ReshapeMe - Workouts & Meals Reviews

I bought this just for the workouts, and while it is nice and a more budget friendly alternative to Sweat, there are many glitches. Often the workouts are categorized wrong because they only have a few workouts that are just put into every category. For example, there is a workout called Bikini Body that will come up when you search for arms workouts, leg workouts, and core workouts. Also a lot of things are misspelled which doesn’t give me much confidence in the program. Some exercises, such as split squats, just say to do 20 reps without clarifying if you should do 20 on each leg or 20 total. Finally, sometimes the videos that accompany the exercises are not actually demonstrating the exercise it’s telling you to do.

ReshapeMe functionality is hit or miss. some meals will initially show and then they won’t show again until days later. Also not enough meals available. If you skip a meal there is no way to re-add it back to your plan unless you type it in yourself. Some recipes are wrong. It will be a salmon meal and the recipe calls for chicken, for example. the user needs to have complete freedom when it comes to adding, deleting, re adding, and creating meal plans for the day. Currently this is limited at least in my usage. Work outs are ok and so is the water use, steps etc. my biggest gripe is the food section.

I had the free 7 day trial for the one year subscription and I didn’t care for the fact that I can’t track my own intake, so an update was made to allow tracking calories, however I still do not want to continue the subscription and in my settings there is NO option to cancel and I’m about to be charged a lot of $ for an app that’s not as user friendly as they make it out to be. This is false advertising a free trial and not allowing an option to CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION like every other app subscription I’ve ever had, this is the only one I’ve encountered this problem with. I do not want to be charged for the one year subscription and there’s NO OPTION TO CANCEL IT. Seriously frustrating. I’m going to have my bank reject the transaction.

Do not waste your money on this subscription. The only “helpful” thing is the workouts. There are no more than 5 meals. You can “skip” them that day, but then there is no way to track calories. It does not link to MyFitnessPal, Garmin, anything that I have already used to track my steps and calories. It has contributed nothing to helping me lose weight. Wasted $60 for the full year subscription... then I went to cancel and make sure I won’t be charged next year after I completely forget about this useless app, and I don’t see anywhere to cancel. Clicked cancel and it just shows me a billing statement.

#paddle and #this app Reshape Me have the worst customer service ever- I HAVE HAD TO FILE A CLAIM against them to be refunded $66 on a subscription I never had any intention to sign up for. After seeing a charge on my account I didnt authorize - I contact paypal right away and filed dispute. after the last 3 days of fighting with Paddle being the mediator I am still being denied my refund - I never even signed up for a subscription as Reshape me claims - fraudulent activity and now have to fight further through Apple and incur another charge with my bank to dispute the charge and get part of my money back 😡 they are theives do not sign up for their services!!!

Oversold. Underdelivered. They do not refund once you pay and see the actual app. I tried to cancel in 24 hours and get a refund and received an email saying they do not refund per their “terms and conditions”. Fine, I understand contracts, but folks need to know they are purchasing a product that is not what they claim it is. No customized programs or meals. It’s a list that you can choose from of workouts I could have gotten from Pinterest for free packaged in an app. You have to pay more money once you pay the initial money to get what they claim you will get with ReshapeMe . Zero stars, do not recommend.

I love ReshapeMe because it shows my goals and ever day I log my weight it puts the percentage achieved! This is very motivating and it keeps me on track. My weight loss is due to changes in my diet from a long time health condition. The changes are permanent and the result is weight loss! What a great side affect not to mention the other health benefits! Have been using it a long time and plan to continue.

I purchased ReshapeMe because I have trouble setting aside even 30 minutes for exercising. The daily exercises take 15 minutes to complete! I am beginning my journey, and ReshapeMe is definitely helping me with my goal of staying committed! Would recommend in a heartbeat!

So there is a cancel subscription button in ReshapeMe but it doesn’t let you cancel. It makes you enter your email so that it will send you an email link to cancel. But it just sends an email that your account doesn’t exist….but it can send you an email to reset your password for ReshapeMe so I guess your account does exist. There is no way listed to call customer service….just email them and hope they reply. Maybe it is better through Apple subscriptions…but what a headache. Not worth the trouble!!!!

I am enjoying ReshapeMe however I don’t believe it’s worth $19 /month. I app does not count your calories for foods manually put it. It doesn’t provider an app timer for different things and there’s no motivation. You will need to be a self starter to have ReshapeMe, for a person struggling to stay on track this is not a good app.

I’m looking over the meal plans and buying a few things. I just downloaded it today. The food looks good and it has so many options and the recipes. Like anything else you yourself just has to stick with it. That is always the hard part and I pray that I can do it 😊.

I can’t play my apple music in the background while using ReshapeMe and viewing the workouts. As soon as I reopen ReshapeMe to view the workouts, my music pauses.

