I actually finally accomplished some new year’s goals, and I have this app, in part, to thank

So, we’re nearing the end of the calendar year, and most years, this was the time I’d get bummed out about having not completed any of the goals I set out to compete, and I’d start to think about what I’d plan for the next year. This year, that’s not the case. Some reasons.

1. This year involved a quite sudden change of scenery and pace, which helped me sort of create a schedule out of thin air, and made it easier to get away from old patterns, I think. (In early January, I got out of quarantine, having arrived at a new location for work, where I’ve been since.)

2. ADHDOrganizerPlanner, with all its different ways of helping the user track stuff, kept me using it, while other apps I’ve tended to use a ton for a week and drop very quickly.

3. I set pretty realistic goals, for example, to run 50 miles. Well, all I had to do was run a mile a week, which I ended up doing, and I’m currently at 101. Second, I set out to read 50 books this year, but I count audiobooks, because I retain just as much from them as I retain from print books, usually, and, counting about 50 audiobooks, I’ve reached 60 books this year, most of which I really enjoyed and impacted my life and thinking in positive ways.

So yeah, get ADHDOrganizerPlanner, pay whatever it is to get the full version, and go crazy.

ADHD Friendly

Having ADHD is not a constant and for everybody the experience is different. But there are some unifying elements that I think most people who suffer from ADHD can agree upon and that is time managment and not only making goals for yourself but actually remembering both to attend to them and that you set them in the first place.

This is where timecap becomes extremely useful, it wont solve the problem but it will definitely help. It keeps me focused and on track. It's like a butler just making sure I remember what those goals were, and doesn't reprimand me if I fail or forget.

I would like a bit more dicipline from it though since it doesn't seem to notify me when I'm forgetting, but that might be a failure on my part and not knowing how to make it do exactly that. It's only an app and not my own personal Alfred.

I'd recommend it though to anyone that wants to get a better overview of how they want to spend their time and especially if you are like me, have trouble sticking to your goals and/or remembering them. I'd like to add that I'm using the premium version but I'm also all for paying for stuff that works.

It won't transform your life but it can 100% help, if you use it correctly. Either way the responsability always ends with you.

Pretty nice!!

Its really nice and pretty easy to navigate through though I think start times and end times for goals/things to be done would be an amazingly helpful thing to help establish a routine. Like let’s say for online school assignments I could put class start time 1:00pm end time 2:00pm and then it could let me know by some sort of alarm or notification when this goal needs to be started or ended. I think this could not only help establish routine but would help people make sure they don’t overwork themselves. It could help a lot with peoples schedules so they could form habits they find difficult to form, and find the time to do so.

I personally struggle with habits and my schedule on a day to day basis and have yet to find something to help me with this problem. I haven’t had the time to find myself a planner that helps me, but if an app were able to do this I think it would also help plenty. Thank you for ADHDOrganizerPlanner!

Deleted my other Habit tracker apps

There are a surprising number of ways ADHDOrganizerPlanner can be used. Aside from checking activities off your list, you can classify habits under “Goal” or “Limit”. That got me considering the things I should be cutting down on (like coffee intake), in addition to what I’d like to incorporate.

What might be the most interesting aspect is the “Time Tracker” option. For instance, if your “Goal” is exercising 4 hours a week, a stopwatch (under that activity) will be set for that amount. You then start & stop the timer with each workout. No need to guess how long your session was or open a separate app to time yourself. The timer will even continue if you go over the goal amount. The same thing applies if you want to “Limit” time spent on something (like social media use).

Since I just started using ADHDOrganizerPlanner , I have yet to see if the Time Tracker is cumulative. It would be cool to see how much time was spent on something indefinitely.

As I said in the title, I deleted all the other Habit Tracker apps I had on my phone after playing around with this one. For some reason ADHDOrganizerPlanner just seems more motivating.

Love it so far! But needs much more

I love ADHDOrganizerPlanner so far! I have the full version and it’s great for keeping track of everything. I have three jobs, am in grad school, and I’m a classical musician...and I’m also trying to lose the pandemic weight - so I’m keeping track of my separate work hours, my practice hours, my workouts, my eating, my mental habits, lots of stuff. It’s awesome to have it all in one place.

