Love this.

I love Avocation. The free version is awesome. It had exactly what I needed. I went ahead and paid for the lifetime pro bc it’s such a great app and I want to support the developers. Also I wanted to add more habits bc it is that useful. I originally got Avocation bc I read a review saying that Avocation doesn’t track streaks so you don’t feel like you’ve blown it if you miss a day and that really resonated with me - and it’s so true. Also I really love this developer’s business model - make a high quality product, offer it for free without junky ads, and without high pressure sales tactics. Let Avocation speak for itself. And it totally does. One feature I would like is the ability to sync across separate devices. And the ability to check off a task from my Apple Watch. ❤️🥑!

Great app so far, keep developing it!

I really like the idea and basic functions of Avocation so far. The UI is really well done and great to use. Also the developer(s) is really helpful and will answer questions and respond to feedback very quickly which is cool!

My biggest complaint is that the free version is pretty much not useful, as you can only have 3 habits. I got the pro cause I like Avocation and want to support its development, but I wish there was a free trial or at least 5-7 habits in the free version.

I’m excited to see what new features get added in regards to the plant growth aspect. It’s an important element that helps “gamify” Avocation a bit which is an important part for me.

in love with this app!

incredibly user friendly, minimalistic, with super cute design. it’s exciting to complete a habit and see your plant grow 🌱🥺 i’ve been using for a while now and i’ve already seen a change - i’ve been SO consistent with the habits i’m building. Avocation is encouraging and fun to use daily. i even got the paid version (which i never do) bc it’s so worth it & supporting the creators of Avocation feels good to give back. especially not being pressured into it with annoying ads and sign ups and all that. recommending to all my friends :)

Great, but would love more

It is very cute and I am super excited to use it everyday. I love the colors and the simplicity of Avocation . The icons are so wonderful and I think this is really going to make a difference in my daily routines. I love the lessons. It actually reminds me of Noom a little and it’s fantastic.

Some things that I hope will be updated: is to track habits that we don’t want to do anymore/quit. Have more generic weekly habits, so if we want to do a habit 3 times a week but it doesn’t matter which 3 days we do it. Id also really like a weekly/monthly summary. So I can see what habits did I do really well on that week/month and which do I need to work on. A way to undo a habit, I accidentally clicked on the icon and it marked as I completed it, however I didn’t.

Love the look and simplicity

This is the first habit tracking app I have stuck with, most likely because it does not track streaks (which my black and white brain reads as failure if I am not perfect) and the layout encourages you to keep it simple. I am currently tracking about 5 habits and I have been able to increase how often I do at least two of them in only a few weeks of using this. The articles are great too! I work in mental health and I appreciate the compassion. These are skills. Skills can be learned. I am not broken.

Finally an app that does everything!!

I was just customizing all my habits and I see that you can add religion and it’s very important in my family read the Bible every day I couldn’t believe it!I am in kidney failure so I have to drink as much water as I can to stay healthy and it’s very important that I have a habit in here for drinking water to remind me because I get going in the day and sometimes I forget so I am very thrilled to have Avocation!I even paid the one time fee forever because I am so excited for Avocation!

Very cute habit tracker

I’ve been using this for a couple of weeks now and I really enjoy it! I love the cute motivational elements (like the avocado and growing a plant as you track habits), and appreciate the flexibility it gives for setting notifications for different habits.

The only thing I wish it has is data visualization of your habits over a wider time window; it mostly shows simple info for the past week, and I’d like it to show a longer view. It would be great if you could select one of your habits to see a visualization of its history.

Still, I do recommend!

Update Soon?

Avocation looks so promising! I love all of the features that are simple and easy to use. However, when I downloaded Avocation the words didn’t fit within the boxes correctly making the text/overall interface cut off due to settings I have in place on my phone.

A recommendation from an excited user - within the next future update please make it so that text boxes are compatible with larger text mode/zoom. Thanks! 🥑

Love but lackluster for plants

I have been using Avocation for 70 days now, and I throughly enjoy the simple look and how I use it for my daily habits. However, I feel it would be really fun if there were a variety of plants you could grow and add to a collection of sorts. It really takes away the fun and appeal of growing a plant based on your habits when your “fully grown plant” doesn’t even have a flower or is not a type of plant variety. Other than that, I really do enjoy using it and hope that it develops such features and more in the future! Thank you!

Can we have more notifications

First off I love Avocation it’s so colorful it makes me happy to see something good in the world since the pandemic it’s really useful I just want one thing can we have more notifications because I wake up at 7:30 have coffee and breakfast and by the time I’m done I don’t see the notification I just want like 3 notifications I hope I don’t so picky and mean though overall this is the best habit tracker I’ve had

Love It!!!!

This is one of the best apps I’ve gotten in a long time. Not only has it helped me record and remember the tasks I need to accomplish daily, but it does so in a cute, rewarding way! I love Avocation!
I think the only thing I would improve about Avocation is to have an Apple Watch app to go with it to track your habits on the go!
Otherwise, I love Avocation and it has really helped me take more control over my life!

