App and bikes are ridden with errors. They keep canceling recurring plans without notice. They show inexistent and broken bikes as available, even weeks after reporting. They kept charging for the non-electric recurring plan even though they were in practice discontinued in Madrid (zero bikes, let alone working ones, in entire neighborhoods). When bikes work, prices are very expensive, and monthly minutes plan are only marginally cheaper. They charge a “non compliant parking” fee when they shouldn’t, then you have to go through hoops to get it returned

Misguidance and Misinformation

RideMoviSmartSharingService is not user friendly in the sense of clear information. There is no clear information in regard to the price the user is going to be charged nor any specification on price per minute in that matter.

After reading the user guide there is still no information at all about the price the user is going to be charged. (At least in Barcelona, Spain where I’m having this issue).

The only time the Movi app mentions price per minute of usage is when registering a payment method and indicates that you can ride as low as 1€ per 20 min. No indication of which type of bicycle the promotion applies to.

Very unhappy to be heavily misguided specially on my first ride! I am currently communicating with customer support to try and solve this issue.

I do not recommend RideMoviSmartSharingService.

Cable unlock code not provided Madrid

I had to pay 6€ for a ten minute ride and then RideMoviSmartSharingService took 3 efforts to lock and configure an end to my ride! That was so stressful. I had to enter a coffee shop to wait for WiFi and it took 10 minutes to activate RideMoviSmartSharingService to lock successfully.

Cannot cancel subscription

I went on a short trip to Barcelona in June, used their bike, and now I’m being charged a monthly subscription fee. I cannot cancel this subscription because I live in the USA. And the application doesn’t work in the USA. I’ve tried to dispute the charges yet I continue getting a monthly charge on my credit card. There is no way to contact RideMovi. Do not use

Watch out - recurring charges

My husband and I used RideMoviSmartSharingService while we were on holiday in Barcelona. We bought 25 mins or something for 4 euros. We thought that was it, left our holiday and deleted RideMoviSmartSharingService . Now it is charging us every month and we did not agree to a subscription nor did we authorize these charges. And now we cannot edit the account since we are in another country...

I have been trying to report a bicycle on my list charge it has no pedals and no way to lock the bike you to know I did like it. I left because I had a disappointment I did not know I need to take a photo. Please report the last bike and please do not charge

I traveled to Italy and saw these Ridemovi bikes on the street. They had a QR code to scan to initiate the app installation and their service. I traveled from Canada and I did not have a local number to verify their code and my Canadian number did not receive the code, I could not finish the registration and obviously I could not use their bike service. However, a few days later, I got an bank alert saying that there were multiple transactions with Ridemovi. It happened so quickly that I was able lock my bank card after three transactions by Ridemovi. I still had the Ridemovi app so I checked what was going on and I saw that this random person with random information used my google pay information to purchase a whole bunch of services. Ridmovi app shows where the ride is being used at and I noticed this scammer was in Bologna, Italy while I was in Milano , Italy. I collected all the proofs and sent in an inquiry for the refund and immediate lock down of this hacked or abused account. Fortunately, I did some research and I was able to lock the abused account and no more additional fraudulent charges. It took several days for them to receive a response. Since I already sent in all the proofs / information, I expected to get my refunds but Ridemovi started asking all these 21 questions including my credit card and ID picture. I sent in all those and after few days, Ridemovi said they will refund it if they can have my credit card and ID picture. Despite sending all those private information, Ridimovi did not care and changed the story and said I will need to go the bank to get refunds. My conclusion is Ridimovi steals your information to put random charges on your credit card when you simply scan the QR code. This is completely BS when I already know so many companies in Europe are fraudulent and fake. Scanning QR code on their bike means your private information will get stolen and they do not give a F. The following is Ridimovi support response which is full of lies and deception. Please DO NOT USE RIDEMOVI unless you want your private information and money stolen. DO NOT SCAN THE QR CODE ON THEIR BIKE.

I rode scooters in Lisbon more than 10 times by now and always park near the “P” sign as close as possible. And recently I started to get charges (last one came for the ride I made 5 days earlier) blaming me I parked incorrectly. The app is inconvenient because it doesn’t show the exact area around the “P” sign in the app and most of the time the parking spots are not visible on the site — you have to carefully and anxiously try to leave the scooter using the GPS and hoping that you don’t miss. For example in the Bolt app you clearly see the area and it warns you if you try to leave outside of it. The Ridemovi on the other side WARNS YOU ALWAYS, not regarding you parked right or wrong. That is really frustrating when they charge you and do not provide any evidence why did they do so even after appealing! They just say like “you did parking wrong, we see it”. I WILL DEFINITELY WON’T USE IT BECAUSE IT IS SO DISAPPOINTING, BECAUSE I TRY MY BEST AND GET CHARGED, SO I AM NOT FEELING SAFE TO RENT USING RIDEMOVI IN THE FUTURE!

I have been charged multiple times 4.5 x 2 and 5 euros for just one ride. And its impossible to remove my credit card from the system. In addition to this when the bike is out of battery, its harder to ride but you pay the same ...

They are a complete RIP OFF regarding Parking Fines. The app says to park in a designated P zone in Barcelona, when you park there and take a photo, they charge you 3+ euro and say you parked illegally. It seems their P zone is wherever they decide. No clarity in the app, poor excuses through customer service. RIP OFF don’t use them