That being said, the biggest annoyance at the moment is that I can’t manually add minutes/hours into the timers or goals. Say I start practicing and 15 mins into I remember to turn on ADHDOrganizerPlanner’s timer - then I can’t manually enter the extra 15min. It only counts the time it counts. Add up extra minutes like that here and there and my 20hrs of weekly practice looks like it wasn’t achieved. Without that update it’s sort of useless for me, because I often forget to turn these types of timers on and off perfectly every time.

love the setup, excited for updates!

first off, I think ADHDOrganizerPlanner is super sleek, beautiful UI, and I love the three different methods of tracking activities (single, counter, and timer.) I’ve read over four hours in the past week, and I’m so excited to see how ADHDOrganizerPlanner helps me focus on what’s important in the future!

That being said, ADHDOrganizerPlanner does feel like it needs some updates. Here’s what I’d love to see in future updates:
1. ability to reorganize your tasks in the Today tab as desired
2. the Stats tab is pretty confusing and I can’t see all my streaks in one place. The Activity calendar also doesn’t make sense in that in only shows three tasks max completed for each day.
3. I also don’t really “get” the Timeline tab. It mostly seems to involve a lot of scrolling to see when you did something, which I think could be served better by a vertical layout calendar that’s accessible from that Activity calendar.
4. I’ve also noticed that I’m sent notifications to finish tasks at my specified notification time even if that task has already been completed, which seems a bit redundant.

Those are my main notes, and I’m excited to see what comes next. Thanks to the developers for making a cool app. :)

P.S. an Apple Watch app at some point would be awesome!

One big reason not 5 stars

I use ADHDOrganizerPlanner to track amounts or time spent on activity categories that mean something to me. ADHDOrganizerPlanner works fine for this. However, the Stats view is awful. It assumes too much. It assumes I have a goal of quitting something or that there are success rates, I don't. ADHDOrganizerPlanner should know based on the fact all my categories are Simple trackers. My stat page should reflect the things I'm actually doing and collecting. This seems so obvious to me I feel stupid paying for ADHDOrganizerPlanner for "lifetime". It completely fails in understanding your timespent on a variety of categories.

Example. I have 2 categories "Quality time with spouse" and "alone time". I want to track what that looks like over 14 days and depending on results THEN I might set goals. Right now the Stats view won't let me know how I'm spending my time overall based on the categories I care about. Not having this is a silly misstep.

Truly checks all the boxes

I was having such a hard time finding 1. a good habit tracker that wasn’t either bogged down with useless features or wasn’t incredibly ugly and 2. a good daily task timer (for making sure I’m getting in 45 minutes of reading a day, 30 minutes of walking, etc). I would have been happy with two good apps instead of one that did both well but even that was impossible.

If you’re in the same boat: download ADHDOrganizerPlanner immediately. Clean, intuitive interface. Tracks habit building and breaking. Daily task timer. It’s even become my to-do list and reminder app. Can’t speak highly enough of ADHDOrganizerPlanner and the developer. I had nearly given up.

Just what I needed

ADHDOrganizerPlanner fills the gap for me in a lot of ways that other goal tracking apps don’t. I like that there’s options for different types of goals and a lot of freedom in the customizations. I would definitely recommend the premium version.

It can be a little overwhelming to start out, but after the initial learning curve, it’s really easy to get the hang of. I like that the timers can be used in app, as it encourages me not to just pick up my phone and do something else haha.

I’ve only been using ADHDOrganizerPlanner for a few days but I can already tell it’s going to help me a lot with time management this fall with school. I would really love to see a desktop or even browser version of ADHDOrganizerPlanner!

Great app for staying productive

I was having trouble sticking to checklists bc they were manual, this helps me keep track of my daily activities the right way. I can track my language learning by time and look back at my time spent, I can keep track of how many times I do a variable count task in a week and it’s all in one place. I don’t have to time it myself and record it or check it off and sum it up somewhere - it’s all in ADHDOrganizerPlanner . The dev is active on Reddit and is dedicated to helping people stay productive and improve themselves. You don’t have to be a productivity maniac to improve yourself, ADHDOrganizerPlanner showed me that I can attain exceptional things with just a little help to stay consistent.

perfect time management - simple to use

ADHDOrganizerPlanner looks really nice. You don’t get lost in it and it takes less than a minute to see how it works.