Great app

I love Avocation, it’s helped me so much in the past few weeks and I’ve had a solid routine for a while. Two problems though, I’m not picky or anything, but I would really like it if I didn’t have to pay ten dollars for something. (I love it in all but for some reason this just bugged me.) And second I haven’t figured out how my water goes up, it didn’t give me instructions on that. I’m really great full for Avocation and it’s helped me so much 🙂

Thank you developers!! 🙏🏻🥑💚

So cute I open it several times a day.

This is not a habit tracker that you will download and forget. It has a very unique design with a cute avocado character that you get to see on some screens. The colors are calming, the interface is simple yet fun, and user friendly. I love that it’s not a subscription. You pay a mid range fee for lifetime and it’s yours to keep. It’s a refreshing app in the world of habit trackers.

Love it!

I love Avocation! I have tried so many other habit tracker apps and none of them seem to stick. This one is so easy to stick to because it is simple to check off each habit and you can see results on your plant. I love how simple it is and I like how it is a clean set up without a lot of distractions.

Trash app with appealing interface

Avocation is cute with animation and illustrations at first impression, had me spend on upgraded version which costs $13 for nothing rather than more habit added. It has a tree pot as our productivity metaphor which will grow if we collect enough water tank after a productive day, unfortunately somehow the plant does not grow at all. Giving no motivation
Oh, and they charge money to upgrade color pot, which I find hilarious
If you’re young you may enjoy it, not for me
Don’t. Upgrade. This
Use free one!

Love it

I love Avocation! So simple, so cleanly designed. Very encouraging with no shame based tactics or pressure. Only suggestion /question I have—- is there a way to view each habit and what days it has been completed in the past? I haven’t found a way to do this and would LOVE this feature 🙂

By

Love it, just wish there were a couple of upgrades!

Love Avocation. It’s too cute! Would be great if there was a monthly calendar view to see daily progress and streaks and the option to rearrange habits into a custom order. Also, maybe a few more icons. Other than that, it’s great and so much more eye pleasing and simpler than a lot of other habit apps.

Simple, Effective, & Useful

I really love the easiness, simplicity, and cleanness of Avocation! The plant growth is a really cute addition. * I would love the ability for the water tracking to be synced with the iPhone’s Health app! Also, a widget to quickly track a habit would also be very helpful! *

This app is amazing

Love the idea of no streaks and it’s freaking adorable! I have adhd and using streaks has always resulted in beating myself up at the end of the week. It also has little articles/classes to help you understand all about your habits. Love this!

Recommended for installation👍🏻

This application is very useful
The user interface is beautiful
The team has compassionate support and follow-up. I wanted a worship item that is going to be added to the program soon.
Install and enjoy👌

Love but needs one change

I absolutely love Avocation! It’s so beautiful and simple, and I love the “grow your plant” gamification feature. I rated 4 instead of 5 stars because there is no way to adjust your start date for habits. It would be an easy 5 stars if you could back track your habits.

Love the separation of day....

Between morning, midday, evening, and any time. Also enjoy the icon (Wish there were more), and the ability to track a task multiple times a day! The price was reasonable as well.

By

I love it! 🥑

Avocation is so cute! I love the little drawings everywhere and there are lots of cool features that you can use, which makes it great for achieving your goals/building habits!

Goals and habits help during the pandemic

A friend told me about this and I’m glad I tried it!!

I like it!

I enjoy Avocation. It’s cute and easy to yse. I guess I can’t complain much because it isn’t free but I wish they had maybe 7 or 8 habits instead of judt 5.
Otherwise, it’s great!

This app is making me a better version of myself

I honestly love Avocation. I’ve tried other task management apps in the past (i.e. Evernote, Google Calendar), but generally don’t stick to using those after a few days.

Avocation is different.

It has a VERY cute, clean design. Other apps feel overwhelming just looking at them (they’re usually cluttered with lists, graphs, and other features that can be anxiety producing). this app is minimalist, without being boring. The circles used to track your habits are actually kind of soothing to look at and the icons are so clever and sleek.

This is the first time I’ve consistently stuck with a lot of my daily personal goals that I’ve struggled with in the past (drinking more water, stretching, sticking to a skin care routine, etc.)

Unlike other apps, this gives you a motivation outside of finishing a goal for yourself, which you just need sometimes. In all honesty, the idea that completing a task will grow a virtual plant is so motivating. No other task/habit app has that. I love it! Growing my plant has 100% been the thing that has kept me on track.

There’s only a few things I would hope for in the future and those are: a calendar to track progress (no graphs or anything, just where you can open it to a day and see what happened or how full you get the water jug any given day), the ability to make edits for/see something more than a day old (if you forgot to check a task off), and more plant pot options.

TL;DR Avocation is awesome. Sleek. Simple. Effective. Perfect layout/design. Motivates you with cute icons and a plant you grow when you get stuff done!
