Wavve Boating: Easy Marine GPS Reviews

WavveBoating is amazing and goes beyond my expectations! I love the step by step of how to use WavveBoating and each of its functions for beginners such as myself! WavveBoating has every single available dock logged around me whether it’s for all the local popular well known spots or if it’s the small hidden docks that are not often used, WavveBoating has them all marked! I love the weather/wind prediction aspect so you’re always aware of the current and potential future conditions. Also love that you can enter your boat size into WavveBoating and it tells you in the what parts of the water are safe and deep enough to travel in and what parts are not deep enough for your boat, and that it changes based on the tides of that time! Overall I highly recommend and If you are a frequent boater WavveBoating is well worth the yearly subscription!

I have been using WavveBoating for well over 3 years now and it is absolutely incredible. The functionality and interface are rock solid and SIMPLE. You’re not going to be scrolling through various pages, trying to find the information you need. As a professional captain, I have used a lot of charting apps and software. Wavve is, hands down, the easiest and most intuitive nautical navigation app you can find. 5 out of 5 Stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love WavveBoating but the subscription is not “family sharing” compatible. So the subscription is under my husband‘s Apple account but I can’t put it on my phone when I vote without him. We utilize family sharing and most apps allow this. Please enable

WavveBoating is great and then they updated it and the canals that I live in disappeared off the map. They were able to get it updated but it took several weeks. They were pretty easy to work with about it but it’s very disappointing the issues with the map for several weeks.

I am fairly new to boating and marine navigation charts. I was so grateful for WavveBoating last Saturday when I was in unfamiliar waters and unsure of which channels to follow. I am in SW Florida and was thrilled with the simplicity and accuracy of the information provided. Like the navigation in my vehicle, WavveBoating tracked my progress so I couldn’t get confused on where I was and what markers I should follow or expect next. Great value and so easy to use for a beginner!

WavveBoating was a great find. I lived on Lake Michigan for many years. I’ve done plenty of boating and fishing along the lake. WavveBoating brings a lot of different tools and knowledge about the shoreline, features, weather, etc and puts it all in one place. I am learning a lot about an area I thought I already knew well. I really like that I can find other inland features such as boat launches as well.

Not sure if it’s just me, but WavveBoating seems slower than it ought to. Not unusable in its slowness but slower than would be ideal. Works well otherwise though

I can’t really tell if WavveBoating has promise because after signing up you’re forced into the subscribe now. They do offer a free trial, but still. Saw nothing and not interested signing up or starting a free anything if I cannot see the basics.

Ty for responding and offering me a trial. I understand Apple has limitations. But perhaps let your would-be users USE WavveBoating and see it before asking to sign up and start subscription?

Purchased WavveBoating and service to help in new waters I hadn’t navigated.
I had a few, self induced struggles, to start. A message sent to their help desk was answered by one of WavveBoating developers who offered a phone session to help.
I have never encountered such comprehensive service from an app developer!!!!

Love WavveBoating! My husband fishes and we use our boat with the kids in the summer. It’s super easy to read and navigate, and has a ton of helpful actions. Locating ports, starring locations, recording trips via GPS, and weather details hour to hour including effect on waves.

WavveBoating is much better designed in my opinion to the competitors. If you want to get more users and referrals, I suggest adding a limited use for free users. Overall though, this has potential to be the go-to boating navigation app.

WavveBoating has tons of different features. And the subscription price is amazing for everything it offers. It can help you find spots to fish, where to anchor, the weather for the day, even the height of the waves in the water. It’s pretty cool.

This product would be perfect for people that like two bow in fish and know exactly what’s going on in the water it’s it’s just not for me. The layout of WavveBoating was very lovely though.

The interface is excellently made, very easy to use and easy to understand. No problems so far.

This application is very useful to plan routes and easy to customize. Its interface is fresh and simple. I hope it improves a lot as more places are recognized and more people use WavveBoating.

I purchased WavveBoating because it said Editors Choice on WavveBoating Store. I now assume Apple’s criteria is primarily design and UI, not subject relevant functionality.

WavveBoating is cute but really seems geared to newbies only. Doesn’t provide basic navigation information like real-time course/speed over ground, cross track error, distance to next, eta data to next or final waypoint, etc.

Boating has never been easier. I use the maps here more than anything, but to connect with friends is fun too. I highly recommend joining.

I use the wave app on my waverunners and also when I take a boat out with my boat club. If you’re just cruising or if you plan a route, it’s simple to use and very helpful.

Like the look of WavveBoating and has all the necessary places pointed out as well. Would like to edit a saved route without having to delete the all the points up to there. Sandbars move around here.

I am a relatively new boater and WavveBoating is a must have. Whether I’m plotting a new destination or exploring new water WavveBoating gives me absolute confidence. I’d recommended WavveBoating to any boater.

It works quite nice on my phone. I've tried many similar apps I found on Appstore but this one is the best. All the other ones are very hard to figure out and lack of information if compared to Wavve

Based on real time data from boaters , Wavve provides me with the most accurate information about all point of interests around me

Like Waze for the water, so much easier than normal charting apps. And when someone else wants to drive, I can just pull it up and tell them to avoid the red ;)

Use it everytime I go to a new water. All the information on map is very high accuracy thanks to the community of all boaters around the world

Best app for marine navigation bar none! In-app purchases are also well priced and actually increase functionality and usefulness. Must buy for boaters

Such a good app overall, just wondering why they offered only 14 days trial instead of 30 days or more

You offer 14 day free trail but I will not enter my cc without be able to play with it for at least 48 hours to see if it is worth me paying for. I am sure you lose a lot of people that way. You may want to give a day or two to review . Just saying

Garbage app that constantly takes you back to your current location to do anything. Impossible to plot a course without actually being in the location that you want to go to (what the hell is the point in that?). Useless app that wants to charge you and it’s a multi-step cancellation process.

It didn’t have the price when I downloaded WavveBoating , now I can’t cancel it, which I want to do. this app developer was quite helpful in getting my subscription cancelled. Thanks.

I sail around the cost of South Africa and have found this to be an excellent app to back up my navigation

It’s like Waze but on the water! I’ve always thought Navionics looked archaic, woot for a modern alternative!

I've been navigating for decades. WavveBoating is helpful in real time and for trip planning. Worth it.

WavveBoating may save your life if you’re in the range of: close enough to get reception and dumb enough to go out that far with it...

I bought it because it flaunted river navigation “as easy as waze” and it still says I’m on top of the lines I dropped 3 miles ago.

Getting your money back is an even more embarrassing story.

Just don’t get it...
there’s so many better apps out there that I wish I would have tried first, in retrospect.