I can set goals for working on a project for a certain amount of time every day, and I can make reminders on each goal to remind me when it’s time to start them.

I have made simple goals so far. 45 minutes a day for a special work project, drink a certain amount of water everyday, and make sure I brush my teeth for the full two minutes for optimum tooth health. I will make one for how much time I spend on my phone doing nothing productive too.

I can set a time limit on activities that I want to do but shouldn’t spend to long on, like a break or watching shows. If I take a break, I push the play button and then stop it when I’m done. The time left on that activity let’s me know how much time I still have to do those breaks throughout the day. Perfect for time management.

I can see my progress and streaks too. Can’t wait to build them up.

Thank you so much for such a simple and impressive app. I’ve been looking for one for so long and this one seems tailored just for me!

Simple, intuitive, just missing one thing(?)

I enjoy the look of GUI a lot, and creating goals is really intuitive and easy. Does what it's designed to do, can't complain!

I think the only thing it's missing (or I simply haven't found a way to do it yet) is to archive goals or pause goals that aren't as relevant to you anymore-- for example, if I kept up a streak for exercising every day for an hour over 2 months and I want to stop, I'd prefer to not see it in my list of daily activities-- BUT, I'd also like to have it on record that I did put in the time to log those hours. From what I can tell, there's only a delete function, and it doesn't keep record of what I did for deleted goals.

A must have for better time management!

As someone who struggles with immense time management issues, I found ADHDOrganizerPlanner to increase motivation to stop wasting time and start doing things I actually wanted (and needed) to do, but couldn’t get started. It’s something about the easy layout and way of tracking different activities, the different options available for time and whether to start or limit, the fun color schemes, and seeing what you’ve accomplished that boosts productivity. It’s easy to use and well worth the download. I’m excited to see where ADHDOrganizerPlanner takes me in my journey to fight executive dysfunction and beat bad time management.

Very useful and thought out

I can’t say I’ve used too many other productivity apps, but with Timecap I don’t think I’ll be needing to try another any time soon. It’s simple and powerful. Creating different types of goals for yourself (it’s split into three categories in ADHDOrganizerPlanner ) is a very streamlined process, and visualizing your progress on each task is very easy. At the very least I’d recommend downloading ADHDOrganizerPlanner and trying it a bit before deleting if you’re not satisfied. Obviously however, know that apps can really only supplement your own internal reasons for committing to your goals, and for keeping track of your actual progress ADHDOrganizerPlanner feels perfect. Couldn’t be happier.

An absolute splendid app— but desperately needs a Watch interface.

ADHDOrganizerPlanner hits just about every checkmark on my impossibly high standards— easy to use, delightful to look at, and the functionality is on another level. The reminders have been great for keeping track of medication, as well as other time-sensitive goals.

I saw that other people with ADD/ADHD have come to boast about how much easier life seems with it, and that’s why I think adding in support for the Apple Watch would be an amazing addition, as being able to check off items without having to pull out my phone would help SO MUCH— I can’t be the only one sidetracked by games and social media while trying to use my
phone as an organizational tool. There is also the chance that there are goals/limits out there where getting to the phone to mark that you’ve done it is not immediately possible, and as someone with a clinically bad memory, being able to to something quickly before I forget is of the essence.

Intuitive and Effective

Picked this up earlier today after seeing a post on Reddit from the creator. So far I am loving how intuitive ADHDOrganizerPlanner is in terms of functionality. It’s awesome being able to keep track of both goals AND bad habits I’m trying to break in the same app. Being able to set individual reminders for each activity is great as well. I imagine that will be incredibly helpful moving forward, in order for me to develop positive habits by working them into my daily/weekly routine. All in all, I’m super impressed with ADHDOrganizerPlanner, and I can’t wait to build a better me with its help.

Love it!! But have some suggestions...

