RIPTA also offers one-way, Day and Monthly passes for use on all services. When ready to board the bus, open the app, and scan it under the validator. Never lose your fare product again! Once you load money into your Wave account, it will always be available to use. Need to replace your phone? No problem -- we can easily transfer your balance. Tricky but works fine
The app works fine. The interface and use takes a bit to get used to. They just need to include better instructions. Although it’s still better than getting a physical card.

Better than the old app!
The last RIPTA app for the bus didn’t let you set up auto-purchases, this one does and it seems much better.

Money Issues
This app, at first (though tricky to learn) was useful and convenient. Loads per device. Bot many alternative options. But the new update is horrible. I would load money to a device it would glitch and load it to another, or would erase my card so i would lose money. Tried to get money back but they didnt do refunds. I missed buses and wasted money because of this app and costumer service is really poor. It didnt even respond consistent, i use it one day on my device worked fine then the following day it crashed and again lost my money.
