My cuisinart app keeps crashing won't connect

I chose the Oakmont Pellet Grill because it has Bluetooth and WiFi capabilities. Unfortunately, when attempting to download the Cuisinart Easy BBQ app, it says that my version of Android device is too new and that the App was created for an older Android version. Is there an alternate app? Or a update coming soon? Without the app the WiFi feature is mute.

I can not connect to wifi which is why i bought this grill if it is not going to work i will be returning it for refund been trying to connect it since yesterday wtf and your help line is just a recorded message ?

Again, goto Cuisinart Easy Connect » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
