually stumbled upon the test online and had no clue above PersonalityMatch . After I finished and downloaded PersonalityMatch it’s very spot on as long as you are completely honest about you’re answers. I ended up paying to the in-app purchases for a couple more categories and I definitely think that it was worth it because the info it gave me was very eye opening with letting me know my positive traits and where I shine also with my downfalls and things that truly hinder me and how to beat manage my like with my personality. I usually don’t write reviews, unless if a application has over exceeded my expectations in a positive manner.

I love learning about me!

I love learning about my personality! For the most part, everything that was detailed about me from the personality test is spot on. It’s intriguing to me and I will test myself occasionally as I try and improve myself.

With me being a perfectionist, logical, and organized, I’ve noticed that there are some misspellings and grammar errors in your apps’ text. I recommend the editors of PersonalityMatch re-read all content and fix all grammatical and spelling errors so those of us that are picky readers can be relieved. :)

Not worth your time and money!

I took the time to take their test. Test came out ok, but the career section was locked behind a paywall. $2.99 to give a general list of possible career fields that I might find a job match and a list of poor matches. In the poor match list I found a career field that I have a degree and experience in that I greatly enjoyed.

PersonalityMatch lies and I can find EVERYTHING that I found on PersonalityMatch for FREE online. I was hoping for a career/job matching service and not a short general personality test (that’s not detailed enough to begin to be accurate) and a basic list of fields. I want a better job not a vague generalized “understanding” of who I am...I know who I am and what I’m about...I want a great paying job and a good home/job balance.

I'm ENFP

Not ENTP. Actually it's not the fact that I had to take the test twice to get spot on that bothers me. To be honest PersonalityMatch lacks for me because I know my type but it does not dig deep unless you pay also it does not give you any graphs on your relationships with coworkers, family and romantic partners of different types. I'm guessing you would have to invite friends to find out. Sadly when you already know someones type and don't want to invite them because they already took the 16 personalities test so that is a step back. I really would like an app that doesn't just scratch the surface like most.

I now understand who I am

PersonalityMatch has brought me so much clarity! I tested as INFJ and it’s exactly who I am. I actually had tears in my eyes reading it because sometimes I feel so misunderstood by others but I also feel like I’m always caring, kind and helpful to others but all they see is my bad traits. This opened my eyes to not only my personality but gave me information about steps to take to improve on my negative traits! Thank you so much

It needs work

I paid the 2.99 to unlock the career path which is the whole reason I downloaded PersonalityMatch and took the test (it wasn’t clear your have to go through all that and then pay to see results from the link or description) just to find that it didn’t work and was charged but got no results. Also tried to leave feedback and received another error saying the server failed. Now I have to go through Apple to get a refund and wasted about 15 minuets on this entire process. PersonalityMatch is exactly the reason why I usually don’t follow links and download random apps. Smh, lesson learned.

On a more positive side, the results of the actually personality test seemed to be pretty accurate.

Good Foundation

I will ask my grandson to upload PersonalityMatch n take the test. At worst, he will get a good idea of his strengths n weaknessess. He will get the two reports also, but only if he agrees to what his profile says. That can help him in decisions affecting his future life paths. I have used this info in my life for over 25 years. It has always fascinated all those I introduced it to.

Wish it asked three times the questions so the result would be more accurate.

Privacy an outdated concept?

My daughter just clicked into a link for a free personality test in Safari and on completion it then says you need to install PersonalityMatch. Why didn’t you say so before? Then it wants a sign in from Facebook or an email because it wants you to have an account. Umm - do I need to not only give you my personality results but now you want to associate this to a specific person? This is wrong on so many levels especially since my daughter is a minor. NOT ok.

Some people are ok with a lack of privacy but not for everyone. Only do this if you’re ok giving out your personality info to complete strangers.

Put money on it lol

I don’t like to spend money on things but I had to because every single thing was was so me! Even if something wasn’t EXACTLY me (because everybody is different) I have friends that are like me but have the traits I might’ve been missing as well as the ones I do have. I love it and I love learning more about myself and learning about others on the way lol 10/10 from me 🤗

Neat I guess

For an app centered around personality the name doesn’t have much personality lol but overall I love it great concept and it was implemented well but I have one gripe… the messages never update. I have to close PersonalityMatch and reopen it to see my messages, really makes it hard to use, would use it a ton more otherwise.

I loved it, really accurate!

The questions were very straightforward, which was very surprising. What surprises me more is how accurate the data came out for me (me being a ISFJ) It gave a lot of details based off of my answer choices, which really baffled me,,

In conclusion, PersonalityMatch was really nice, and an interesting way to find out more about myself

So far, So good

I found my results to be about 98% spot on, so that's success to me. I decided to purchase the Career results and have found them to be accurate. Sometimes when applying or interviewing for a job, it's difficult to put your selling points into words. I am happy to report that this module does that for me.

Similar To Leadership Development Program for Admirals and Generals

Needs optional, longer Meyer’s Briggs analysis
Needs free way to estimate personality of bosses and friends.
Needs optional, analysis of interactions between your personality type and other types
This would provide immediate, actionable information for your customers. Also, a couple of bucks for you.

Spot On!!

I took several personality tests to see how they compared to one another. I have to say the results were pretty consistent but this test was spot on! I was amazed by the detail the test pegged me and my personality traits. I will definitely use this information in both my personal and professional relationships.

Eh... I want more

I like PersonalityMatch . It has been useful. However I would love PersonalityMatch if it asked more questions from the start in the test, OR if it provided ANOTHER test after convincing you that you have to pay in order to see what career you'd be good at. Career is the the sole purpose of why I found PersonalityMatch in the first place.
SO! On that note, so far PersonalityMatch has been a tad interesting, a bit informative and a tad bit of a boost on my confidence.

My review

The website on google said it was totally free.
I take the test then am told I need to download an app. Only to find out it is not completely free.
Go figure. But PersonalityMatch is easy to use and testing was accurate.
I’m going to read my results then delete it.
For people who want to spend money they will really like PersonalityMatch.
