UpHabit: Personal CRM Reviews

this app is a welcome life hack for those of us who know the value of growing and feeding our network, but lack a systematic way of doing so. Once you are set up on UpHabit, your activity skyrockets and the game is changed. I don't have to remember who to reach out to and when, and I don't have to search my brain or some spreadsheet to recall what we talked about before. Just have to play along.

The other important thing to note regarding UpHabit - the this app team is relentless in developing and releasing functionality in regular and rapid fashion. They also solicit customer input actively to make sure what they are working on is important and valued. There are other apps with similar intentions regarding personal crm functionality, but they are more static after first release. This one keeps getting better, and helps me get better too.

At first I wasn’t sure what to expect, but as soon as it *clicked* and I “got it,” this app completely replaced my phone’s native local address book as a turbo-charged upgrade where I can organize, plan, and take immediate action from directly within. I now put all new contacts straight into this app immediately without any thought...

It has become my command center for all communication, and the tagging, reminders, and deep-link integrations have taught me what real intentionality and consistency actually looks like for list building and maintaining, texting, Linkedin, email, and other DMs...

I’ve found easily repeatable workflows that reliably get me the attention and time of hard-to-reach people, and ensures follow-up to advance and expand conversations to new areas effortlessly. Keep up the good work!

How many times have you thought, “I really need to follow up with that person!” this app helps you focus your efforts on the relationships, personal and professional, that mean the most. Since I began a month ago, I’ve had small, but meaningful connections with over a hundred friends and colleagues. Something as simple as “I was think of you, how are you doing?” That quick act renews and refreshes the connection with your important people. It has also led to several lunches and coffees where we had the chance to connect more deeply. From a business perspective, it has already led to one large deal. More importantly to me, I feel more connected to my community and friends. this app is the habit to take up in 2020!

this app is great for helping stay connected to my network, especially when it comes time to change careers because it provides the capability to keep customer contacts as personal contacts. It’s also a very effective sales tool for managing pre-funnel contacts and conversations at a personal level across all mediums that i use everyday: calls, emails, texts and social media. The searchable tagging features make it so easy to categorize and look up different groups of contacts in both my personal and professional life. And when you add in the customized reminder function, UpHabit has definitely helped me improve my relationships across the board.

UpHabit is fantastic for keeping in touch with personal friends, and it just keeps getting better.
I wanted an app where I could keep a list of the friends I wanted to stay in contact with, and be able to add tags to them so I could view contacts in different friends groups.
I have some friends I want to contact weekly, some every few weeks, and a few once a year, and UpHabit is flexible enough to handle all of it. Highly recommend to anyone looking to strengthen their relationships.

UpHabit would be perfect it you were able to add a checklist with reminders for onboarding clients. I have several steps that I do on different days.

If you want to connect with your loved ones and nurture your network, but feel overwhelmed by the idea of juggling communication with so many people, or feel guilty that you haven’t contacted them in so long, this is UpHabit for you! It’s flexible and presents all the information you need at a glance, and the developers are responsive and focused on making this a great app for their users. I’m really impressed with it and I feel happier having improved my relationships with family and friends.

I’ve tried a lot of solutions, and this app is by far the best. I love that it extends from mobile to desktop and automatically snoozes reminders if I’m already in communication with someone.

The automated contact management and ability to spread out personal communications is very helpful. I went from an Evernote list of ~40 people I want to stay in touch with to 153 in this app (filtered from a list of >1k automatically imported!).

I’m only a few days in and am a BIG fan!

Been using it and it’s really helping me clean up my contact lists. Excited to see the other updates and really cool how you guys are open for constructive feedback on getting better. 5 stars for me if only the reminders would be more precise on timing and with a pop up or noise reminder. There’s a few other things that would truly make this even better but hopefully they’ll get done in the future.

I wanted something to help me keep track of my network short of a full CRM. I tried that and it was expensive and had too many features. this app fits just right for a regular career professional. The support from the developers is in another league. My company has enterprise software costing five figures per year and the support falls short of what you get from this simple app.