Also, ReshapeMe does not do what it advertised it would do. For example, the ad showed that everyday you would get personalized goals and plans (e.g., don’t eat any sweets today). This feature doesn’t exist. The only thing you get is a few recipes that aren’t great (like a turkey sandwich) and some workouts.

I am sick of all the diet apps that have a few precalculated exercises to apply, but it is mostly all about calories - good ones, ok ones, bad ones. I don’t want to figure out what workout I need to do, I want someone to tell me. Here do this - and I will do it! This is it. Finally!!!!

I paid for a year subscription, was never sent an email, when I try to sign in it says I done have a subscription. However the company was quick to take my money, and have sent them a screen shot of my bank account showing my account was charged. When I asked to be refunded they keep sending me a link to get a refund that also does not work...horrible and they basically stole my money...do not use ReshapeMe!!!

ReshapeMe keeps me motivated and provides great workouts. Sometimes when the workout selected might be too hard on certain areas (my knees)- I can choose another and still feel accomplished. Really love the tools it offers and the flexibility!

It appears the only way to track your steps is to use your iPhone tracker or Apple Watch. I’m not leaving the program running on my phone to track me. I can’t enter steps manually. I also am unable to enter info for the previous day. I usually do this before bed, often after midnight, so I am out of luck. I sent messages to the developer/help hoping for some solutions and they will not even respond. Don’t waste your time or money on this.

ReshapeMe does not do what it states it does. Your menu cannot be selected to narrow down what you dislike such as meat, veggie and allergy variations. Its preselected for you and if you don't like seafood or has allergies your screwed. Also does not update daily exercise and meals the way it states. Do not waste your money because it want be refunded if you have issues . They have a term agreement that will not give back refunded money. All they will do is cancel your next subscription. 40 dollars down the drain!

I moved back to USA from Jamaica due to my daughter having COVID and take care of her puppy while she works at night. Finding my groove has been daunting.... but I got new sneaks and a walking routine for the puppy so I am ready to go all in now. I love ReshapeMe . So well thought out.

The daily workout part of ReshapeMe is amazing. The food portion doesn’t ever load for me, even after restarting ReshapeMe , etc. the food is not customizable and I have food allergies, the instructions for cooking are not great either. If you need a daily workout with hand and body weight, ReshapeMe is great. If you want more than that, I don’t recommend.

I’m really enjoying it. I like the workouts also. They are great to pair with my regular workouts at the gym and give me a great cool down. I like the monitoring of steps throughout the day and how it syncs with my Apple Watch. I’m just hoping after I leave this review the pop ups stop. 😉

(1) video exercises do not match with the labels (for example it may say do 15 squat lunges and the it will say do 15 reverse pullups but the video will still show the squat lunges (2) cannot enter your own food - it only allows you to select their exact recommended meals or say you skipped the meal (3) cannot look over your history (say you wanted to see how much water you drank over the last few days) all in all Not Worth it!! Cancelled my subscription within 24 hours

ReshapeMe is very limited in so many ways - you can not even go back a day to adjust any information on your water, exercise or meals. Then with the meals you can’t change it to what you actually eat!
With the exercise you can’t change it to what you actually did!

Now regarding the support- I have emailed them multiple times about questions about how to work with it & only get automated replies.... that’s not help!!

I thought I’d try this since it had a free trial. I got on ReshapeMe & realized it was nothing like the ads. Then I got a notice that I was charged instantly day 1 of the 14 day trial. Now they won’t refund me because they don’t offer partial refunds!? You falsely charge me but won’t offer a refund on the charge I didn’t authorize!? There are much better programs out there that have actual trials & actually provide the services they advertise. Please save yourself the headache & use another program!!

I always Seinfeld finding a good workout that kept me coming back to the gym. ReshapeMe lets me track my workouts and has a variety where I enjoy all of it! Now if I can start using the rest of the benefits

I contacted the company twice through email, which is the only way to contact them, about the same issue. Any screen that has metal suggestions, from any page, it launches an enrollment promo ad and does not give you a recipe or any other food information. It makes ReshapeMe worthless.
No word from the company other than a generated email saying they received your message.

I never use the apps for weight loss, but this one I’m definitely using. It gives you recipes and exercises plus tracks your steps! I love it

Loved the 7 day trial, purchased the full year and a day after the work our feature stopped working for my everyday. I emailed and got on response back asking for screenshots. I sent within 5 minutes and have never heard back. That was over a week ago. Do not buy ReshapeMe. Worst customer service.

ReshapeMe is pretty useless for the amount you have to pay. There is no food calorie calculator (for when you choose to eat something other than what’s on the plan). There is no way to edit food log if you accidentally enter in the wrong things. There are better options out there. Super disappointed.