So far I really love ADHDOrganizerPlanner! The simplicity is wonderful, and is so easy to use. Very happy there is a dark mode, as regular modes bother my eyes. Hoping that this really helps me keep track of things with my ADHD.

Two things I wish it had though:
1. More color options for each goal/limit. I like everything to be a different color, and there’s just not enough to choose from for me.
2. I would LOVE for there to be a version for the Apple Watch! I try to do as much as I can through my watch so that I stay off of my phone, so having my things on there so that I don’t have to keep looking at my phone would be awesome.

Most versatile habit tracker I've seen

I use this for intermittent fasting. I like to focus on my eating window instead of tracking how long I fast, so I just set up a daily "limit" task for the length of my window! I start the timer when I start eating, then stop it when I'm done for the day. It's perfect!

As a bonus, I can also create a "counter" task to track my water intake. I've been looking for something like this since the Window app changed hands.

The interface is pleasant, you get a little "good job!" for succeeding, and it keeps up with your history to keep you honest. Thanks for such a handy tool!

No frills, straightforward, minimal & aesthetic

This is the first habit tracking app that I actually stick to using due to its simplicity. Really helps manage ADHD & executive dysfunction. It’s aesthetically pleasing, almost soothing to look at & use.

It could be improved by having an option to schedule a task for every x number of days. Also having an option to schedule a task to start on x day and end on x day. In general just having more flexibility with scheduling, like google calendar. Lastly it would be nice to archive tasks so you can still see the data from tasks you no longer need to track.

Amazing for people with time-blindness/ADHD

I wasn’t sure if adding another app to the collection was counterproductive, but this one is truly the final boss! The design is streamlined and simple which prevents me from wasting time playing around aimlessly on it. I rly struggle with “time blindness” as a symptom of my ADHD and ADHDOrganizerPlanner is extremely helpful for that. It’s perfect for those of us that know exactly what the structure of the day *should* be, but don’t have the ability to keep track of time physically passing. ADHDOrganizerPlanner kinda does that for you and lets you also set up non-timed goals that are satisfying to check off. Overall best productivity app I’ve ever tried!

Goal types are awesome

I really like the different types of goals. In other apps I have to manage the details myself. For example, if I want to exercise for 30 minutes, with other apps I need to run a separate timer, then go into the task app to check it off. Now I can time it and complete it all in one place. It even notifies me when the timer is up so I can use my phone for other things.

My only issue is this: even if I completed a task at 11AM, ADHDOrganizerPlanner pesters me with a notification at noon to do my already finished task. It’s makes me want to disable notifications, but they are helpful when I really haven’t done the task yet. Please fix this.

Love this app! Just needs one thing..

ADHDOrganizerPlanner has enabled me to track so much of my life and has allowed me to get a real understanding of where I’m spending my time. As a result, my productivity has skyrocketed!

The only thing I would add is being able to add in blocks of activities in the timeline retroactively. In case I forget to ‘clock in’ for an activity, I think it would be helpful to be able to add it in later so I can still get an accurate representation of my time spent during the day!

Simple—great for managing ADHD

Super intuitive, visually pleasing, and sensible. I’ve tried tons of productivity/time management apps and this seems like one that I would stick with so far. Being able to run time tracking activities looks especially useful since I spend too much time thinking about how to best categorize my tasks in the first place. One recommendation I have is to be able to rearrange the activity blocks by pressing down and dragging them—especially since they are color coded!

I’ve tried them all. I finally found it!

I’ve tried every habit tracker out there. They all have the same layout, the same cheesy color schemes and icons, and the same functions, give or take a few. Some go too deep, some are too shallow. FINALLY someone got it right. The colors are beautiful, the layout is superb and the functions included give me all the options I need in a format that is so simplistic yet so accommodating.

I’ve been looking for a way to track goals and work habits to force myself to do tasks that I would rather blow off and to set limits on time so I know I’m am able to track tasks. Simple and good.

ADHDOrganizerPlanner is exactly what I want in a timer, something I can pause and continue much later, and being able to have several is a major plus. It doesn’t seem to have a lot of functionality, but the functions it does have are very well executed, and any further functionality that could be added later is frankly unnecessary.