Great contacts are only good if you communicate with them. Frequent communication develops strong relationships. UpHabit makes staying in touch with your clients and future clients easier. I saw results immediately with just a phone call, email or text. The this app Team is constantly improving UpHabit and their response time is quick. Great tool for anyone who wants to maximize their network and relationships.

this app gives me the system and structure I need to follow up and keep in touch with all the amazing people I meet when I’m out and about networking for my business. this app is a great tool to help me keep track of contacts and relationships I want to prioritize. During COVID, I’ve been relying on increasing networking but our business CRM doesn’t really allow me to focus on relationships and people outside of “leads, accounts” etcZ this app has been easy to set up and I’m very pleased with it so far

I’ve made some suggestions a couple of times and they’re always able to show me some mock-ups of the plans. I’ve always gotten a very quick response when I send emails. I really, really appreciate having UpHabit!

I’ve tried a ton of CRM programs, but they tend to be overly complex for my needs, with visualizations of “sales pipelines” and so forth. This is truly a “personal” CRM.

It’s better than some software where you have to manually input everything, but I don’t use the integrations offered much. I mostly communicate with people via Slack, Discord, and SMS. The lack of these integrations means I have to do a lot of manual work to maintain UpHabit . If I’m going to do it all myself anyway, I may as well just keep notes the old fashioned way.

UpHabit is incredibly user-friendly, and something that I enjoy using to run my small consulting business. Developers are responsive and improve UpHabit at a heathy pace. The tagging feature is so easy to use and helpful to categorize contacts.

Love UpHabit for keeping track of my business contacts! Easy to use and intuitive. Allows me to classify contacts into groups of my choice. Easy integration with my address book and gmail. New features all the time. Looking forward to what’s next!

Developer is responsive and fixing bugs. Didn’t work at all now it does so updating my review.

There are a lot of PRMs out there. this app is actually good. Links all your accounts easily. Accessible from multiple devices and the web. Customer service is amazing. First review of an app in my life. Well deserving of praise.

this app does a great job of helping me maintain all the relationships that take a little more intentionality. I needed something to prompt me to stay in touch regularly. That’s exactly what I’ve found here.

Working so far

I was really excited to use UpHabit but I haven’t been able to open it. It worked when I initially installed it but keeps crashing after that. I’ve installed it multiple times but still no luck. I would love to give this a fair review.

Keeps connections top of mind! Well time reminders make it easy....

I probably should have read the description of UpHabit closer. It doesn’t look like there’s a way to make new contacts on this platform; only organize or resume contact with current ones.

this app has helped me up-level (that’s the word all the kids are using) my relationship-building game and it genuinely deserves one of my few five-star reviews.

Until about 9 months ago, I had gone from contact manager to contact manager, CRM to CRM, trying to find an app that would help me do just two things: one, keep track of my interactions with people in my life and, two, remind me to connect with them again. Time and again I found apps that could work, but were far too heavy — they had too many additional features I would not use and/or the interface required too much work to navigate and use effectively.

(Also a consideration for me: I have a team that needs to use a “personal relationship manager” and, although *I* am a techie, I don’t want them to resist using a complicated interface.)

this app has hit all of the right buttons for me. It allows me to not only note my interactions, but also categorize them by type (phone, text, email — and custom types). I can apply multiple tags to contacts so I can quickly show groups of people or find someone I can connect with another. I am not just reminded to connect with each person, but — more importantly — I can set a schedule for each individual that reflects their priority in my life.

Currently up to 430 relationships under management and this has never been easier!

So far it’s been a real eye opener. For years I’ve been looking for the right tool to help me better manage my personal & important business relationships. I needed something that was mine and not associated with my business CRM so I could continue my relationships independent of jobs/company. Obviously this isn’t all business. But some people and businesses I’ve dealt with for 10-20-30 years.
Plus how do I keep in contact with my family and friends so I don’t miss someone that’s important to me. This has been the answer! Super excited to see what they do in the future and how they continue to improve.
